Amazing stay, had such a beautiful trip enjoying walks in the lakes, the big bath tub and the fire. The only slight downfall was the cockerel next door that woke us up from 4am, however after buying ear buds it was not an issue.

What an incredible place to stay. Gorgeous location and a really cosy cottage. Walks from the door are beautiful - with plenty of challenging hills to climb, as well as easier and more relaxing walks around Brotherswater (which is just minutes from the cottage). The perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a remote place to stay and relax, but still within easy driving distance of Windermere and Ullswater.

Stunning. The house is beautiful. The location and views are very special. The extra touches from Jayne just make even more special.

Fabulous apartment in Grasmere. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, beautifully decorated. Everything you need for a stay away from home . Excellent communication.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Our Airbnb was a thrill to arrive at! An old English manor that once housed the Wordsworth family welcomed us with a box of goodies and large rooms that overlookd the lake and waterfalls on the side yard (garden). We were over the moon enchanted by the lovely design of the home filled with comfortable areas to lounge in. We used the fireplace daily and loved being with each other playing cards, doing a puzzle, cooking, and watching movies after our daily long hikes. The weather was gorgeous everyday offering sunshiny skies that dazzled the mountains and lakes. Our host, Kate, promptly answered any questions we had. We highly recommend this beautiful place conveniently located in Grasmere and sure hope we can return again!

The location is fantastic, absolutely stunning and peaceful. Diane was very kind to let us in a touch early, which we appreciated. We loved being surrounded by the sheep and having a visit from the Alpacas in the garden. I would recommend this to anyone that fancies an escape from the hustle and bustle!

URC is an absolute gem - beautifully renovated and presented whilst honouring its history. The comfortable rooms, amenities and log fire were very welcome after a days’ walking. Dylan had thought of everything, down to dog treats for our Pointer, George. Our stay was a joy, thank you - we hope to be back sometime

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. It was such a peaceful and cosy place to relax for a long weekend in the Lakes. So many great walks nearby and only ever a short drive from nearby towns and villages. Victoria was a great host and even baked us some shortbread for arrival which was a lovely touch. Would 100% stay again.
