Family-friendly vacation rentals in Fairbanks North Star Borough

Colleen was great and the cabin is exactly as shown in the photos; it was well appointed and very enjoyable. You can see all the way down to Fairbanks and the Denali range area from the front porch. As it was cloudy for much of our stay, we also explored up to Murphy Dome (snowing), the Bison Range area outside of Delta Junction (the DJBR, interesting) and the Chena River Lake Rec Area (also a nice walk - watching for moose on top of the levee was good), along with heading up the Chena River and resort there. Colleen was super helpful in suggesting areas to hike. We saw 11 moose and a porcupine, along with Aurora on our very last night (at a Kp of 3). It was a wonderful trip!

The place is better than the pictures. Very comfortable with families with kids. Great bathrooms, space, clean and very-well stocked. One of the best airbnbs I've stayed at.

Such a beautiful and comfortable place and beautiful area. Very quiet, peaceful and calming after a nice day out in the cold! Alicia is wonderful and any questions or needs that we had, she replied quickly. I stayed here with my niece, her husband and their 9 year old daughter and everyone loved it (nice and comfy 3 bedrooms!) and they loved the hot tub! Close enough to many things (ie dog sledding, reindeer walk, restaurants, etc) and the drive to here was always beautiful! Would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you Alicia!

3 girlfriends and I recently stayed here and could not have been happier with the place. It’s cozy and quiet with beautiful views and plenty of hospitable touches. Colleen was very easy to get ahold of with great communication.

Absolutely beautiful view of the lake and great place to see the northern lights. Our star link worked well there and ATT service was good. We had everything we needed.

Definitely a nice little getaway from North Pole. Perfect little space to just unwind and unplug. The outside shower was probably my favorite part if I’m being honest. Loved getting to meet the owners. ❤️ we will definitely be back.

we had a great time at mari's place! the cabin was so cozy and comfortable. the bathroom and kitchen were also very clean. at nights, we could also see the aurora when the skies were clear!

Had a great stay! Lily was very helpful with the resources on how to track auroras. Her place is outside the city in a peaceful area which perfect for aurora sightings. House had all the amenities and she was very proactive with some of the requests we made.

this was a very comfy and clean very nicely decorated and all we needed was available. I did refer few co workers n shared the experience as well. if possible I would and will stay again. ty

The cabin was exactly what our family hoped for. It was in a prime location for relaxation as well as family friendly. Everyone loved the homey decor and clean facilities. I would highly recommend this location for families visiting Fairbanks!!! The northern lights visible here were the icing on the cake!

Desire get 10 *s from us! We stayed for 2 weeks and hated to leave. The house had absolutely everything our own home has and anything else one may need-and more. The coffee bar was amazing! We love to cook rather than eat our and the kitchen had everything we needed, including all the spices. The location was perfect, literally a few minutes from everything in town in a quiet neighborhood. Desire always responded quickly and her recommendations were spot on. If you can get a reservation, you should definitely stay with her!

Great place, well appointed kitchen to cook my meals, very clean and most of all roomy and comfortable. Quiet location which met all my needs while in the area. Would highly recommend it and would love to come any time.
