I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb on the Gaia side of Porto. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, stylish, clean, and in a perfect location. The views were stunning from every window, especially at sunset when you can watch the sun dip below the water and the Luís I Bridge. It felt like having a front-row seat to one of Porto’s most iconic views. Pedro was a fantastic host and communicative, helpful, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Porto and would absolutely stay here again!

Maria’s place was fabulous, she communicated well in advance advising that she couldn’t meet us but arranged a friend to see us in her apartment. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood which we love. After sightseeing in the Porto this retreat was worth coming to. Walking distance to the waterfront which on our first night we got to see a fantastic sunset. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, thank you so much for Nescafé pods. I enjoyed my quiet time enjoying my cup of coffee with an ocean view. Amenities were all walking distance, pastries, groceries, and restaurants. Thank you Maria, if in the Porto will come back and advise friends and family of your apartment.

The view from the balcony is so beautiful, it's intoxicating.The facilities are very complete, clean and tidy, the three bedrooms just meet our needs, we had a pleasant two days here. A local friend from Portugal, who has been to Porto many times, was also happy to see the view from this balcony. I will stay here again when I come to Porto in the future, and I have already introduced it to my friends. There are two things to note, the two bedrooms, the door is not very useful, and the bedroom in the attic does not have a separate door, the problem is not big.

The location of this beautiful building is excellent with an amazing view of the the Ribeira plaza and the Duoro River. The plaza is busy all day and late into the night with people all over, street performers and loud music you can enjoy from the apartment’s balcony. The noise level is not for a light sleeper. During our stay, one night I woke up at 1:30am to fireworks across the river. The host is was very nice and helpful answering questions and providing information.

Magnificent site with views of the river. Great place for children to play with pool and secure play area. House accommodation is homely with comfortable beds. Very secure and accessible local amenities.

Rafael's place is absolutely gorgeous! On arrival, he gave us a warm tour and shared the property's history—fascinating. It's beautifully restored, surrounded by trees offering total privacy. His dad keeps bees nearby (we could’ve visited) and grows cherries, lemons, and oranges—he encouraged us to help ourselves, and they were delicious. The property was perfect for two, with a well-appointed bathroom, living area, and a private pool—compact but fits four comfortably. Rafael was super attentive and responsive, a brilliant host who clearly takes pride in the place. A few minor notes: the pool has no cover or hoover, so needs a quick skim due to nearby trees (his dad cleans it regularly); there are only 3 loungers and 2 extra chairs at the front; and indoor seating isn’t the comfiest for four, with 2 chairs being wicker which differs from the listing. These aren’t real negatives—just things to note. Amazing value and we’d love to return when we're back in the area!

Outstanding property. Spotlessly clean, well furnished, looks recently renovated. Literally next door to a museum, at a really nice part of town. Thoroughly recommended.

This was a fantastic place to stay. A peaceful and serene location away from the hubbub of the big city. We really enjoyed our stay here. It had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the beautiful surroundings and there were trails along the river to walk and enjoy nature. We also drove to other towns such as Amarante and the other small villages which is always nice to visit. The hosts were fantastic and we really appreciated their flexibility in letting us check in early. We had a stressful time getting out of Porto, so we appreciated them letting us check in earlier to decompress. Thank you for everything.

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

Fantastic place, so very well equipped and great location. We loved it here and would love to stay again. We had a problem with the boiler when we arrived and Marta was quick To get it working again. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

The location is really fantastic, although you can't go to sleep before midnight on weekends in fine weather. The hustle and bustle on the promenade sometimes goes on until the early hours of the morning.

The view is great and the location is very good because it is close to the Moru Garden. The accommodation is more spacious than I thought, and the living room and kitchen are separate from the bedroom, so it's pleasant. As a property with this kind of view, the price is also affordable. However, the pillow was a little high and hard, so it was uncomfortable, and there was a limit to the use of warm water, so it was a pity that cold water came out when I showered for a long time. Still, overall, it was a very nice place to stay. I recommend it.

There were three of us women friends going to start the Camino Walk. It was the best experience. Philip let us check in early as we had a red eye from Toronto. Paula met us early and helped us check in. The condo is gorgeous. Perfect for us. So clean and do equipped. From the beautiful towels to the plates to the beach chairs. Everyone was wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more. ! Location location!

We have never experienced such a well-maintained, clean and well-equipped apartment. It corresponds 100% to the photos. There is a large underground parking lot. The landlord Manuel took care of things proactively and asked several times if everything was okay. The location is right on the main beach of Esmoriz, separated only by the waterfront road. However, it should be noted that at the end of August, a fair takes place right in front of the house with corresponding volume in the afternoon and evening.

Second visit to this property. Would highly recommend . Close to all amenities 👍

I had an amazing stay at Chris’ Airbnb. The apartment is in walking distance of great restaurants, the river and Sao Bento train station. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities, I felt right at home. I highly recommend staying at Chris’ Airbnb when visiting Porto.

Maria Jesus and her husband were charming, their house is very cozy and practical, there is everything, we loved it. We just needed a little more sun to enjoy the terrace, which is the best. Thank you for everything, we hope to return. Warm regards

It was an excellent stay. excellent facilities, very friendly on the part of Peter and his wife, the house is very good, excellent cleanliness 👍👍👍👍 very close to the beach, Malafaia and very good access, balcony overlooking the sea. If I go back to the north, it will be my home of choice. I loved it

Montserrat is a charming woman, she explained everything very well and her house is beautiful as well as being very well equipped, I'm sure if we have the chance we'll be back!
