Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Forest of Fontainebleau

The house and setting is beautiful. Excellent bedding. It was really great. The only small downside is that there were no photos of the outdoor staircase to access the house. The person accompanying me is prone to dizziness and had difficulty descending due to the void and no ramp. Same for toddlers... there is still a risk that they will fall inadvertently...

Stay with 3 young children, we enjoyed the indoor and outdoor games as well as the proximity to the forest. Very well equipped kitchen. Heating put on when we arrived, it was very nice.

We had a lovely stay at Sarah's house, nestled in the heart of the Trois Pignon Forest. The location offers unparalleled privacy, perfect for a peaceful getaway, and the spacious garden was a highlight—our kids absolutely loved exploring it! We stayed on the ground floor, which had two bedrooms but only one full bed and one toilet. This is worth noting if you're traveling with a larger group. The house itself was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed, though we encountered a couple of minor issues: the showerhead in the single-shower could use some attention, and the kettle grill wasn’t quite functional. Despite these small hiccups, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with plenty of nature and charm, this is a wonderful choice! Very nice accommodation, well equipped! There's also a very nice exterior. Very good communication with Christine who was also very generous in offering us fruits/vegetables from their store.

Excellent overnight stay in this charming little house. There is all the necessary equipment, the premises are warm and comfortable and the setting is very pleasant. In addition, the house remains cool despite the intense heat. To be booked without hesitation!

the house is in an idyllic place, in the middle of the forest, very quiet. The accommodation is very comfortable, very well-equipped (especially with children). Many activities around. We were sad to leave it!

Host was very responsive to our last minute booking. The place is beautiful, spacious and pleasant to live in. We had an amazing stay and were able to enjoy the terrace, which is a real plus in summer.

Very nice appartment in an atypic mansion, cozy and with an absolutely amazing terrasse. Bakery and other shops are in walking distance and it's also possible to go to the bouldering areas, even though Chartrettes is a bit less on the map of climbers than other villages. Evelyne was also very helpful, in short, we had a great stay.

We (2 people) had a pleasant stay (4 days). Everything was as described and we can give a recommendation.

The stay went very well! The apartment is in a very good location, consistent with the photos, clean and cozy. The bed is a real double bed, comfortable (even if it looks small in the photos). The place is great and good value for money. Note: the apartment is on the 4th floor without elevator access and soundproofing is average. The hallway is shared with another Airbnb, the first day my neighbors were quite noisy (we could clearly hear the conversations and comings and goings). Fortunately, the rest of the stay was very quiet. I still recommend this place for its comfort and location!

Our family of 8 stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful time. The house is exactly as described. Everything you need and more is available at the house plenty to keep the kids entertained. The area is very quiet and felt very safe. Supermarket nearby and a small town. Larger towns within a 20/25 minute journey. Hosts are great and have recommendations and very responsive when we had a slight problem. Really lovely stay and would recommend.

Great place to stay for access to the forest. Easy to find and check in was easy. Host was very quick to respond to queries and was very helpful. Unfortunately we arrived before the pool was open but we would have used it if we could and it were a bit warmer. Rooms were clean and a good size. Kitchen is a little small but we managed to cook for us all okay. Regret not using the sauna but amazing that it were there.

The house is located in a small village that can be visited. There is a bakery in front of the house and a restaurant a little further down on a square. The village is 15 minutes' drive from Fontainebleau Castle and close to the forest for walks. There is a very nice garden overlooking the rooftops of the Village.

Our second stay here as a multigenerational family group and it was fantastic. Beautiful garden and house, so much for the kids to play with and we spent a lot of happy time there.

A short weekend at Laurent's, clean and as advertised accommodation, a host available. It was perfect, thank you Laurent looking forward to coming back.

A great stay in Villemer in this country house. Very functional and pleasant with a lot of amenities. We liked the responsiveness of our host as well as his flexibility. Recommended!

Had a great time at Kapla House. Very nice house, very well designed and furnished, in a beautiful green setting. Our hosts were very welcoming, gave us lots of good recommendations and made our stay easy and very enjoyable. Total disconnection 30 minutes by train from Gare de Lyon.
