Cottage vacation rentals in Fenland District

In stayed for a long weekend with my family. The house was lovely and perfect for me as the children could play in the conservatory. The garden was lovely and my boys really enjoyed being outside and playing. House was lovely and I would stay again.

Absolutely loved our two-night stay at Pitchers Barn. The cottage is exactly like the pictures, very clean and well kept, but the scenery is next to none and looks 1000x better in person. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere with a lot of privacy but there is plenty to do a short drive away.

Check in was really simple and directions to find the place were spot on. Communication was excellent and we felt that we could contact the owners if we needed to. We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider stopping again if visiting the area in the future. The house smelt freshly cleaned when we arrived and was in a peaceful location. It was great to have a small selection of toiletries as well as coffee/tea provided - thank you. Bed linen and towels were clean and smelt lovely.

By far, the best communication with a host I have ever experienced on Airbnb. The house was like home from home, very well equipped, the garden table / seating was perfect for breakfast in the sun (yes we was lucky with the weather) with the added bonus of a clean hot tub ! Quite a few reviews mention the ‘little touches’ and can confirm, the hosts go out of their way to make this a stress free visit - and make a special effort for the four legged family members too. The location was great, once parked up (10m from front door - note the drive is private access (another tick)) you can effectively leave the car parked for your stay. If however you need food supplies, there are several supermarkets within a five minute drive, so again, easy access to essentials ! The park itself was large, several lakes, and great for walking the dogs or getting the kids off of their gadgets to explore the woods and surrounding area (by the way, before the kids ask, good wifi within the property!).

The cart lodge was the perfect relaxing getaway, accommodation was spotless and we felt right at home. The spa was perfect, such great value for money included in the price. We will certainly be back. Thank you Tan 😄

We spent the weekend here for my sister in laws hen do and it was just perfect! From the moment I booked until the moment I confirmed we’d checked out and left, the service and communication given by Amanda was second to none. The house and area was amazing, the hot tub, garden, bedrooms, kitchen, everything was just perfect and we had the most wonderful stay! I would defo recommend others to stay here, especially when the weather is glorious as we spent most of our time in the garden and in the hot tub! Thanks Amanda and Adam, you were great hosts x

A lovely relaxing weekend at Russell Cottage, celebrating friend’s 50th’s. Very comfortable beds, lovely decor and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed, the welcome pack was a nice touch. Had a great dinner at Sculthorpe Mill, can recommend! Hot tub a little small for 4 but we managed :) but could have been a tad hotter, but other than that the place was perfect for us! Thank you Renata

We had a truly wonderful stay at Philip’s Airbnb! The space was immaculate – spotlessly clean, beautifully tidy, and incredibly cosy. It’s the perfect spot for a couple looking for a relaxing and fun break. The cottage is tucked away in a peaceful location near Newark, and just a short 30-minute drive to the lovely city of Lincoln – ideal for a day out exploring. Inside, the decor strikes a perfect balance between charming and modern, making it feel like a real home away from home. Although the weather wasn’t on our side and we didn’t get to use the hot tub, the log burner more than made up for it! It created such a warm and inviting atmosphere in the evenings – perfect for curling up with a glass of wine and unwinding. Philip was a fantastic host – friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a peaceful couples’ retreat in the countryside. Thank you, Philip!

We had a lovely time at Nick and Liz’s cottage with our kids. It was a great base to explore around Norfolk. The view across the fields was really peaceful. Liz was really helpful with local recommendations for pubs and places to explore.

Fabulous thatched cottage full of character & and in a great location for visiting Rutland Water. Very peaceful and easy parking right opposite. The cottage was squeaky clean and extremely comfortable. Sweet treats from the local bakery, fresh coffee and doggy treats were a really lovely touch. Highly recommend a stay at Bee Cottage, you won’t be disappointed.

Just finished an all too brief a stay at Daphnes Cottage. What a wonderful location and a fabulous home. It was more than we could have expected, the welcome pack was a much appreciated bonus. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in this beautiful area, it's peaceful but close enough to major road networks to be able to get where you want with ease. I had high hopes for Lucy’s cottage as the reviews have been amazing and I have to say I am also in absolute favour of this place! We had the most wonderful time, I could mention many things but there’s just too many! However here’s a few things, the cottage is super sweet and very clean, the location is delightful opposite a church, the garden is extremely well looked after and beautiful. 5 minute walk to the bakery then a little further distance to walk to the beach was perfect. A special mention to Lucy also as she’s really incredible to communicate with.

Cute little cottage with lots of character. We had a lovely stay with our pets with lots of local walks and a great local cafe which was dog friendly.

A wonderful bank holiday weekend spent at Curlew Cottage! Beautifully decorated and very cosy, the cottage is within walking distance of Heacham North and South beach, a Tesco express and a few different places to eat... fish & chips, takeaways etc. There is also a Lidl a 3 minute drive away. Sarah was very helpful and quick to reply to messages. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs, and Sarah made us feel right at home with a welcome basket and provided a dog bed and treats. The kitchen has everything you need, just watch out for the ceiling if you are tall! Upstairs the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom feels luxurious and modern with a bathtub and separate walk in shower. We would return in a heartbeat! Thank you, Sarah.

A very enjoyable stay indeed. The accommodation provided everything we needed and our host was always responsive. The bed linen was soft and the beds very comfortable indeed. We should be happy to recommend Constable Court to future guests.

Our first Air BnB and what a great little place. We live reasonably local so have travelled through Turvey numerous times and we only stayed one night as had to vacate our house for a kids party. The place was immaculate with lots of small touches, gadgets and everything you need (better equipped than a lot of other places we have stayed). We had a minor query which Philip was quick to respond even though he was away. Never tried the fireplace as the weather was so good but managed a beautiful walk out around the village and the surrounding countryside. Highly recommend.

If you’re thinking about it.. do it. We had a fab stay in this beautifully renovated cottage. Had everything we needed, lovely, helpful hosts, pool was wonderful. If I could give 10 out of 5.. I would! Thank you, we very much hope to return!

This was our second stay at Ruth’s and it was as lovely as we remembered. Ruth is a wonderful host. Her cottage is comfortable with everything you need for a fab stay (including very comfortable bed, quality bed linen and fluffy towels) and a very pretty garden space. The lovely fresh bread and milk on arrival was most welcome. We would absolutely recommend Ruth’s cottage to all.

We really enjoyed this accommodation. We didn't spend much time inside as we went for a walk, then to a wedding. It was really helpful having the fan as it was a very hot weekend. Being right in the centre of town was great; it was very quiet & perfect for our needs. Thank you!
