We had a wonderful stay at the cottage over Christmas. Glenda gave great directions and check in instructions, with dinning recommendations. She was very helpful throught the stay. The cottage was perfect, it was exactly as the photos, stylish, welcoming and luxurious. We didn't want to leave. Glenda had also gone the extra mile with lots of fabulous touches. We felt so welcome and the were overwhelmed with the gorgeous Christmas decorations, a lovely surprise. It was also well appointed, so many thoughtful details. We loved the butter dishes, lamps and artwork. Everything was very considered, clean and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. Great location and brilliant pizzas at the pub, just a walk away. There was a little park for the boys and the local shop in the neighbouring village was well stocked. We loved it and would love to stay again. Fantastic break, thank you so much. The perfect cottage escape.

We stayed here as we were going to a wedding and wished we were staying for 2 nights! The cottage was perfect for the 5 of us and exceeded our expectations. Parking was easy in the Firehouse car park behind the cottage and it would have been lovely to have a meal there if we’d had more time. We would love to stay again!

My other half and I returned from a 3 night stay at Helen's beautiful cottage on Friday 25th April 25. We had a wonderful stay, the cottage is stunning and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen was big and spacious and as I say was equipped with everything you need. The bed was super comfy, a few of the best nights sleep for a while! The surroundings of the cottage are just simply idilic, the views are stunning and waking up in the morning with horses in the field next to us was lovely! The back garden of the cottage is big and has some fun things for children and some relaxing sun loungers on offer for the adults. The hot tub was an added bonus, i would definitely recommend getting up to watch the sunrise from the hot tub, simply blissful! Helen's gorgeous dogs next door were the icing on the cake, they are beautiful and so friendly. We were super lucky to have even met the 11 puppies Helen had when we stayed. We will definitely be returning, thank you Helen!😊

A lovely house in beautiful surroundings! We had everything we needed come rain or shine. The best bit about it was that we didn’t need a car. We arrived by train and bus and everything was on our doorstep- shops and pubs in easy walking distance. The tram is a fun way of reaching the coast and there are footpaths everywhere! David was a fantastic communicator and responded rapidly to every annoying question that I had!

Two Pound cottage was just adorable and probably the coziest place we’ve ever stayed! The little village of Lustleigh was picture perfect and it was fabulous to have the pub, tearoom and grocery shop less than a minute away. The house has everything you need including an indulgent soaking tub! The location was a great jump off spot for Dartmoor National Park plus endless walking paths from the doorstep. We will be back!

Nestled into beautiful countryside the property has all you need for a lovely stay. So many footpaths all around lead to beautiful walks. Arriving in April to see the primulas, wood anemones, aconites, and violets covering every bank was heavenly. The bluebells were just starting to open too. And just a short drive to the Jurassic coast what more could you ask. Also loved all the farm shops around.

A lovely cottage in a perfect location. Easy to spend a weekend here without using your car once you’ve arrived. Local pubs and cafe are great and it’s just a short walk to the beach where the Charmouth Heritage Centre is. It’s a brilliant base for exploring the area. We walked to Lyme Regis and back along the beach to Charmouth, played skittles at The George and ate at The Royal Oak which is 2 min from the cottage. The welcome pack and refreshments were fantastic - possibly the best we’ve experienced! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

My friends and I had a great weekend stay at Vine Cottage. Communication with Gill and George was great and the one issue we had regarding the heating was sorted straight away. Vine Cottage is just as described and was lovely and clean on arrival and perfect for four friends to spend a weekend together.

It was about a 25 minute drive to Lyme Regis and a great location for exploring the area! Alison’s communication was extremely quick throughout our stay and the check in was really clear and simple. We loved this cottage. It was close to the centre but it’s position made it feel tucked away from the main village. We loved the views and the feeling of spaciousness that looking down across the village gave us. We loved the cosy living room and the log burning effect gas fire was very realistic. The larder was very convenient for extra storage as we cooked every evening we stayed. We hope to come and stay again.

Spotlessly clean hideaway. So peaceful yet minutes walk from the centre of Dawlish. Completely safe walled garden for the dogs. Train station 5min away, great coastal scenery in all directions. Nice walk to Dawlish Warren and plenty of places to eat and drink. 3 generations and suited us all. Would highly recommend.

Communication with Mark was great. The house is really lovely, as described, and the oak extension is great. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and our 3 year old grandchild slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you Mark.... we definitely would like to return.

We loved our stay! Beautiful cottage that was superbly clean, lovely location with plenty to do nearby (within 20mins or so drive, plus greatwalks and pubs on the doorstep). We bumped into the hosts a couple of times and they were really friendly. Normally as a family we like to stay in diffeent properties when we head away but we are already exploring dates to return here in the Summer.

A really cosy and comfortable cottage in a beautiful location in east Devon. Was very simple to get to Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton, and there was also lovely areas to walk arouns right by the cottage. Cottage nicely spacious and had everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay at Janet's. We went to visit family for a few days locally and booked last minute. Janet was very responsive, answered all questions and greeted us on arrival. Grandad's cottage is lovely, very well presented and was ideal for what we needed. It was great that we could take our dog. We didn't use the tennis courts or do any walking as we were very busy. The location is great and the parking is secure and spacious. Highly recommend Janet's place.
