Family-friendly vacation rentals in Fairwater

Victoria was incredibly communicative, couldn’t ask for any more. The property is clearly the family home, in a lovely area of Cardiff - conveniently located for an 8 minute train journey into the city centre.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Lydia was amazing and super response we got stuck in traffic and arrived later than expected but Lydia was still happy to greet us. The hot tub was lovely and warmed up for our arrival 😁Everything we needed was there for us 🙌🏻 We had the most relaxing and peaceful stay to celebrate my partners 40th. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back 🥰

Great house in the best possible location in Cardiff ideal for a long weekend/break. Sian was extremely helpful, making the arrival process extremely easy and always willing to assist with any request/question that we had. Very happy to recommend the house and host!!!

6 of us stayed here for taking part in the Dragon ride. Perfect location for this as it's a straight road to the start. The accommodation was everything you'd expect from a farm cottage, quirky, nice layout and great facilities. Easy check in and out, what more do you need! Fantastic stay, would definitely recommend if you’re ever in Cardiff. Location was spot on, only a 15 minute walk into central. The hot tub was also a lovely touch! 10/10 would recommend

Great location with lovely views. We stayed for our wedding and Lucy was very accommodating with deliveries etc dropping things off in the morning. Lucy's place was very clean and had all the amenities you could want. A great place!

We’ve just returned from the most delightful short break in a beautiful college cottage tucked away in the heart of Wales. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort — tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of character. Surrounded by rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of nature, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. This little haven gave us the peace and quiet we craved, along with the warmth and welcome of a truly special place. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our return xx

What a lovely little country retreat, peaceful and restful yet with plenty to do on your doorstep. The walk to the country pub, through the village was a highlight. The kids loved the horses, rope swing and of course jacuzzi. We will definitely stay again.

Mike was the perfect host, very friendly and helpful, even gave us a bottle of wine as we arrived very late and to save us from having to find the nearest Tesco Express which was due to close. The accommodation is spotless spacious and even though you are sharing his place you only see Mike if you want to. There was some milk and fresh orange juice in the fridge on arrival so coffee in the morning great. Mike is a wonderful host and I’m sure everyone who stays with him will have a very pleasant stay

We’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb places over the years and Oak Farm is up there with the best. We had a fantastic week with Alicia & Chris being excellent and friendly hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable and they were very generous with their time and the extras they provided. The location is superb with outstanding views across the hills, we spent many happy hours sitting in the Sun loungers reading. It’s also a great location for exploring the wonderful hills around Abergavenny . Our dog loved it too with a secure area of woodland for him to play and explore we would love to return one day and will be recommending this place to our friends and family . Lovely quirky place , homely , Charlotte was very accommodating as we needed late check out and we had 2 dogs, would definitely recommend if you need a base for going in and out of the city

My son and my friend stayed the weekend absolutely loved the stay at Pete's hes a really great person to get with very helpful, Was always on hand should you need anything his home is really cozy and worm very clean beds lovely and soft had a great nights sleep, I would have no problem recommending staying at Pete's id say 6 stars as the packed over all is superb at a very fear price, We just cancelled are next visit of another Airbnb and have rebooked with Pete's lost have the money we had paid due to cancelling it put we feel Pete's home was the better option, Hospitality second to none it will now be are go to from now on, I strongly recommended Pete's home you will not regret staying in his lovey home, Cart wait for are next visit towards end of June

Great location, perfect for walks and plenty of options for food and drink. Comfortable, clean and quiet accommodation.

Needed a place to stay for our group of friends to watch the rugby, Danny's place was just what we needed, room for us all, & within walking distance, weather permitting, of millennium stadium, large taxis cheap enough, if not. Like staying at a mate's house but your mate's not there 🤣 Great pub about 10 minutes away, The Lansdowne. Easy check in & out. Danny was very responsive to all our needs.

We had a fab stay at the Lodge, it was a great base for a few days riding BPW and Dirt Farm. The house was really clean and well appointed with a large secure garage for bikes & van. Jamuna was very responsive in comms. We hope to stay again when next back biking @ BPW. Thanks!

Lovely cozy traditional cottage in great location for a short break. More spacious than anticipated from the photos, wish we could have stayed for longer. Welcoming and communicative hosts. Would recommend.

The barn is beautiful, and we immediately felt at home. Everything you need to feel comfortable and enjoy your stay is provided, and there's plenty to do with Cardiff being close by. Highly recommend!

We felt right at home during our 2-week stay. Lively neighborhood with several grocery stores, lots of restaurants and a bus stop nearby. City centre is about 25-30 minutes away by walking. Cathy and Donna were quick to answer all our questions. Hot water in the shower was a bit inconsistent sometimes, but otherwise, no complaints.

Tina and her partner Dom were amazing hosts. The flat is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Parking out the front of the house, easy access to Cardiff city by bus. Tina was kind enough to supply us with bread, milk, cold bottled water, jam, butter and porridge for no extra charge! Tina and Dom both made time for us - Dom even walked me down to the nearest bus stop even when he was busy. would definitely stay again. thanks to you both
