House vacation rentals in Farmington

This is such a beautiful place! Very spacious, very clean, and has wonderful amenities. It was a wonderful weekend to host my daughter and a few of her friends. We had tons of space, and this could not have been better! Tina is incredibly responsive and helpful. Fantastic host. I would love to stay again.

We have a large family living in four different states. We rented Kelsey’s house because it had enough beds and and entertainment spaces to accommodate our family for a reunion. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed the large kitchen, the pool house, the gym, and easy accessibility to local hiking. We only had one issue while we were there, which was there was a power outage and we lost our Internet. Kelsey was very helpful in resolving the issue quickly. The Internet is essential there, because we didn’t have regular cell service., But that’s what it’s like living out in the beautiful country!

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

Beautiful and clean house with top of the line amenities and many fun things to keep our friends and family entertained through out our stay. Would definitely recommend and rent the house again when we are in the area. Thx

This place is just amazing! I wanted a little getaway for my husband, me, and our 2 active German shepherds who do not have a big back yard at home. They were amazed! So happy! Such a beautiful property. Peaceful and tranquil. The first day was freezing cold and cloudy with rain later but we still had fun. Also great places nearby to walk on trails in the woods near Bantam Lake. The second day was warm and gorgeous. Cannot wait to come back when the pool is open! Kartik was super response and really nice. The house is very comfortable. We only used 1 BR, but there were lots of BRs! Thank you!

Easily one of the very best stays we’ve had anywhere. Absolutely flawless contemporary home. Furnishings, linens, beds, kitchen appliances and wares were all of the highest quality. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful. Quintessential New England unspoiled landscape of trees, rock, pond, and rolling hills. All within a few minutes of New Preston, one of the most quaint and picturesque towns in Litchfield County, including wonderful dining and shopping.

Anh’s place was clean, comfortable, and convenient to all the area attractions. Perfect for our weekend stay to visit our daughter.

Mark's house was the perfect location for our holiday this year. Kitchen was well-equipped, entire house was pristine floor to ceiling, and the little touches throughout the house like linens, blankets and decor made for a cozy and comfortable weekend. Location is great too. Mark is also a great communicator and was super helpful. Thank you Mark!

Chelsea’s place was absolutely gorgeous!! The lake house was beautiful! The lake was beautiful!!! The house was even better than I expected it to be. I loved this place and we will definitely be returning one day!! Thank you for the amazing weekend!!!

This was my 3rd or 4th visit to the Cedar House! I came up to attend my 50th high school reunion, and I was grateful that the dates I needed were open. Maryann and Jesse are wonderful hosts! If you have a question or a concern, they respond immediately! The house is ALWAYS spic and span! Maryann truly does have everything that you might need. But….if you do forget something the house isn’t far from great shopping and restaurants. I would like to keep this gem a secret, but everyone should be able to experience a relaxing wonderful stay at the Cedar House!

This house was as advertised and every expectation was met based on the listing details and previous guest's reviews. If only more of these little houses could be available as Airbnb rentals throughout the platform. Simple yet perfect.

Beautiful place and enjoyed our stay and would love to go back in the summer. I will say, dont judge a book by its cover; exterior could use some updating but the inside and property are gorgeous. The price was more than i think it should have been; marked up quite a bit for thanksgiving but we wanted something spacious and unique.

Lisa’s place was large enough for us to get together with extended family and feel right at home. Lisa always got right back to me if I had questions and she was very helpful.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Liza and her home. My coworker and I were in town for a work trip and there’s nothing more that you want at the end of the day than a cozy home. And this was just that! We felt so at home and most importantly felt CLEAN! The entire space was pristine. She even left our bathrobes and slippers for us with make up towels. She has all of the sweet personal touches to welcome you as well. She had a sign welcoming us with more than enough snacks and refreshments. I can say this is hands down the best experience I’ve ever had and we travel A LOT. And that’s just how amazing the host was! I didn’t even get to mention the views, the easy access to the River, the stunning patio, and the quiet and peaceful environment. You will absolutely never regret your stay here. All of the bedroom windows overlook the river and it’s such a beautiful way to wake up. Everything about this space and town is so charming. Thank you Liza!

Kirsten’s home was exactly what we needed for a two night stay.

This is such a lovely home in a terrific location. The home is absolutely immaculate and has whatever you could need. Carol was super quick to communicate and everything was as easy an can be! Only wish we had more time -- next trip! Highly recommend this sweet little gem!

Our stay was excellent. The owners were extremely responsive, although I hardly had to communicate with them because everything was so easy, and the information was provided in the listing or the document they provided to us a couple days before. We plan to be back, hopefully next winter. It was comfortable and felt so much like home. The location and privacy and beauty were stunning, both inside and out.

Our second year staying here and it felt like coming back to our home away from home! The house is spotless, beautifully decorated, secure, and conveniently located to our favorite places in Glastonbury. Perfect for our family of 4! Michael is a wonderful host who is very quick to respond and checkin to make sure everything is going well. We will certainly be back next autumn for our annual visit!

Jessie place was amazing! The home looks exactly like the photos. Me and my family enjoyed spending Thanksgiving there! The rooms are so clean and everything you need is at the house. The kitchen was the best part! Jessie had so many pots and pans we were able to use! I would give this place a 5/5 rating! I will definitely rebook again when I visit Connecticut next year!
