This place is called ‘forest escape’ and it is exactly that: a beautiful and modern cabin in the middle of the woods. Handmade by the very friendly owners. There is a large home around 30 meters from the cabin, where you can cook and sit, have a hot shower or watch tv. There is also a really good coffee machine with free coffee the whole day! The cabin is private with a view on the woods, and there is a fire place outside and even an outdoor shower. The interior is so nicely decorated with sheep skin and a fireplace, really fits this place. In the main house is a mini shop so you can even take some handmade wooden souvenirs home. Maria, the host, gave us good tips to go and see in the area and she can be reached when you have questions or wishes. Dogs are welcome but not in the service house, in consideration of other guests. We’ve experienced that dogs aren’t allowed in shops or cafes in Torsby. Källberg Forest Escape is a fantastic place for nature lovers! 🌲

Idyllic, beautiful cabin with lots of space both inside and outside for our big family. There was both clean and a homey feeling with the possibility of borrowing board games when it rained and canoeing and rowboat when the weather was better. Highly recommended.

Everything was good. A great place to stay and Staffan is a nice and helpful host. We had a great stay with great views with a jacuzzi and a stone's throw away a sauna with a jetty where you can take an ice cold dip for those who dare;) so this place also works to enjoy at the end of November. .

Amazing place! The cabin was impeccable with everything you might need. Amazing scenery right outside. We got to take a cold bath in the nature bath before a delicious sauna! Definitely recommend and we would love to come again!

The property is located on a small hill a few hundred meters from the street, but is still great to reach by car. The apartment is located directly on the lake and the view is really fantastic. Luckily, it snowed during our stay and we had one of the most beautiful views you can imagine. We hiked around the lake one day and otherwise spent a lot of time in the sauna and just enjoyed the time. Nearby, there is a small supermarket where you can find everything you need for a short stay. There is also nothing missing in the accommodation itself, we would come back at any time and can recommend the accommodation to everyone.

Went for my birthday and had a lovely stay in this beautiful home! Surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, hosts very helpful and friendly, house was lovely and warm and very well equipped! I will be coming back ❤️

We really enjoyed Alex’s place. Very clean, great location and he communicates pretty good. We will definitely come back!!

Havards place was a great home base for us. We were easily able to walk to most parts of Oslo but there was plenty to do right by the house as well. There is quite a bit of construction as this is a new area but it didn’t interfere with our plans or travels. Definitely try the bakery beneath the apartment building!

Super nice place with the sweetest host. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back if we are staying in Oslo.
