Our beautiful, minimalist Tiny House is a comfortable home base for tourists and business travelers. For leisure you are minutes from Lady Bird Lake and in the heart of the East Side entertainment. The Tiny House is also connected to 1GB WiFi. We look forward to hosting you in the heart of East Austin, just 1.5 miles from the convention center, and 10 minutes from the airport. We are kid friendly (pac n play, toys, high chair available), and accept dogs for an additional one-time fee of $25.
The Kanga Tiny House comfortably sleeps two people, sharing a queen bed. If you are traveling with a third person, or simply need extra sleeping space, we have a twin-sized air mattress available for you to borrow, or a pac'n'play for a little one. (Please ask for this in your reservation request if you need it). Floor space is limited, so we may rearrange furniture to comfortably accommodate your group. Check-in time is 3pm or later. Access is through a keyless lock for which you'll be provided a code prior to approval, so late night check-ins are not a problem. Check-out time is 12pm. Dogs are permitted on a case-by-case basis for an additional per visit fee of $25, and approval must be obtained ahead of a booking being made. The fee will be added to the booking through a booking alteration/special offer. In cases of Instant Books, we'll submit a request for pet fee payment through the Airbnb system. Guests must keep their dogs supervised at all times when in the yard, leashed when outside the yard, and must pick up after them. The Kanga Tiny House is roughly 200 square feet, and features: - AT&T GigaPower Internet (through Airport Extreme) - We do not have a TV but you can certainly stream your favorite shows with your own streaming services account (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon). - USB Charger for your devices - Wireless Charging Pad from Ikea (your device must be wireless enabled) We keep the place well stocked with all of the basics, as well as extra towels and blankets. We are: - 15 minutes (6.6 miles) from Austin Bergstrom International Airport, - 5 minutes (1.5 miles) from the Austin Convention Center, - Approx. $6 or $7 Uber/Lyft ride from downtown, - 1.7 miles to Austin's famous Rainey Street bar and restaurant district. We recommend taking Uber/Lyft unless you feel like a 30 minute walk, - 3 blocks away from the Lady Bird Lake trailhead on Pleasant Valley, for walking/biking/running (by Longhorn Dam). If you enjoy exploring on foot, or alternative transit options like bikes and buses, this is a good spot for you. You'll be just one block away from Cesar Chavez St, a major thoroughfare that goes into downtown, where there's an eclectic mix of dining, drinking, retail, services, gas stations, and single family homes. We're only a few short blocks from the Lady Bird Lake trail and head over Longhorn Dam, which pops you out onto a hiking, biking, and running loop that is several miles long. The boardwalk over the lake provides great views of downtown. There are plenty of things in walking distance, and we recommend looking at our Guidebook for more details. Our favorites for food & groceries: - JuiceLand on E Cesar Chavez, a smoothie & juice spot, approx. 3 minutes away - Tacos Guerrero on Cesar Chavez & Pleasant Valley, fantastic breakfast tacos for only $2 a piece - La Barbecue on E Cesar Chavez (we recommend preordering, at least 5 days in advance, to save yourself a couple of hours in a long line for the best brisket in town). - Kemuri Tatsu-Ya, 1.5 blocks away, fantastic Texas & Japanese fusion food - Juniper, 1 block away, a small plates restaurant with great cocktails - Counter Culture on E Cesar Chavez, a vegan restaurant, 2 blocks away - Blue Owl Brewing, a sour-mashed beer micro brewery, 1 block away - Juniper, a classy Italian restaurant with great wine and outdoor seating, 1 block away - HEB on E 7th, a grocery store, approx. 10 minutes away - Hi Hat on E 6th, a gastropub, approx. 15 minutes away - Counter Cafe on E 6th, a breakfast & lunch diner, approx. 15 minutes away - Launderette on Holly St at St Martinez Jr St has one of the best burgers in town plus a tasty rotating dessert menu. There are many more options for dining and services. If you prefer to drive to any of these you'll get there in less than 5 minutes. We are avid travelers ourselves, and love staying with AirBnB hosts any chance we get. We want to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, and are completely open to frank feedback on how to improve your time in the Kanga Tiny House.
The East Side is a wonderful, artsy, quirky place. It's still a little rough around the edges, as is the case in any gentrifying neighborhood. We always feel perfectly safe, and our street is well lit and comfortably "busy", while still being completely residential. We've never had issues with street parking.
  • My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying in the The Kanga. Anna was very prompt to respond to any questions I had before we arrived, and we were so well accommodated that we didn't need to reach out at all once we were there! Everything was very comfy, clean and true to expectations. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Austin again!

    Jen2015-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Anna and Chad were great hosts!! The place is a lot of fun, comfortable and very quiet. I love the east side of Austin and they are right in the heart of it! Definitely would recommend their bungalow to anyone :).

    Frank2015-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Prior to our check in, we were notified that the Kanga was ready and we could come early if we wanted to. When we arrived, it was neat & clean (and so cute), complete with various snacks & supplies. There were plenty of towels and more stuff than we can list. Anna and Chad have done a great job of supplying the house with amenities that guests may appreciate. Both of them were friendly and helpful in telling us about the area & places to check out. We were comfortable and felt safe in this location. The patio provided an enjoyable spot for morning coffee & conversation. We appreciated the genuine hospitality and hope to return at some point in the future. This was the best Airbnb experience we have had. (Thanks for the ice!)

    Karen2015-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and I felt very welcome. The Kanga was a cute, clean tiny home. I didn't like parking down the street . I would only suggest they put in wifi and a television. The neighborhood was eclectic but near a lot of restaurants and bars that are great.

    Rebecca2016-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable. Loved the porch, loved the layout. It never felt small and I am sure the subtle but vital windows help make it feel so open. The shower and shower pressure were great. I very much enjoyed its location in East Austin. Just a quick bike ride to all that you need to do in East Austin and Austin. Snacks, yogurts and beers were a nice touch. Easy check-in and checkout. Bravo to these hosts!

    Marilyn2015-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Such an adorable little house! Very clean and well stocked; I was very appreciative of the fresh fruit as well as the spare deodorant. Anna was also very accommodating and went above-and-beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of. I would highly recommend staying here and I definitely intend on bringing my wife back.

    Brian2016-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • A very clean and comfortable location. Easy to get to most places in the downtown and surrounding area very quick. And the owners are excellent hosts.

    Jace2018-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second time staying at Anna and Chad's place, and it was wonderful as always. Definitely would stay here again!

Lofted craftsman cottage in the heart of central east Austin. Located less than a mile from UT and 1.5 miles to downtown. The cottage has an open and comfortable vibe with natural light against the custom woodwork and vaulted pine ceilings.
Completely renovated, open and modern cottage with loft in central east, atx. The cottage has been restored over the past couple of years and is essentially a new house on the inside. The interior has a vaulted tongue and groove pine ceiling with a loft, hardwood floors, tiled bathroom, and relaxed open atmosphere. Cottage is centrally located less than a mile from ut and the state capitol and 1.5 miles from downtown. The MLK commuter rail train station is directly across the street from the house and is one stop from downtown. Bennu (the local 24 hour coffee shop) is a couple of blocks away, as are restaurants, bars, etc. on Manor road (within walking distance). Check out my guide for restaurants and such in the area. The house has central ac/heat, high speed wireless internet, cable tv, washer/dryer, tankless water heater, full kitchen, w/ coffee maker/coffee etc. Super comfy queen size bed with 400 thread count linens, lots of comfortable pillows, and fresh towels in the bathroom. The house has a ton of windows and can be bright and sunny with the blinds open letting in the natural light, or cozy and dark with the blinds closed and lights dimmed against the interior woodwork. The cottage is furnished with a mix of mid century and custom pieces. The loft has a sofa that converts to a full size bed and can accommodate 2 extra people. There is also a unique outdoor seating area with vintage wrought iron furniture that's been re-done with comfortable cushions. Is a nice hang out space for relaxing and enjoying coffee or drinks with friends. The area also includes a grill for whatever you'd like to cook up. Is difficult to portray the comfortable vibe of the house in the pictures. I'm the iphone photographer so pics are a bit rudimentary and hardly do the house justice. I also live on the property in the adjacent back cottage. I'm a native Texan and long-time Austinite that can give you insight and recommendations about the city according to what you're seeking, but am just as happy to not cross paths as the cottage is pretty autonomous. The house is super convenient to all things in central Austin and is a great place to relax and recharge during your stay. A bit of history from the Austin Historical Commission about the cottage - "these cottages were built by the Calcasieu Lumber Company of Austin as small dwellings in the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) s and (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) s. Founded in the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) s, Calcasieu Lumber Company was Austin's first lumber yard. The company had standardized plans, and provided all the materials, even the crews for the construction of these houses on an owner’s site. The Calcasieu cottages are unique to Austin, and have a signature Romantic Tudor Revival style, with steeply pitched hipped roofs – many residents have long referred to them as “fairy tale cottages” because of their soaring rooflines. Calcasieu manufactured these cottages through the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) s, but stopped with this romantic Tudor Revival style prior to World War II. The Calcasieu Lumber Company was an Austin institution, and their cottages represent a uniquely Austin manifestation of an architectural style that is found nowhere else in the country. Maintaining them in Austin is extremely important." This property is in compliance with the City of Austin's Short Term Rental ordinances. Lic# (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) OL
The most eclectic, interesting neighborhood in the city. Walk, bike, or take a cab downtown. Houndstooth is 1/2 block away for the best coffee in town. The rail station is across the street and downtown is one stop away. Skylark lounge is a must.
  • Brad's house was so warm, comfortable, and inviting. It was quite cold while we were visiting, so we pretended that this cottage was actually a ski lodge, given it's warm wood interior. Brad's communication was quick and friendly. The house is a 4 minute walk to the light rail and is smack in the middle of a bunch of different bus lines, so getting into downtown isn't all that tough. Take the 10 minute walk to Manor Rd. for Thunderbird Coffee House, In.gredients, and Dai Due. There's another double bed in the loft, so this house would have been perfect for 4 guests if we had more folks with us.

    Sara2015-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place was super cool. Small cottage in a quiet neighborhood, only a few miles from Congress St. Super clean, comfortable bed, and cold A/C. The coffee was a nice touch too. Brad was super helpful, and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

    Josh2014-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time! The cottage was comfortable and beautiful! Great location. Brad was very responsive and friendly.

    Adriana2014-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot! The photos represent the space well and Bradley does a great job setting it up for arrival. Close to transit options and a nice neighborhood to explore. Definitely recommend!

  • Amazing very helpful and responsive Brad was very kind enough to share his dwelling which was amazing gorgeously constructed very comfortable very cozy felt like home

  • Brad's cozy cottage was just that! Squeaky floors, perfect lighting to set whatever mood your in, tiny nook upstairs for extra guests or a fun little movie watching experience with your honey. The location is far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of the South Congress madness but still near a hub of the hip Austin everyone comes to enjoy. Check the leather bound book for past more personable air bnb-er reviews and tips. Would and will stay at brads place again.

    Lindsay2015-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Brad's cabin is awesome! We stayed there for two nights in December and warmly recommend the place :) it's close to down town but quiet and charming. As a regular AirBnbr, I especially liked how well equipped the cabin is - from a clothing iron to basic cooking stuff and coffee and milk (!!!). The place is very special and I'm certain any guest would agree :)

  • Jason was a great host. His instructions were very clear as to how to get into the apartment/complex. The listing was just as described and a very nice place at that. Extremely well kept and a comfortable home. We were pooped one night, so we stayed in, had pizza and watched some of the movies he has in his collection. The neighborhood comes off as a little rundown at first, as it is on the edge of downtown and residential East Austin. It seems as though it is being quickly developed. Regardless, it is 2 blocks from the happening 6th St strip, which was extremely fun and convenient. Great place and I highly recommend staying here.

    Noah2015-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jason was a fantastic host that made our first time visiting Austin such a breeze. His loft is beautiful and is walking distance to the attractions on 6th street. It's also half a block away from some very tasty food trucks! I've already recommended his place to my friends, and I would love to stay here again.

The location is perfect as there are tons of cool bars and restaurants within walking distance. Other parts of town are just a very short cab or uber away. Jason was very quick to respond to all my questions and made this a very easy booking. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Austin area!

  • Bill is an amazing host! From the greeting card, to the decorations, to the environment of the property, and Bill himself. Everything was amazing and I can tell Bill genuinely cares about his guests from all of the little details he puts into his place. Will definitely stay here again in the future when I visit Austin.

    Samuel2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. What an amazing place and gracious host. The Hideaway felt like our personal five-star hotel. Truly exceptional. Serene, beautifully appointed, comfortable. Easy walking distance to South Congress Street.

    Denise2016-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • Bill was a fantastic host; he was there when we arrived to help sort out any confusion. The house was beautiful; nicely decorated and very comfortable. The beds were SO comfortable, too! The best part? The neighborhood. Walkable to South Congress Street with a ton of restaurants and little shops, and not far from the Downtown area either!! I definitely plan on visiting again in the spring or summer so that i can take advantage of the gorgeous pool!

    Julia2017-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Bill’s place was so great! As soon as we pulled in we immediately felt a sense of peace, I’m so grateful for the tranquil and serene setting. We enjoyed our stay even more than expected, and plan on booking this zen paradise again soon! Thanks Bill!!

    Jessica2018-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Bill's place was gorgeous!!! The most comfortable bed i've ever stayed in. The pool looked awesome but it was freezing temp outside so we'll have to come back later and use it! Good thing we already have another booking for this place lol. Bill was so communicative and everything went really smoothly. Loved it! Thx Bill!

    Christine2017-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • I had only one night in Austin and Bill's place was a perfect alternative to a hotel room. It is located in a very quiet, scenic neighborhood on tree-lined streets. It feels like a retreat and yet you are only blocks from the action of South Congress. The decor is amazing as you can see from the pictures and the beds and linens were very comfortable.

    Teal2017-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place to stay. The setting is great, the pool is so charming and relaxing, and if you are a design/art lover you will be in heaven. Lots of fun colors and art work. One thing to be aware of is you will need to carry bags to the space from the driveway and up the stairs. No problem for us.

  • The cabana is great! We were headed to Austin for a football game and this was a great location! It was a 15 minute walk from front door to seats. The amenities provided are great. Comfortable bed, nice sized bathroom, great TV with tons of channels. The whole place is up to date and modern. Jason was great to work with and everything was exactly as he promised. I definitely recommend this property!! 5 Stars!!

    Matt2012-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great and adorable, and I love how well the space has been maximized! There is now a very nice deck in the backyard also. My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend, and it was a perfect size for the two of us. Jason was very flexible with our check-in and check-out time and was very responsive. Since he didn't have anyone staying there the night before we arrived, we are able to check in at 10am. It is very close to everything, it's easy to get to, and it's a quick uber ride to downtown. I'd definitely stay here again!

    Spencer2015-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • It's a great location and a great space! It's got plenty of room and it's very clean. Justin was more then a gracious host in dealing with my loud group. Thank you!

    alexander2015-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jason reached out the day before we arrived and provided all the information needed for check-in and everything was very accurate. We loved East Austin and the cabana was close to numerous restaurants, coffee houses and juice bars. There's also several great bars and shops in the area. The cabana was super cute, clean and modern. The backyard is perfect for hanging; with chairs, a grill and strung lights. We'd highly recommend it and would love to head back for round two. :)

    Molly2015-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jason made us feel very welcome And was very responsive to our needs. This place was perfect for my husband and I and we had enough room. We were very close to great restaurants and bars. We felt very safe in the neighborhood.

    Analisa2016-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first AirBnB experience and I loved this place! Great home to escape from the Texas heat, plenty of room to sprawl out and make yourself comfortable, and close enough to downtown that catching a ride to and from whatever you're doing isn't a problem. Jason lives right next door so if you need to talk to him about anything, it's very easy to get recommendations or have him look into a problem for you. I called him about a minor problem one night of my stay, the next morning he came over and took care of the problem and even bought me breakfast tacos to make up for it! He's a great guy with a great place, I would definitely stay there again.

    TJ2015-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the East Side Cabana was great! Jason was easy to communicate with and made the process of checking in/out super easy. The cabana is well appointed and has a great outdoor space for enjoying the afternoon sun! Definitely a good location for walking and Uber-Ing to local fun destinations!

THE SPACE This home features 2 bedrooms with QUEEN memory foam mattresses, 2.5 bathrooms, outdoor dining, and an open floor plan. We provide a QUEEN size air mattress as well for larger parties. Amenities include a fully functional kitchen with cookware, dishware, a blender and coffee pot with coffee supplied.

  • Honestly have only positive things to say about this home. Energy is fresh, decorated with modern Texan touches...perfect for our group with first timers to Texas. We did have a rental car, however the Austin B-Cycle station is only about a 10 minute walk from the house, and a couple of us took full advantage of that and enjoyed rides along the beautiful scenic river to almost everywhere we wanted to go. Also - the yard and patio is well maintained and we enioyed making breakfast in the fully functional kitchen exceeding any expectations and eating out on the picnic table in the morning. Thanks again Jenna, we hope your place is available on our next trip.

  • Jenna’s place is a gem! It’s a 10-minute Uber/Lyft ride to all the nearby hot spots (such as South Congress and Rainey Street). We felt very safe in the area, and Jenna’s home had all of the necessary amenities. Thank you, Jenna! Would stay again.

  • Really great house. Loved it. Bright, quiet, well equipped, and lovely decor. Would stay there again. Great value — wonderful new house in gentrifying neighborhood, A bit disappointed by location. Expected to be closer to shops, restaurants, downtown, etc., but fine if you have a car.

    Didier2017-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • The property was on a quiet street on the Eastside of Austin with convenient access to downtown and to the airport. The house itself was a joy to stay in with an easy keypad entry, a few options for dining/working areas, and comfortable beds with beautiful connecting bathrooms. WiFi is fast and a breeze to connect to. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Austin and will definitely stay here again on my next visit. 10/10!

  • The house is gorgeous with a beautiful view and a nice deck to watch the sunset. Cindy is an excellent host.

    Annie2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy is very welcoming and a great host. The room is in a beautiful and spotless home just outside the downtown area. Highly recommended and excellent value. :)

  • If you're reading reviews, then you're probably looking for information on the house, the host, or the dogs... so I'll share a few words on each. The house is exceptionally clean, beautiful, modern and very comfortable (and quiet). The views are beautiful. I'm writing this from a nearby cafe, just after checking out (I miss the place already). Waking up with a gourmet coffee and sitting on the deck watching the sun rise and clouds roll in, in the silence of those early hours, surrounded by nature (and deer!)... well, it's nothing short of magic. Cindy and her husband make you feel right at home, and yet you'd never know they were there unless you are looking for them. They respect your privacy, but they're close by and responsive if you need anything. The puppies are very well behaved, and quiet. I only saw them twice during my four day stay, and never heard them barking. If/when I have reason to return to Austin, this place will be at the top of my list.

  • This is a very efficient clean spacious room in a modern , new home that still has small intimate touches that make it feel warm. The views are amazing and close to town while still being quiet and surrounded by nature.

    Natalee2017-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful home, great views, terrific host!! You won’t be disappointed!! First experience with Airbnb and Cindy made it memorable!! A must if you plan on visiting the Austin area!!

    Chris2018-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy was an excellent host! The house itself was beautiful and clean! The view was simply astounding and well worth the price! The area is quiet and makes you feel secluded, but the city was only 10 min away which gives you the best of both worlds. I booked the room that has a shared bathroom and was definitely not as inconvenient as you would think. Cindy was very good at communicating and making sure the other guests were courteous to us and we were to them. 10/10 would definitely book again next time I visit Austin!

    Jessica2016-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy and David’s home in the hills of beautiful Austin is unlike no other Air BnB you will ever find. Impossibly chic, stylish & comfortable, their home is divine. Homely & private it feels like more of a retreat than a room rental. The deck looking out over the green basin is wonderful and the spacious room, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom gives you more of a 5* hotel experience than anything else. Above and beyond the wonderful space though is Cindy & David’s hospitality. They helped us immensely & showed us extraordinary generosity during our stay when we faced some medical issues. This kindness was so appreciated and won’t ever be forgotten! Stay at this place - you will not regret it. It’s the best air b n b we have ever been to.

Our cozy cottage located in our backyard garden is your own private oasis. Queen bed, hardwood floors, walk-in shower, high-speed internet, and a 1/2 acre lot right outside your door--complete with chickens, goats, bunnies, a duck and the cutest (and feistiest) pot-belly pig in Austin.
This fantastic backyard garden oasis has been completely remodeled and is available for rent by the night. Hardwood floors, AC unit, heater, queen-size bed with a fluffy duvet. Fully equipped bathroom with walk-in shower and a large closet. Small refrigerator and microwave for your convenience. Coffee pot and toaster oven. Free Wi-Fi! Enjoy a private entrance onto our beautiful 1/2 acre lot. Take in the fresh air while sitting in the Adirondack Chairs right outside your door or spend the day reveling in all that Austin has to offer. We are 3 1/2 miles from downtown Austin and the U.T. campus. There is a bus stop just a short walk up the street. Check-out time is 11:00 am (noon) and check-in time is after 2:00 pm. No minimum stay. Also available for rent by the month. Please look at calendar carefully as rates are subject to increase during festivals and other high traffic times (SXSW, ACL, F1, etc.) Price increases are reflected on the calendar! If you have animal allergies, this is NOT the place for you. Please take time to look at the pictures. We have a lot of animals on our property. We think of this as a huge plus, but allergy sufferers will most likely feel otherwise.
What do we love most about our neighborhood? The fact that we have a HUGE lot so close to downtown. It's like having a little bit of the country in the city.
  • We enjoyed our stay at M&M's. The little cottage is very cute, the bed is very comfy, the toffee was delicious. We arrived late in the evening, and per Marcella's directions, let ourselves in. We didn't actually see a lot of M&M, but when we did, they were friendly. We had one maintenance issue that Meredith dealt with promptly. We opted not to rent a car, and that is actually pretty doable. The house is about a five-minute walk from one bus line and a ten- to fifteen-minute walk from another. We would recommend this rental.

    Ann & Esther2015-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I was warmly greeted as I pulled into the driveway. The cottage was comfortable with extras like Internet, mini frig, microwave and toaster over. I was less than 10 minutes (driving) from the UT campus - exactly what I had hoped for

    Christianne2016-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying in Marcella and Meredith's 'garden shed' which makes you feel like your on a farm yet your close to everything! We really felt like we were at home with all the animals. The room is exactly as pictured and really quite beautiful. Thank you for having us. We had a great stay.

    Ashleigh And Justin2016-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem! My boyfriend and I visited Austin for our first time and everything was lovely. A quaint spot outside of downtown, the airbnb is lively with children and animals. The space itself is very boho and very clean. Marcella and Meredith were very communicative and we loved being able to support their story. They are doing great things! We will definitely be back!

    Ashley2017-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Marcella's place is absolutely adorable and such a lovely place to stay! I only wish I could have stayed longer!

    Megan2017-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, lovely hosts, cute pig! Very quiet at night + big comfy bed = me sleeping until 9, which I never do anymore!!

    Taylor2017-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • The Garden Shed on Marella's beautiful property is amazing. I myself am an animal lover and they have some of the cutest and friendliest animals that you are more than welcome to interact with. Marcella and Meredith gave us great suggestions for places to visit and get out of the heat. We never felt like we were invading their space even though the back yard is a shared space. The kids were very polite and personable, and happy to indulge in conversation, but never in the way. Marcella and Meredith really have a great thing going on in their little garden paradise. We will definitely be returning and recommend you do the same.

    Elise2017-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about this listing was as-advertised. My wife and I will gladly provide another glowing, 5-star review. The cottage was cozy and convenient to everything we wanted to do on our last night in Austin. The pig, chickens and cats are all part of the ambiance, and the hosts and their family are incredible. You will look back on your stay as a satisfied customer not only because of the accommodations, but also because these are genuinely good people and you're helping them do great things in their community.

Listen to the rustle of leafy trees on the shared rooftop deck of this centrally located, modern guest suite. The home has an understated, minimalist aesthetic and features a full kitchen with bright, open windows and convenient in-unit laundry.

The home is situated on a quiet residential street that is conveniently located within walking distance of all that east 6th and 11th streets have to offer. Austin's exciting east side is walkable to all the bars, restaurants, and fun.
  • The place was very clean and comfortable with huge windows and a rooftop desk. Parking out front was very easy. The neighborhood is quiet, but still within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We'd love to stay here again, sometime!

  • Michaels home is beautiful and located in a convenient area of town! Would love to stay again.

    Aly2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Michael's apartment was perfect for the 2 of us. Extremely clean and comfortable. Made us feel very at home. It was cold during our stay and the heat worked perfectly. Has a very cool access system to let you in so never need to worry about losing a key. Communication with Michael was very easy and he was quick to respond with any questions we had. About a 5 minute drive from downtown so close to everything. Would definitely stay at Michael's again. It was rainy during our stay and he had even left us an umbrella to use-came in very handy.

    Olivia2016-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely perfect 1 bedroom guesthouse. My favorite Airbnb to date. Clean, fresh, beautifully renovated, modern, and fully loaded with everything I could want in a guesthouse. I wish I cold take this guesthouse back with me home to live in in my home town. I highly highly recommend it.

    Asher2016-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • We did a quick overnight at Michael’s place. It was clean, comfortable and stylish! Check in was a breeze and we would definitely stay again.

    Mary2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Michael’s place was exactly as described. It had everything we needed and the location was great. Michael was readily available and allowed us to store our luggage to allow for a late departure from the city. I would highly recommend staying at his place, you won’t be disappointed!

    Kristen2018-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Michael was really hospitable, friendly and easy to get a hold of. We actually stayed at his place over Labor Day and he was very kind in even inviting us to a bbq he was having with his friends, which he didn't have to do at all! The apartment was modern and well-situated, and we had a great time! There was beer in the fridge as well, which my husband especially appreciated!

    Susan2016-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Michael's place is perfect - we didn't want to leave. The photos don't do the place justice! It is close to plenty of great restaurants and walking distance to many cool areas. I would recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Austin.

The peaceful private backyard studio is close to everything - downtown, Lady Bird Lake, South Congress, Barton Springs, Zilker Park, Auditorium Shores, Palmer Auditorium, minutes from East Austin. You’ll love the place because of the unique space. Tucked under sprawling Southern Live Oaks trees it has incredible light, a lush queen-sized bed, comfy fold-out leather sofa bed. My place is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and it's pet friendly.
The studio is located in the backyard of my house. While it has an open feeling with tons of light - it is still private. There is a small deck and use of the back yard which has a table and comfortable chairs. The studio of itself is special with high ceiling, subdued light and calming feel. With very comfortable furniture and TV (Roku) you can kick-back before hitting the town. There is no kitchen, but there is a coffee maker, tea kettle, small fridge and a microwave. Coffee, tea and a few refreshments will be provided. The european style bathroom is spacious and private with a large-walk in shower and a place to hang cloths.
The studio is located in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood. A sweet little hood, a stone throw to downtown Austin, its full of sprawling southern live oak trees and is a eclectic mix of ultra modern new-build homes and the old style bungalows. Stroll a few blocks to South First street for coffee shops, food trucks (breakfast tacos!) , amazing restaurants (vietnamese, thai, mexican) and some boutiques. A few more blocks over is South Congress - which is FULL of bars, restaurants, shops etc. Its all walkable. Barton Springs, which is one of Austin more incredible spots (especially early in the morning or for night swims) is a 5 minute drive. Lady bird lake is a half a mile walk down the street from the Studio. Downtown, Moody theatre, East Austin, Rainy Street are a short 5-10 minute uber ride. Zilker park is a 5 mins drive (15/20 min walk). Airport is 15-20 mins away. Circuit of the Americas is 20-25 mins.
  • Adam was super accesible and very quick to respond. He made our check in smooth even though he was out of town. The neighborhood is great, it's very close to lots of cafes, bars, stores, anything you could possibly need.

    Rossana2017-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb should be in the commercials. It's the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. We had 3 people total the couch becomes a wonderful bed. Adam provided everything I could have hoped for. It's like you wish for something and it appears in the cabinets. By far and away the most pleasant travel rental experience I've ever had.

    Price2017-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place. Very comfortable, great location. Highly recommended.

    Bob2017-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Adam was a great host. I had to let him know extra guests were coming last minute and he was very flexible adjusting to it. The studio itself was wonderful and has a lot of natural light. I love the decors and the hammock in the backyard. Me and my friends had an amazing time. Will definitely book this again!

    Ria2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Adam’s studio was spacious and definitely zen. Fab furniture, great aesthetic, comfortable accommodations. Perfect!

    Dan2018-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here for a few days while in town for a wedding, and we both fell in love with this place. The studio is both stylish AND comfortable. We slept like babies in the bed, and we loved the artwork, decor, and other homey touches that filled the place. Also, since the studio is removed from the road and has some amazing trees and greenery around it, we felt so wonderfully secluded while inside it. Then we'd step outside and remember we were located within 10 minutes of just about everything we wanted to do in Austin! (Mega Bonus: there are some amazing food options within walking distance, most notably Adam's recommendation of Elizabeth Street Cafe on S. 1st Congress. If you go for breakfast, get banh mi or the French toast. You won't be disappointed!) Most importantly perhaps, Adam was communicative and ready to help if we needed anything... But we never did! The studio had everything we needed, and Adam was so clear in his welcome message, that we never needed to bother him for a thing! We honestly had such an amazing experience staying at Adam's Zen Studio that we hope to stay here again whenever we come to Austin!

    Jessica2018-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • a lovely escape. the place is beautiful, creative/quirky open and light filled. the care put into the design shows. Great to get away in this little hidden room in a fun city for a bit with no kids.

The space, recently built is naturally light, airy and open. It has a kingsize bed, 400 thread count sheets and lots of pillows. The sectional sofa was custom built to fit the space and the smart television can be watched comfortably from both it or the bed as it is mounted to the wall and swivels. The bathroom and shower are truly special. The enormous shower is tiled in the most serene green glass and the rain shower head is delicious. Location is what really makes the flat great. It is within walking distance to many of Austin's great bars and restaurants as well as the Capitol and UT sports venues. • Our stay at Steve's backyard cottage could not have been better. The space is well curated inside and out--very comfortable and cozy. Steve was incredibly flexible with our check in and check out times. He also provided an awesome list of sites to see and places to eat in the area. In addition, it is very easy to take an Uber to the Downtown and South Congress areas. This is place is an amazing value! We will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Austin.

  • Warm and welcoming in the middle of the trendy Cherrywood neighborhood.

    Jerad2016-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Steve was a great host and the cottage was very cozy. He was hospitable and attentive to all of of needs but also gave us space. The place was clean and had everything we expected. The location was perfect- about a 10 minute drive from downtown Austin. The neighborhood was safe and we felt comfortable walking our dog at night. As a nice surprise, Steve sent us on our way with homemade rice krispie treats!

    Jackie2016-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Steve is great and very friendly! His backyard cottage is handsome and very comfortable. Steve made sure I had everything I could want--he even left treats out! The neighborhood is really nice pleasant and also walking distance to cafes and other businesses. Steve also was super accommodating with last minute reservations and check-in/check-out times.

    Amanda2016-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Steve left us clear instructions on how to get into his cottage because our flight got in so late. The cottage was very clean, and of course, the snacks he left for us were much appreciated by us hungry travelers and just a courteous gesture. I will recommend his cottage to friends and family visiting me in the future!

    Claire&John2014-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! You should absolutely stay with Steve if you're looking for a place in Austin. Not only is the place clean, comfortable, and relaxing--but Steve is one of the best hosts we've ever had. We were driving cross country and ran into some travel troubles in Austin. Steve was eager to help and provided us with helpful suggestions. He was flexible with check out and he was so sweet to our dog. I cannot recommend Steve and his place enough.

    Hannah2017-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second stay at Steve's backyard cottage. It's now our go-to place to stay when we're in town. We love the location and always feel so welcome.

  • Steve's place was super cute, clean and comfortable. All the trees that surround it, almost make you feel like you're in a modern fairy tale. It is very peaceful and a perfect place to crash if you're in Austin for a few days and want to get around quickly. Steve was super accommodating, too, and very responsive. Definitely recommended and definitely would stay here again.

  • Such a great location for the price! The apt is beautifully decorated and in a very hip part of downtown austin. We were local to some great bars and restaurants but still far enough from the craziness of 6th st. which we walked to a coupe times. Absolutely had no noise issues with the provided sound machine. I have already recommended my friends check this place out if they ever visit.

  • Awesome condo in downtown Austin. Within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants and attractions. Parallel was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. Condo is very cute and the complex has a great pool and amazing views. A+!

  • Very nice place to stay in Austin, it hovers just above 6th street and looks down onto a few popular clubs which is good and bad. It makes for a great view but all hours of the day and night you've got club music bumping away, the host provided ear plugs which were much appreciated. It wasn't a problem for us because we were out at the bars most of the time. The bedroom had a floor to ceiling window which is super cool but bring a sleeping mask because the morning sun will wake you up as there are no black out curtains...luckily we were prepared with some. Overall it was a great trip!

Welcome to our studio in the heart of Hyde Park! Our private studio is located in our backyard with parking in front of our house. You can walk to Hyde Park Village, the Triangle or North Loop and it is minutes to downtown and UT.
Our private studio offers convenient access to everything you want to do in Austin. It is small (approximately 220 square feet, like a small hotel room) but what it lacks in size, it makes up for with charm (and everything you need for a great stay). The studio is located in the backyard of our house (private fenced yard, side entrance) and is separate from the main house, although it shares an insulated wall with a home office, typically in use from 9-5. Also included are WiFi, and smart TV (no cable, but Netflix account pre logged in.) The studio has a brand new queen sized bed. Guests with children are welcome to bring an air mattress for no additional charge, but space is tight with a mattress on the floor. Due to its limited size, we do not allow the studio to be used by 4 full-sized adults. It is perfect for a couple or small family. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge and microwave. Additionally, all of the windows have window coverings for privacy, though the top windows are uncovered for natural light . As we are located in the middle of a historic residential community (and love our neighbors and this is our backyard), keeping outdoor noise down is critical. If you're a fan of blaring music and doing beer bongs, you're in the wrong place. The studio is located near several bus stops in a safe neighborhood that is very safe to walk in. Thanks for checking us out! City of Austin Short Term Rental Operating License #OL(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)
Our beautiful and friendly neighborhood is one of the oldest in Austin. It is full of tree lined streets with eclectic homes. You can walk to local coffee shops, restaurants or Shipe Park for a picnic or swim (in the summer time)!
  • Place was very clean and nice! would definitely stay again!

    Mario2017-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • This casita was exactly what I was looking for. Everything was spotlessly clean and exactly as described. I appreciated the small table and the coffee maker in the unit. The grocery was just a short walk away. The hosts were gracious, kind, knowledgeable, and expedient communicators. They offered great proactive advice and were very gracious when I accidentally booked the incorrect dates. I would highly recommend these hosts and this airbnb.

  • Great little place for use when visiting Austin. Great neighborhood, friendly hosts, and easy access.

    Matthew2017-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Such an awesome studio! Comfortable, modern, and so accessible. Sangeeta gave us great recommendations for the area and we really enjoyed our time and accommodations. Would definitely book again!

  • Really enjoyed my stay here. The place is great for a solo traveller or a couple. Its detached from the main house so you get a privacy. There are lot a great food spots within walking distance or a short drive. It's also very close to the bus line that takes you to downtown. Will definitely stay here again given a chance!

    Mathew2017-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • The Airbnb was lovely and perfect for our stay in Austin. It was in a cute neighborhood but was close to the busy streets of Austin. Sangeeta and Chris were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay here on our next visit!

    Lauren2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • It is a very clean place and close to the nightlife. Located in a very quiet neighborhood.

  • I only had 1 night here, but had a lovely time. The space is small, but cozy and has everything you'd need. Super comfortable bed and a great little kitchenette area. Lots of natural light. Great neighborhood.

Beautiful flat that comfortably sleeps up to four and is conveniently situated in Austin's centrally located and hip Hyde Park neighborhood and very close to the University of Texas, perfect for UT Football games. Featuring bamboo floors, a full kitchenette (with double burner, micro-wave, dishes, cookware and cooking utensils), colorful furniture and lots of natural light, its the antidote to the impersonal and tired big box hotel experience. We also have recently installed a brand new A/C unit, which is always a nice thing during our hot summers!! The apartment is on the same premise as the owner's home, but separate from the main house. So, they are close by if assistance is needed, but the apartment maintains plenty of privacy. It includes one full bed with a comfortable futon couch that folds out for two additional sleeping spots, and a dining table with place settings for up to four people. It also features one full bathroom with shower, and plenty of clean towels and linens provided. Close street parking. For longer term rentals, covered parking is a possibility. Located just a few minutes walk from Elizabet Ney museum and Hyde Park's quaint local shopping district, which feature's Austin restaurant gems Asti, Mothers, Julio's and Hyde Park Bar & Grill, and coffee shops Quack's and La Dolce Vita, its easy to get out and enjoy the neighborhood. Its also a short 8 minute drive or 15 minute direct bus ride to the University of Texas campus, and its world renowned intellectual, sports, museum, and arts & culture facilities. Further, given the apartment's central location, its an easy trip to downtown's eclectic, and sometimes wild, live music, entertainment, and shopping districts. Lastly, if outdoor activities are your thing, its also a short drive to Lady Bird Lake, Lake Austin and Lake Travis for water activities and/or well kept hiking and running trails. The attentive property owners, Simone and Drew, live on-site with their son, and two dogs (Jordan and Lili). So, you might enjoy fresh eggs. In short, if you're up to an easy going and authentic Austin experience for a few days (longer term rentals may be considered), this might prove a great choice. We're looking forward to hosting you! Sincerely, Simone & Drew Entertainment: TV, includes cable and streaming access to Netflix, Amazon Instant Video and Pandora. • We had a fantastic time at Drew's space this week. He was a great host and helped whenever we needed it, provided a smooth check in with great recommendations, and has a wonderful flat that was perfect for our time in Austin. The location was great. We went to every end of Austin at various times, and it seems like nothing was more than 15 minutes away, which was awesome! I highly recommend staying here!

    Dan2012-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Drew was a great host, and the suite was beautiful. Gave us great recommendations for restaurant (Vino Vino) and advice about Austin.

    Kate2012-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • The Hyde Park Flat was a fantastic surprise in more ways than one for my visit to Austin. Drew was a fantastic and accomodating host and the space was delightfully bright and clean. The location was dreamy...a beautiful neighborhood and very centrally located. I would definitely stay here. (Another great surprise was that it turned out that Drew and I went to middle school together which I didn't know before I booked the location. What a treat to reconnect!!)

    Tanya2012-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Drew and his family were great hosts. The room is exactly as advertised. Drew and his family were great hosts. The room is exactly as advertised. My 11-year-old son and I Stayed for a long weekend and the room was perfect. The location made it easy for us to get anywhere we wanted to go in Austin and we really enjoy the hyde Park neighborhood. We will definitely look forward to staying there again.

    Sam2015-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • The place was comfortable, airy, and entirely true to the pictures. Drew was a very nice, accommodating host who offered great suggestions of things to check out in Austin. The Hyde Park neighborhood was great: quiet and residential yet sprinkled with "Austin Weird", and with a public pool and nice cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Easy access to the highway for checking out the rest of the city and nearby nature. Only one regret: I was looking forward to meeting the chickens pictured in the AirBnb profile, but it seems they no longer live at the Hyde Park Flat ;-)

    Karen2013-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Drew was quick to respond, patient with my numerous questions as I prepared for an out of town teaching guest to arrive, and was beautifully accommodating in terms of me getting in there just prior to guest arrival and later to take out the supplies the guest didn't use... He was friendly, cheerful and easy to like! The space was sweet and refreshing - light, colorful, well set up up for visitor needs...

    Leslie2014-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a spacious clean well equipped place to stay in a quiet residential district. It is a nice conversion above a detached garage at the rear of the host’s house. It is self contained with electric heating( which was needed in Jan 2018 when we stayed) and air conditioning ( not needed) A comfortable double bed and a sofa bed and adequate cooking facilities: kettle, microwave and small electric hob and fridge and a TV and WiFi mean you could stay in and chill out on spacious comfort. We came by car which was easy but there is a local bus stop ( we didn’t use it) but did get a Uber taxi into down town with no problem. Drew was a good communicator when booking and when we were staying. He gave some local suggestions to visit and made sure the heating was working. We had a stress free enjoyable time there and would recommend it

    Andy2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Drew's flat was our first airbnb experience and it could not have gone better. We were greeted by Drew and his whole family, we even got to meet their feathered friends, one of whom had recently laid her first egg! The apt was top notch, so clean and comfortable. It actually was even nicer than the photo's let on! Really loved the decor and the semi circle shower stand was awesome, so modern, I was secretly stealing design ideas! We were very impressed with the flat and plan to stay here again. Thank you Drew and family for being so warm and welcoming.

  • This place was in a cute neighborhood and the place was a really comfortable stay for my boyfriend and I. Jeany and Mose were kind enough to leave towels and a few toiletries as well. We explored the city with the giant list of places to eat and sight-see that they kindly left on the table for us. Great hosts in a great city; I hope that we can stay again soon!

    Savannah2016-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • The guest house was pretty amazing, clean, quiet, within walking distance or a short card ride of major attractions. First time using Airbnb and after this experience I would definitely book this guest house again.

    Roger2014-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jeany's place was wonderful! Immaculate, roomy, super comfy bed, in a great area, and so much cheaper than any hotel! I couldn't have been happier with it, and am definitely hoping it's available again next time I'm in Austin.

    Kristen2014-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Our experience at Jeany's place was fantastic! Everything was absolutely spotless and the room was perfect for what we needed. The location is close to everything. We actually had so much fun we wanted to stay another night, but unfortunately the place was already booked! Will definitely stay at Jeany's place again next time we're in Austin.

    Chad2014-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jeany was a great communicator, and even allowed me to check and out outside the normal times to accommodate my schedule. Super happy with the experience. The place is adorable and spacious and so much better than a hotel! We ended up walking downtown a couple times because cabs weren't available nearby, but SXSW was going on. Getting one back was fine. The walk was a little over 30 minutes, which wasn't bad given to cooler weather. There is a bus line right outside, but we never managed to take it.

    Kathleen2014-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jeany was incredibly responsive to any questions we had. The apartment is just the landing pad we needed with all the necessities during our stay in town. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but not far from places of interest.

    Andrew2017-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this place, we walked everywhere from here! Clean, spacious apartment. Thanks for having us!

    Kate2017-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • The room was quiet, well-appointed and easy to find. Check-in/out processes were easy and the location is terrific-close to all the fun of East Austin and a stones throw from South Congress and the airport. Host communication was fast and she also accommodated some special requests. Overall a great experience!

Modern, light-filled tiny house in central Austin has all the amenities of a hotel room but in a quiet neighborhood near UT. Perfect for 2 people, it's an easy walk to restaurants, bars and music, and a short drive to downtown, east side and SOCO.
The best way to experience Austin is to come and go from the privacy of your own home. This 8' x 17' tiny house has all the amenities of a hotel room but in a neighborhood setting in central Austin near UT. The tiny house is parked in a big backyard and has its own private access. It’s a short walk to popular local eateries like Olive & June and Austin breakfast original, Kerbey Lane, and an easy drive to the east side, SOCO, downtown, SXSW venues, Zilker Park, and UT activities. Off-street parking is steps from the front door. The house has an open, airy floor plan with lots of natural light, custom cabinetry and modern furnishings. The loft space is a great sleeping nook with a queen bed, sconces, and outlets so you can charge your phone or other devices at night. The shower and toilet downstairs and comes with basic necessities like towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and a small blow dryer. There is a small kitchen with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and a sink for both kitchen and bath needs. The kitchen has essentials for enjoying a simple meal like plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, utensils, hand and paper towels, cutting board, knives, can opener, salt & pepper, etc. There is 138 sq. ft. downstairs and an additional 42 sq. ft. sleeping loft for a total living space of 180 sq. ft. Please remember that it is a tiny home and the shower space is smaller (3' x 3') with a curtain door to the bathroom. It may be uncomfortable if you are very tall. My partner is 6'4" and he has to slump a bit in the shower. I've had several tall guests who have not had any problem but I want to be clear in my description of the space. The tiny home has a 10 gallon water heater, which is standard for small spaces, but if you like to take longer showers, this may not be the space for you. While I have a 2 night minimum stay as a general policy, I will consider a 1 night stay, so feel free to send me an inquiry. It mainly depends on if I will be able to get free from work to clean it before you or the next guest arrives. The price includes all city and state hotel taxes. The tiny home features its own private access and small courtyard shaded by a Texas pecan tree! Parking is spacious, off street and steps from your front door. It also has a Tevo lock, so can be accessed from your smart phone or by key. The tiny home is located in my big backyard but is very private and I will not disturb you. What is so great about the neighborhood is that it is so walkable - restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store, and running trail are all within walking distance. It's close to MoPac and is a short drive to pretty much all that Austin has to offer. It's got lots of great trees, people out walking their dogs, and a nice neighborhood feel to it. If you are planning on getting around by taxi, you will easily be able to hail a cab downtown but you will need to call ahead to get a cab to pick you up from the tiny home. Most guests use Uber or Lyft. If you plan to take the bus, there is a bus stop a block from the house and other bus stops are within walking distance. While I have a 2 night minimum stay as a general policy, I will consider a 1 night stay, so feel free to send me an inquiry. It mainly depends on if I will be able to get free from work to clean it before you or the next guest arrives. Please be courteous and considerate of the neighbors.

  • Trish's Tiny House is the best! It is so very cute and super clean. It was the coziest place and we were beyond happy staying there. Trish is also a wonderful host! We didn't get to meet her in person but she was so friendly and communicative via email. I would tell anyone staying in Austin to stay at Trish's Tiny House!

    Erin2015-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Trish was a fantastic host! Everything was stocked, clean and ready to go. Not to mention the tiny house was perfect. Nice and tiny but the ceilings are tall enough to make you feel like you have more than enough space. Also, the location is pretty great. It's a very nice and quiet neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of down town, but it's located near enough major roads/free ways that getting anywhere in Austin was so easy, and took so little time as long as traffic was agreeable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Tim2015-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Trish's tiny house is super cute and in a great location. I never felt like I was too far from anything and it was really easy to hop on Mopac and get around town. The space is comfortable and uncluttered but not sparse. Check-in was a breeze and I really enjoyed my stay.

    Ricay2018-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, adorable tiny house, easy access, comfortable.

    Marykay2018-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mini house Mega fun! I have been following the tiny house movement for a while and have been dying to finally stay in one. It was everything I had expected but also a true realization of just how small of a space it really is. Trish's place is quite and cozy and full of character, but despite being tiny we manager to fit a good amount of people into the space. I had 5 or so friends come check it out and we all managed to fit comfortable. The location is great if you looking to be close to the city without have to pay for city prices. I would definitely check it out, so worth the experience.

    Mark2015-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • Trish's place was so cute, and she was an excellent host. She thought of everything, from the magnetic curtains to the stocked medicine cabinet. The place is just as depicted. As others have mentioned, the doorless bathroom took some getting used to, and it may not be the best choice for extremely tall folks. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying here!

    Bridget2016-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this little house. It was perfect and close enough to everything we didn't spend a lot of time in the car. It's pretty small, but well laid out. There was off street parking and private entrance. We will definitely consider this place again if we are ever back in Austin. The host was super nice and very accommodating.

    Ashley2015-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had wanted to try out a tiny house experience and found this one which was great! Good location near expressways and close to downtown. Host very communicative and helpful. We may stay here again next time in Austin!

  • Great house; friendly host; perfect location- I'd recommend to anyone looking for a very Austin experience.

    Aliceann2015-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • The SoCo Cottage is perfect for exploring Austin. Chris is a fantastic host who knows a lot about the city and the tour he gave us with his cute dogs to show us the nearest restaurants and sights was really helpful. Communication was great. The cottage is super cool and in a great location to local restaurants and bars. We fell in love with the cottage, just like we fell in love with Austin. Our only regret is that we weren't there longer!

    Alice2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Chris was a great host. He communicated well with us as we made our way up from Houston, and was there to greet us when we arrived. He talked us through all aspects of the cottage and had great information on the property and neighborhood in general. He also communicated with us throughout the stay to make sure our needs were met.

    Elka2016-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • The SoCo Cottage was a unique experience. Exactly what we were looking for. SO much better than staying in a hotel. Chris was there to greet us & tell us where its at in Austin. We appreciate all the details that made this weekend getaway extra special.

    Susie2014-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Chris was very easy to work with in terms of getting in and out of the place. Although our busy schedule never gave us the chance to meet up, everything worked out well. The place looks and is exactly as described. It was like a home away from home for me for many reasons. Perfect location, just a minutes walk from South Congress where there are many shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend staying here.

    Zamir2016-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Chris was great! He met me outside and showed me around. The cottage is as described, but just a little cooler. Excellent location with tons of options for anything you want within a short walk. My new favorite place to stay in Austin.

    Mike2015-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Chris' eclectic SoCo cottage is a super place to stay in Austin if you want to be within walking distance of many fabulous restaurants, foodie food trucks, neat shops & hip venues. The cottage is charmingly decorated and has all your possible needs covered. Chris himself was a great host; readily available for any questions & provided great tips and a quick tour of the neighbourhood. Definitely recommend!

Welcome to our studio in the heart of Hyde Park! The casita (Spanish for "little house") has its own private fenced yard and parking. You can walk to Hyde Park Village, the Triangle or North Loop and it is minutes to downtown and UT by car.
Our private studio offers convenient access to everything you want to do in Austin. It is small (approximately 250 square feet, like a small hotel room) but what it lacks in size, it makes up for with charm (and everything you need for a great stay). The casita includes a private fenced yard with off-street parking and a private entrance. Also included are WiFi, and smart TV (no cable, but Netflix account pre logged in.) The studio has a brand new Queen sized bed. Guests with children are welcome to bring an air mattress for no additional charge, but space is tight with a mattress on the floor. Due to its limited size, we DO NOT recommend the Casita for 4 full-sized adults. It is perfect for a couple or small family. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge and microwave with a portable 2 burner hot plate and all of the windows have window coverings for privacy. As we are located in the middle of a historic residential community (and love our neighbors), keeping outdoor noise down is critical. Enjoy the deck and private yard, but if you're a fan of blaring music and doing beer bongs, you're in the wrong place. The studio is located near several bus stops in a safe neighborhood that is very safe to walk in. Thanks for checking us out! Our beautiful and friendly neighborhood is one of the oldest in Austin. It is full of tree lined streets with eclectic homes. You can walk to local coffee shops, restaurants or Shipe Park for a picnic or swim (in the summer time)!
  • Loved the location. The casita is just that - a small house! But it has everything you need is super centrally located. I love the private alley entry and if the weather had been nicer, we would have definitely sat out on the porch. This place is a great value - I will definitely look for it the next time we are in town.

  • Great little place to stay adorable charm open and airy. Lots of good light and an adorable porch. Good location not as much in walking distance as I normally like but easy driving distance to lots of restaurants.

    Emily2016-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • The casita delivered as promised - it was clean, convenient to downtown Austin, and had some nice amenities such as a small yard to park in without additional cost, a kitchenette, and the privacy of a backyard. I loved the Netflix TV which is positioned on the wall across from the bed which makes for optimal lounging. The air conditioner works very well and helped us get through some sticky Austin nights. A couple cons were lack of enough bath towels, no top sheet on the bed (the previous airbnber had spilled wine on it, and the owner was ordering a new one, and a squeaky and too small (for us) bed - full size. Updated the bed to a queen would be great - there is also an air mattress available for extra guests.

  • We did not have (nor did we expect) any contact with the host. The neighborhood was very nice. The rental was as advertised and we were pleased with the experience. We would suggest the addition of someplace to hang some clothes.

  • Excellent place everyone please book chris', you won't be disappointed!

    Aaron2018-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great little space! Clean, well styled, and close to some places to eat and drink. A short drive to the university, downtown and other key Austin spots. Overall, it was easy and cheap and I would stay there again.

    Sam2018-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great space! Modern, stylish, and still offered a cozy vibe! Oh and who doesn't love Netflix?

    Kelsa2017-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in the Casita this past weekend for our first trip to Austin, and I can’t say enough good things. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful, and everything we wanted to see and do were only a very short drive away. The space itself was clean, cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed (we especially loved the Netflix account). We would absolutely stay here again on a return trip - thank you so much for maintaining such a beautiful little spot for those looking for an authentic Austin experience. We had so much fun!

Small (500 square feet), updated condo in small, quiet complex. The building is located right between the University of Texas campus and the state capitol on a lovely, tree lined street. Everything that downtown has to offer is right outside your door but the neighborhood is quiet, lined with many old homes that are now used for commercial purposes. The condo has a studio setup with the bedroom being open to the living area. All of the units (18 total) in the building have been upgraded and they boast bamboo flooring, granite counters in the kitchen and bathroom, stainless steel appliances and new plumbing fixtures. There is a laundry room on each floor with top of the line appliances that are free to use. There are several restaurants, bars, museums and shops in the immediate vicinity and it is an easy walk to most other places downtown. There is free parking underneath the building. Note: By accepting the terms of AirBnB, the guests also assume the risk of all harm and or injury which may occur to the guests on the premises or use of facilities. The guest releases and holds the host harmless of any and all liability.
Very centrally located between the University of Texas and downtown. You can walk south down Nueces through the old residential part of Austin and will be at 6th Street in about 15 minutes. Cross MLK to the north and you are on the UT campus in five minutes. Arturos on San Antonio on 17th is great for breakfast and lunch, Clay Pit for Indian and the Dive Bar for drinks are all two blocks to the east.
  • Nice, cozy apartment within walking distance of great bars and restaurants. Kristen responded to each request quickly. Highly recommend!

    Tyler2016-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Kristen is a great host - clearly wants her guests to be welcome and her place to be the "go to place" in downtown Austin. She does a great job in providing community ideas, a well stocked condo and quick help when needed. Her condo is conveniently located and provides a nice landing spot for travelers. My husband, daughter and I felt safe, comfortable and well attended. We'd stay here again.

  • The apartment is very nice, and easy walking distance to UT and the AT&T Conference Center. Kristen was very helpful and everything went smoothly.

    Allen2015-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay excellent place to walk over tithe art conference center near UT. Good airco and really appreciated Kirsten's written tips about sightseeing & getting around.

  • Kristen is a very good host. She is is easy to contact and helpful. The condo is is a great location...walking distance to many venues. It is located in a nice quiet area. We try to stay in this condo unit when we go to Austin. The kitchen is minimally equipped so if you want to cook bring supplies.

    Philana2014-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place to stay! Kristen was a great host and the place was in the perfect location, just right downtown and close to everything, including public transportation. She even left us a little care package for our stay.. which was definitely appreciated! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Austin and stay in the downtown area. Great place! Thanks Kristen!

    Alicia2014-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience! Stayed here with wife and small daughter for UT graduation. Location was perfect...easily within walking distance to UT, Capital and good restaurants. Condo was updated and clean. Kristen was very responsive and made our stay and effortless one. Highly recommended!

    Jeremy2016-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • The taxi dropped us off curbside and we had misunderstood what the gate code was. Thankfully Kristen answered my call and gave us the code and we were able to get in. The condo is up three flights of stairs so it was a bit much due to the abnormal amount of luggage we had. The neighborhood is a quiet one and the bed was supper comfy. The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with coffee which I appreciated first thing in the morning. We were able to catch the bus to S. Congress St just two or three blocks east of the condo. We love Austin and would definitely consider staying here again when we return.

Recessed lighting, wood walls and counter tops throughout, high quality leather furniture and lots of windows and light complete this cozy and inviting abode. Although the space is small, many amenities await, including a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, full bath with a custom tiled shower, LED flatscreen Smart TV with cable, full washer/dryer, queen size bed and a deck with a completely fenced in yard. All linens, towels, dishes and cookware are provided as well as coffee, soaps and bath products. Guests will have complete access to entire house and yard. Nothing is shared. The hosts are long-time residents of Austin and are available to offer tips, recommendations and general guidance if needed or can be completely invisible if you prefer. Eastside Container is conveniently located in the heart of East Austin, close to the MLK train Station, downtown and UT campus, including UT's baseball, basketball and football stadiums. Very convenient to many great bars, restaurants, and live music venues on E. 6th St., Manor St., E. 11th St. and the Red River district. Some of the best BBQ joints in the state are almost within smelling distance, including, Franklin, La Barbecue, Mueller's, Mickelthwaite Kerlin and Sam's. Your own car is highly recommended while visiting Austin, as the public transportation system here has something to be desired. That being said, you are a 10 minute walk to the MLK train station which runs to and from downtown (but not too late). It is a short drive to downtown or UT, less than 5 minutes, or about a $6 cab or Uber ride.
  • This was the perfect place for my short stay in Austin. The space itself was very cool and unique and it had every amenity you could possibly need! The location was a bit further from downtown so I wasn't able to walk around as much as I would have liked to, but it's a short drive away from some really great bars and restaurants in east Austin.

    Kelley2018-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Cool place. Only frustration was the gate lock, but overall would definitely recommend.

    Krista2018-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at the container was a great experience, in our case we wanted to give it a try as we are thinking about downsizing in the future and we absolutely loved the floor plant and decoration Location didn't work for us as we ended up spending all our time dowtown and at the south Recommended if you want to experience a really unique home

    Regina2018-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Jason’s place is perfect for a couple or two friends visiting Austin. It’s very quiet and private. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the supplies you’d ever need. Definitely would stay there again!

    Fiona2018-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Don’t pass up the chance to stay in this 5 star container! Immaculately clean, more than enough space, zen like patio area, close to tons of things to do...and Jason helped with any question, need or request we had thoroughly and super quick! Loved it!!!!

    Lauren2018-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the Eastside Container although we had issues with the locking and unlocking of the door. Found it a bit tedious. Also, although we programmed the WiFi onto the tv, we could not watch any Netflix. Not a huge deal since we were not there for TV watching but would have been nice to have some background noise while getting ready to go out. Other than that, everything else was exceptional. Such a unique spot keeping Austin weird lol!

    Claudia2018-04-27T00:00:00Z

Located in the popular Holly neighborhood in Central East Austin, an area that's green, peaceful, friendly, historical, and beautiful. The home is close to downtown Austin and 6th St, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and food trucks nearby.
  • The home was beautiful, and we enjoyed "living in Austin." She was very helpful when it came to our needs and responded enthusiastically. The wifi was a little slow and the it was a tiny bit hot at times, but definitely a must stay if you come to Austin!

  • I cannot overstate how wonderful Amina's place was, and how great my experience was staying there. My friend and I stayed there for two nights, and were very impressed with the size, cleanliness, and decor. It's in a fantastic location, close to Rainey St and other great restaurants and bars. Additionally, Amina was very hospitable and readily available to answer any and all questions. I will be recommending this place to all of my family and friends!

She provided a binder with extensive information about the neighborhood (grocery stores, coffee shops, things to do, etc.) which was very helpful. I was there on business and the home had all the amenities needed to get my work done. I highly recommend staying here

A modern, detached 250sq ft micro-unit "casita" in the heart of old South Austin has everything you need for a pleasant stay - high beadboard ceilings, an equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, queen bed and proximity to some of the best Austin offers.
Your place will be a detached 250 square foot casita (small house) remodeled in 2015. It has a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, utensils, dinnerware etc. There is also a small under counter washer-dryer. The eating area is an extended countertop that seats up to three and can double as a workspace. The bed is queen sized. The 3/4 bath is small and practical, and has an overhead shower. Super fast gigabit fiber internet is available for you to use. The casita is heated and cooled by a quiet ductless system. There is no microwave or television, though the internet is certainly fast enough to stream anything you desire.
Dawson was built in the late 1950s and early 1960s as a working class neighborhood in what was then the city's southern edge. With Austin's huge growth, Dawson is now a central city neighborhood, although it retains some of the character of "old South Austin." Today, Dawson is a mix of old residents and newcomers (we've been here 16 years), with modest single story late 1950s houses giving way to new million dollar duplexes. We've kept to the basic style of the original neighborhood, while updating with modern and energy efficient improvements. We are in the middle of the neighborhood, back from busy streets. Dawson is near many of the city's attractions and convenient to the airport, about 20 minutes from ABIA, door to door, at low traffic hours.
  • This was a wonderful place to stay! Great location and I loved the place itself. The decor was adorable, and I particularly loved the tea selection they provided. Also Summermoon Coffee was super close and a great place to stop for coffee. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone, and will hopefully stay here again myself sometime soon.

  • Lots of room for a larger group. The pool is great!

    Sierra2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Overall this unit was comfortable and clean. It is an older looking unit. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was very weak. The temperature of the hot water in the sinks gets hot very quickly. Easy check in instructions. Appreciated that there was soap, shampoo and conditioner to use. This unit comes with a lot of rules. If you use napkins you need to bring your own, also if you are going to be cooking you will need non stick spray, oil, etc. The unit is a few miles from downtown Austin and that was nice.

  • This is the best place ever! The hosts are amazing...place is SUPER cute...clean...great location! You can definitely tell they have put so much thought into what their guests needs are. We will not stay at another airbnb in Austin! This will be our go to place in the future...

  • Great place to stay. Quiet, clean, functional and private with all amenities to hand. The location is pretty central which is an added bonus to this particular bnb. The host is lovely and accommodating.

    Schivonne2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • The location of the casita was perfect for my needs - very easy to get around, less than 10 minutes from conference venue. Bonus: there are quite a few local places for eating and drinking within a fair walking distance if you're up to it, and anyway the neighborhood is great for taking a stroll or logging some miles. Elizabeth and her family are fabulous hosts, and the casita is private and cozy. Loved my stay!

    Tanya2017-08-09T00:00:00Z

Come to stay in our charming backyard tiny house! It comes equipped with a queen size bed, tv, dining/work station, coffee machine & mini fridge. The bathroom has a sink, shower, self contained eco-friendly toilet and bath supplies including a hair dryer. Our location is very centralized so you can get anywhere in Austin easily. It's only a 12 minute drive to downtown! Why stay in a boring hotel when you can have your own private house for a fraction of the price? *Car for rent available too!
This tiny house is perfect for a short getaway for two people. But if you really want to sleep three people it is possible with two in the queen bed and one on the twin air mattress. Just know that it will be very tight space for 3.
We're located on a small street and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Within walking distance- Some great Asian and Mexican restaurants as well as a Target and bus station. There are tons of restaurants near by- Ramen Tatsu-ya, Stiles Switch BBQ, Din Ho Chinese BBQ, Baby Greens, Hanabi Sushi, Tam Deli & Cafe, Royal Jelly, El Nuevo Mexico, Chago's, Pint House Pizza, Torchies- the list goes on and on. Other attractions close by include Capitol City Comedy Club, Top Golf, Alamo Drafthouse, Pinballz old school arcade, Ikea and the Domain restaurants & shopping.

  • Nate’s place is awesome! Perfect for a weekend getaway.

    Nicolette2018-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • The house is super cute and it's really nice to have your own private place to stay that's quirkier than a hotel. It's very clear that the owner put a lot of effort into making a unique, cozy space and I definitely appreciated it. The location was a little farther from downtown Austin than I had anticipated, but it was still a perfectly manageable distance and we enjoyed the tiny house.

    Marisa2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • My first time staying at an AirB&B and in a tiny house was perfect. Nate's home was perfect for a solo traveler. It was clean, spacious and Nate had a few thoughtful touches throughout the space. Directions for accessing everything was super clear and hassle free. Everything was exactly as described. I'd definitely stay here again.

    Christian2017-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • My first tiny house experience and I felt like I had everything I needed. Me and my partner embraced the simple life. Will definitely stay there again.

    Annika2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Nate and his place are great! He's very nice and welcoming, and the place is perfect, clean, as pictured, and well stocked. Communication is a breeze, and I would def stay again. The dogs are absolutely adorable, too!!

Share a relaxed, al fresco evening meal with friends at the 12 foot dining table or share stories around the fire pit under the Texan stars. Bring the outdoors in with sliding glass doors opening onto the backyard of this renovated '50s bungalow.
Completely re-imagined by a designer/architect, this 1950's house was stripped to the studs to be recreated into a modern oasis of cool just ten minutes to the epicenter of downtown Austin. Appointed with every comfort, the home sports sliding glass walls to the backyard to allow the inside out and the outside in. An expansive living room gets even larger with the view to the backyard's minimalist "mound of grass" and the communal fire-pit beyond. A massive 12 foot long dining table adds casual chic to any grill-out dinner party you may want to throw under the Texas stars, or just a leisurely cool morning coffee. Just a step up from the living room and a theatre-style kitchen and serving bar allows even the most gourmet chef to have their crack at cooking anything from the local Whole Foods headquarters. Every amenity is available for the food fanatic, from induction cook-top to espresso machine. Two bedrooms on either side of a long entry hallway provide great privacy for a two-couple retreat. The queen bed guest suite has its own direct access to the backyard with a wall of glass, and its own accompanying bath. The king bed master bedroom is a technical delight, with a ceiling mounted, flat-panel TV that rotates for viewing in bed or in the chroma therapy air jet bathtub. A separate shower stall with digital controls sports both a 12" rain shower head and a hand-held shower wand. The master bathroom, like the kitchen extension is completely clad in a warm zen-inducing bamboo. (NOTE: This house can be rented with the neighboring house for large get-togethers up to 10 people, and the two together provide TONS of outdoor entertainment space including two dining areas, a hot tub, the fire pit, and outdoor spa shower with a waterfall head. If interested search for the listing "Hip Oasis, Bamboo Forest & Hot Tub." to see the other. Inquiries for a dual rental will receive a special price for the two together.)
Windsor Park is a Keep Austin Weird neighborhood three miles from downtown. Trendy spots nearby include East Austin Bikram Yoga and eateries The Nomad "Global" Bar, Paco's Tacos, Xian Sushi, Tino's Greek, Torchy's Tacos, and Corona Cafe.
  • The house is a gem. Its glass walls (and one skylight) fill the house with light and the kitchen is well equipped. Both bathrooms are modern and beautiful. Michael was out of the country when we arrived but there was a nice welcoming gift when we got there. Liz and Taylor were on call if we needed anything. Michael still checked in with us by email and promptly responded to our questions. The yard adds an extra dimension with a fire pit ( with wood) and a large dinning table. The house is located in up and coming East Austin, close to an In and Out Burger, a Starbucks and 2 supermarkets. We found two great restaurants (The Salty Sow and El Chile) and an independent coffee shop (Sa-Ten) not too far away--and its hard not to run into a food truck as you explore the area. It is not very far from all of Austin's major attractions.

    Stanley2016-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Michael's place was great! Clean, sleek and comfortable house. Michael was also a great host and very responsive.

    Nick2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • A truism: wonderful architecture and well thought out use of space exponentially enhances the human experience. Well appointed, clean and comfortable. We had a few questions and response was quick and efficient. We stayed for Thanksgiving week and WOW! The perfect kitchen to cook and entertain and enjoy all at once. Honestly we would have a hard time picking what was more pleasurable: the indoor or outdoor space. With a good fire outside, going back and forth from the kitchen to the fire was a natural flow. Then rolling to bed (I had the bedroom with floor to ceiling windows so I sat watching the fire from my bedroom before I fell asleep)- very comfortable and easy - the place/space was a catalyst to a wonderful family holiday. Great place ran very well! For a couple nights or a week-a perfect choice. I'm already nostalgic! Thank you so much.

    Sophia2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • The house was great and was conveniently located where we needed to be, near the Mueller housing district. Michael was a great host and made sure we felt welcome with a nice arrival note and bottle of champagne.

  • Michael's place was awesome! It's centrally located, well-equipped, cozy and fun. He is a great host as well. He checked in to make sure everything was just as we expected and offered to provide suggestions for great places to eat and things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

    Vanesa2016-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Michael's home is exactly as in the photos, modern, clean, comfy and with all the necessary items for our stay. The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were beautiful and modern with nice amenities to use. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, even close to downtown Austin. Michael was a very good host which welcomed us ladies with a welcome card and nice surprise. Overall the modern home and the host were amazing, me and my girlfriends would definitely recommend them. Thank you, Michael!

Kick back in this retro, vintage Airstream Argosy vacation home in the safe, friendly Galindo neighborhood. This unique home is stylishly decorated with a throwback style and an intelligent use of the space. Party lights light up the site outside.
The Airstream has a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, a closet , living room and a fully stocked kitchen. Spacious backyard for bbqing and multiple seating areas plus a stage. Large trees provide great natural shade. There is a shower inside of the Airstream that provides hot water -Compact bathroom w/ shower, sink and RV toilet. (Due to the curved ceiling of the Airstream, if you're over 6 feet, it will be cozy. Showering entails using a shower wand. Adds to the 1975 vintage charm and adventure!:). There is an outdoor shower, too! Lit outdoor seating.
Galindo is a secure and friendly neighborhood. It's close to everything fun in the SoCo area, and coffee and tacos are just a short walk away. Old-school Austin, not Coachella.
  • Quirky but cozy! Definitely out of the ordinary but fun!! The hostess was a hoot!

  • Leeann’s place was great, I loved it!

    Lauren2018-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Leeann's Airstream was the perfect destination for our visit to Austin and ACL! Leeann was an excellent host and even brought us homemade cupcakes one day. She was very attentive to all our questions and overall just a lovely person! Would definitely recommend staying here for your visit to Austin.

    Kristin2018-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Cute space! Just like the pictures!

    Naomi2018-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • Leeann's trailer was perfect for us, because we love staying in places that have character. The trailer had a retro vibe and provided everything we needed. It was nice and quiet, was in a convenient location, and our host Leeann was very communicative. She had great local suggestions for us and made us feel at home. If you're looking for that cute, tiny home experience, we highly recommend the airstream trailer.

    Megan2018-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • Leeann’s place was comfy and cozy and definitely the Austin feel. The bed was comfortable and the AC/WiFi both worked very well. I had a difficult time finding the place at first but Leeann was graciously there to meet me upon my arrival and already had the AC started for me. The camper had a lot of cute touches and great amenities. The shower was a bit small but it’s what you should expect from a camper. The backyard was super cute and had lots of character. Location was incredible and close to everything you need to see in Austin! Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. I would definitely stay here again!

    Jessica2018-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • It’s described as a Airbnb plus which should assure you about comfort. It’s not so comfy, the bed is too small for two people and the shower it’s damaged. We left after one night instead then 8 nights.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Erin’s cottage. The place was very clean and perfect for our one night stay in Austin. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and convenient stores. Also about a 10 minute Uber/Lyft ride to the Domain. Erin was a great host who provided clear instructions and also quick responses to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again during our next visit to Austin!

    Dustin2018-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place! This was very well-equipped for a cosy little guesthouse, and Erin is very accommodating and responsive. The neighborhood is quiet, but there are good restaurants and shops within a mile of the house, and it was nice to get away from the busy city at the end of each day.

    Elizabeth2018-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Erin's place is an amazing stylish little studio. It is a lot more spacious than the images show. The walk in shower is big and easy to use, the water pressure is also great. The bed is comfortable and I had no problem sleeping. There is a lot of cute shops and places to eat around Erin's place. Check-in is easy and the directions at the end are straight forward, I would recommend Erin's place to anyone without hesitance.

    Amanda2017-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cottage space behind the main house that looks even better in person. It is cozy but full of light, very clean, and contemporary feel. My wife and I fell in love with the place. Easy check-in and check-out, Erin was quick with replies and very accommodating. Would love to stay here again.

    Shah2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is my favorite Airbnb that I’ve stayed in. It was very homey and exactly what we needed. Very central location which made it easy to get around.

    Abigail2017-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • We're so happy that we chose to stay at the cottage! It was clean, cute, and kitchenette was well equipped with utensils that we needed. We enjoyed the high windows that provided both privacy and plenty of natural light. Would definitely recommend!

    Abigail2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Erin and Robert are wonderful hosts. I only met Robert but communication with both of them was terrific from check in through our departure. They were very attentive to our needs throughout our stay. The Cottage is new, clean, spacious and stocked with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. And the outside deck is extremely private and a nice way to extend the living space when the weather cooperates. Their place is just a short drive to downtown Austin. With a sitting area and kitchenette with fridge and microwave, this is the ideal place to rent if you are staying in Austin for more than a day or two.

    Steve2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Model AirBnB space. Comfortable furnishings, well appointed and great air-conditioner. I didn't realize Austin was so humid. Erin responds quickly and shares clear details about interacting with the place. I would stay again. The neighborhood is about a $10 Lyft ride downtown, less if you use Line during non-peak. There's lots of neat shops in the area worth exploring too that are within walking distance.

This apartment is the perfect launching pad for your Austin adventure! It's central location means that you're close to everything. It's recently been redecorated. The apartment fits 6 people comfortably with 2 in each bedroom (king bed in one and queen bed in the other) and 2 on the sleeper sofa.
Located in central Austin, the super popular neighborhood is called Brentwood. Situated right next to the quickly developing Burnet Road district with tons of great bars and restaurants and a quick walk to direct public transit downtown.
  • I would agree with other reviews about the location and building. But overall the inside was nice and the team managing the Airbnb was very responsive. It was exactly what we needed for ACL weekend and close to a taco deli! With uber and Lyft back in Austin traveling downtown was not a problem. Thanks so much for letting us stay at your place!

    Veronique2017-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Unit 101 is part of a outdated motel. It sits behind a strip mall and takes approximately 20 minutes cab ride to downtown Austin. Stayed here for a bachelorette party and absolutely not suitable for a girls weekend. Amenities leave something to be desired- would suggest bringing your own bath towels, sheets, and hand held mirrors as there is only one mirror in the one bathroom. Pullout sleeper had two sets of sheets provided and both smelled like mildew. You have no access to a washer or dryer.

    Katelyn2017-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • This airbnb was perfect for our girls weekend! We loved all of the cute decor.
