If, like me, you want a peaceful and relaxing stay in quiet and beautiful surroundings, then this is YOUR place. Everything was perfect. And like amazing Kiwi hosts, milk in the fridge and friendly and helpful! The scenery is just beautiful here, the birdsong and river and trees…..what a place!

Alana & Duncan’s Lodge was perfect for our stay back home in Fielding to see our whānau and family. Very well appointed dwelling, comfortable and all the added extras that make it feel like home. Even provided some toys for our children. The external grounds are lovely to play in, and the chickens very friendly. Alana was very responsive during our stay, and thought there were no expectations s from either party we thoroughly enjoyed bumping into each other one afternoon in the garden. Will certainly stay again. Thanks for having us!
