Jeannine’s home was an absolute gem! We had our annual girls weekend here and felt right at home. The house was so cozy and warm yet had ample space for me and the girls to sit and chat together. We loved that the house was lived in with family photos and mementos around, rather than being sterile like many other bnbs we’ve stayed in. There was also so much to do in the surrounding area! I would definitely recommend this stay :)

We had a wonderful girls weekend. Rebecca let us check in a little bit earlier which was nice. The living room is beautiful and comfortable to sit in and enjoy the scenery. The kitchen was well equipped. We did use the sauna and hot tub. Very relaxing. Some of the beds are a little older and not as comfortable, but we were fine for our short stay. Plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet paper. Would love to visit again when it is warmer for the pool. Thank you Rebecca.

My husband and I stayed with our 19-month-old son for three nights and it was a perfect choice! Susan had a toys and books that he loved, as well as a sandbox and pool outside - and the home was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We used the location as a jumping off point for other activities and then had quiet afternoons at the house while my husband rode his bike (we saw lots of other cyclists!). If you are vegan or vegetarian, check out the Shoreline Diner in Guilford - it was delicious.

Pat and Gabe were great hosts and accommodating to what we needed. Beautiful place, and we would love to stay with them again!

Hard to explain just how much we loved our stay!!! The location and amenities were beyond expectation. We were looking for a cozy place to meet (between PA and Mass) and just happened to settle on this listing. The house is super charming, has everything you could want and more, and the proximity to the brewery and hiking/biking/disc golf trails was a dream!! We will be planning future trips for sure!

The home was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. It's exactly as described but even more spacious than I expected. They put a lot into making guests feel welcome, including prompt communication, a quick walk through to explain where things are, numerous suggestions for the surrounding area, and even a tray of welcome cookies! I came for a 50k trail race, so the hot tub was a perfect added bonus. I HIGHLY suggest booking this property, and I'll definitely be back to spend some time at the beach.

such a cute place for a getaway! it was perfect and the host was extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and nice! also, don’t go grocery shopping before seeing the food that noelle has in the apartment! we underestimated the food that she provides. we definitely want to come back at some point for another trip :)

Stayed here while visiting family in Old Lyme. The location was easy to get to, a coffee shop right down the road, and the unit was really cute and had a lot of great amenities like Alexa and cute fairy lights. Would stay here again!

Great stay at the farmhouse! It was the bottom floor. We only needed two of the three rooms. The bathroom was in the back with the kitchen. It’s an old house but very modern interior. Just what we needed!

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

The 2 bedrooms suite is super spacious like your dream home to go with everything handy, most of them are brand new. You wouldn't feel you are short of any little tools like scissors, tapes, rulers, cheese grader... to name a few. Brian is also very responsive, considerate, helpful gentleman who is easy to talk to. Many thanks to Brian for your neat comfortable one-week accommodation!! it’s one of my life memory!!

Very eclectic and large space with unique décor. Close to all the action but in a quiet neighborhood. This makes a great place for dogs and it is very dog friendly. Pam very responsive to any questions and issues.

Monica was responsive, helpful, flexible and even accommodated me after I initially and accidentally booked for the wrong date. Located near Wesleyan University and its Main St, it allowed us to spend time with students and to enjoy amazing food cooked in Monica’s very well stocked kitchen. We loved the island in the center as it made cooking as a team easy. We spend Thanksgiving with our child and their friends as a result. 😊 The layout of the home, with bedrooms down the hall and the central living area at the other end, allowed for entertaining friends at one end and rest at the other. We loved that it was a single level. Parking was easy and free. Lighting was also perfect inside and out and we felt safe. I highly recommend Monica’s home and plan to return again.

We had a wonderful stay at Todd's place! Todd greeted us warmly and was very responsive. The pool was fantastic and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a serene spot to relax. We stayed in the pool apartment, which looked out at the pool and stunning backyard. It was well-equipped with a kitchen, pool towels, a TV, couches, and a dining table. Wendy, Todd's wife, welcomed us with cookies, and they provided milk, orange juice, eggs, yogurt, and fruits. There was also a grill available. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the pool a lot. Despite being a shared pool, there was plenty of space and time for everyone. We also used the tennis court and played some basketball at the basketball rink there. Todd and Wendy made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend their place!

Stephen’s place was perfect for our work trip. The area it’s in is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Stephen was an amazing host- he immediately brought us a new blender as soon as we notified him that the one at the house was broken. Also, the beds were super comfy. My only complaint is that a lot of the dishes in the kitchen weren’t very clean (probably due to the previous guests). Otherwise, our stay was perfect!

Sue was a wonderful hostess. She left us fresh pastries, milk, eggs and water. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend the Pool House to anyone wanting a nice comfy stay.

This was our third stay at Marybeth's, everything was great, as usual. The unit is spacious, clean, and very conveniently located.

Bekim’s place was perfect for my longer term stay! Clean, spacious and in a safe neighborhood. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Hartford area!

This place really is a gem. The bedroom and bathroom and spacious and have everything you need. The kitchen is small and can be challenging to work in, but the outdoor grill and dining space make up for that. We spent most of our time outside by the private pool relaxing. James and Margie were great hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and were so friendly and warm. They even brought fresh-bakes cookies. We had a great time!

Sweetbrier Farm was the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving. The house is beautiful inside and out, well-equipped for home cooking, and extremely cozy with an amazing fireplace that provided hours of cozy lounge time. We would love to return in the summer months as the outside areas and sun porch are so inviting! Would recommend Elizabeth's place to anyone looking for a fun, yet peaceful New England getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Alice's 2 bedroom apartment. It was centrally located to the areas we went to see. It was a really nice setting, quiet, very clean and spacious, and in a very nice and safe neighborhood. We felt right at home and had all the amenities we needed. Communication with Alice was great. She is a wonderful host, and we will stay there again when in the area.
