Apartment vacation rentals in Fiumefreddo di Sicilia

We (two couples) were on our 11th day of travel and had spent the day hiking on Mt Etna and were tired, so it was nice to find a place so convenient that also had private parking. When we arrived we weren't certain of the precise location so Rosanna met us on the street side and showed us the proper entrance to park the car which was a gated and secure parking area. Wow!. There was also a luggage cart to help us get our luggage into the building. And then only one flight of stairs up to the apartment. The apartment was well equipped with all the basics and we really appreciated the snacks and Nutella, and my husband loved the ice cream treat - a very pleasant and thoughtful surprise after a long long day. We had heard of a great restaurant nearby but found the apartment so relaxing that we stayed in and finished some of our travel food (and wine). Overall, for us, it was a perfect overnight location. Definitely recommend.

Concetta is an incredible host! The apartment is located right in the heart of Naxos, just a minute’s walk from the sea and close to all the restaurants and bars. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and there’s even a washing machine. We stayed as a couple with a baby, and everything was perfect. Concetta helped us with everything we needed – she went above and beyond. The place was cleaned every two days, and even the sheets were replaced regularly. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back!

Salvos Villa is exactly as described and shown in the pictures - clean, well equipped and tastefully designed both inside and out. The great communication with Salvo himself is noteworthy - he felt approachable at any time of the day or night. The pool and garden were cleaned and maintained several times during our stay. We have no complaints and highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay! I took my mom to Sicily for the first time and this was a most ideal place and setting. The service and attention was exceptional and made you feel right at home upon arrival. The room seemed like it was newly renovated with nice modern furnishings and technology and also immaculately clean. Perfect patio view of La Isola Bella. The outdoor pool was clean as well. If you chose not to rent a car you can take a bus which picks you up about halfway down the hill and it takes you to the beach as well as the center of Taormina. I would return here anytime. We were enchanted by the fantastic view and wonderful nature around us. In a quiet environment, we were able to relax and make great trips. The accommodation has everything you need and is very comfortably furnished. We particularly liked the large glass front and the wall painting in the bathroom. Cinzia was very friendly, helpful and always available. The road to the courtyard is bumpy but easily doable.

Andrea and Paola’s apartment truly is a ‘window on the sea’ - the view wows you as soon as you open the front door! The apartment is comfy and well designed with everything you need for a short break. The area is lively. We found parking within 2 minutes walk (we stayed midweek in mid-May). It’s relatively easy to walk to Taormina along the bay and then on a footpath, just a short section without a pavement on a busy road. It takes about an hour. Communication pre and during our visit with Andrea and Paola was excellent …friendly, proactive, efficient. Instructions for access were top notch. Thank you Andrea and Paola.

Wonderful location and a pristine accommodation

We stayed with our son at Rosario and Mariela's house for 8 days. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Even before our arrival, Rosario accompanied us, gave us detailed information and helped and advised on every issue. Rosario was always available and helped with joy and goodwill. He always asked if we were missing anything. When we arrived, the best of Sicilian produce awaited us, including pastries, yogurt and milk, a six-pack of water and other products. Rosario allowed us to arrive early and leave later, according to our flight times. In addition, at the end he drove our son to the train station. In conclusion, when we come to Sicily again, we will be happy to return and will also recommend them to friends and acquaintances. As other have said, Domenico met as at the place and was very kind and helpful with Restaurants, Groceries etc. His place was as shown in the photo's and easily accommodated 2 couples.

This is the best apartment we've ever stayed in, anywhere.. The apartment is spectacular, it's so much better than the photos, it is huge and the quality of furniture and decor is absolutely excellent. The location is perfect, it manages to be just a few steps from the main streets of taormina, yet it's also really quiet and secluded, very rare to find. We were met by Monica, who handles the property for the host, she was absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful, and always available. It was my partners 40th birthday trip, and Monica even dropped off a surprise gift for her on the day, everything was above and beyond expectations. We had the best trip ever and if you are going to taormina, this is the place to stay, without question.

We spent 5 wonderful days at the listing. The accommodation is very well equipped, very well arranged, with 3 quality terraces, magnificent views on each of the three. Aretas was available and very helpful. Located between Etna, Catania and Taormina, this place is ideally located.

Salvo was an amazing host! He made me feel at home right away, whether it was showing me around the Airbnb or speaking to me about what was available in the area for me to see/eat. He gave me loads of recommendations during my stay and was on hand to help when needed. He’s incredibly friendly, very easy to talk to and a very genuine demeanour. He honestly made the solo part of my trip what it was because of how easy he made things, whether it was checking in early to providing me with suggestions to replying to messages through-out my stay. Started my Sicilian adventures with a 10/10 experience staying in Salvo’s Airbnb and I’m looking forward to coming back and staying there again as the location is perfect! Easy access to all of the main sites in Catania alongside restaurants and bars in the evening. Thanks again Salvo for everything!

Amazing stay in Taormina. A short walk and you’re in the heart of Taormina. Apartment itself was beautiful, clean, plenty spacious for two. The balcony offers a stunning view of the Ionian Sea. Easy check in. Angelo was very responsive. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We chose the place because it was affordable and reasonably close to Etna-south, where we booked a Tour. We enjoyed the stay, because the kitchen was nice and despite the cold weather we slept warm.

This en-suite room including a kitchenette matches the photos and the balcony is a bonus, where you can have a drink or a bite with a garden view. The location is great! There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and of course the seafront and promenade. I think this place was good value for money and the local recommendations were very helpful.

Our stay was amazing. the apartment was beautifully decorated, you could really tell they put a lot of work into it. very luxurious but still gave a very cozy and comfortable vibe. the hot tub was really the cherry on the cake. The location is perfect for people who are looking for a place where to relax but also have a bit of night life. lots of shops, bakery's and restaurants around where you can try all the typical sicilian food. The rocky beach is barely even a 10 minute walk and it's just simply stunning, you can smell the ocean breeze even from the apartment. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The location, amenities, and sleeping arrangements were perfect. The views from the top balcony were incredible and the jacuzzi was a perfect touch. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone.

The apartment was spotless and very central. Within walking distance of all the main tourist areas in Catania and the cathedral is literally 1 minute away. Some lovely restaurants nearby too. The roof terrace is a very big, fantastic outdoor space. Only downside was the noise from the bars at night, but to be honest, this stopped about midnight and most nights we enjoyed visiting them anyway.

Outstanding location for walking the downtown area of Catania. Lots of interesting sights and food options. Giuseppe was 'molto gentile' and a pleasure to deal with.

We had a lovely stay at Stefano’s place. Perfect location close to everything and we loved having a drink on the terrace before dinner. Would 100% recommend.

Nice spacious apartment in a very central place. Everything is on your doorstep. The hosts are fantastic are really responsive with any requests and went out of their way to help when one of our group needed to see a doctor.

Virginie was one of the most helpful and proactive hosts we have come across at airbandb. She made booking in really easy and gave us lots of really useful information about the area. The apartment itself was much bigger than we expected. It was 5 star - clean, comfortable, quiet, great facilities.
