Live the myth by staying in a cave that used to be a sailor's domicile back in 1875. Today after a full restoration, it has been turned into a jewel, keeping its traditional cave-curved Aegean island style with its pearl white walls.
“Staying in Lava Caves truly feels like a resort experience. The staff takes care of you in a way I’ve never experienced through Airbnb. If you’d like, the staff will help arrange transportation to/from the port as well as other touristic experiences on the island. They were always close by when we had questions. We did have two power outages during our stay (one of which was a village-wide outage), but the staff was incredibly responsive and got it fixed as quickly as possible. Katerina even called halfway through our trip to chat and ask how we’ve liked everything. The space and the view is amazing- a true caldera view. The balcony is not totally private, but it does face a smaller, more secluded road, so we felt we had enough privacy. The free breakfast provided every morning was fresh and delicious. The staff was even able to accommodate our breakfast delivery time based on our preferences. You do have to walk quite a few stairs to get down to the AirBnb from the main road- we didn’t mind this at all, but someone with disabilities may want to find a home closer to the main road. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Lava Caves and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a luxurious way to enjoy Santorini.”

“Everything was clean and pleasant. One should note the tip for the trip to Amsterdam and take the bicycles to the Matterhon stop (over the bridge). From there you can travel with the Amsterdam ticket. The accommodation was a bit smaller than expected but ideal for two people and for the fact that it was basically only one room, very well distributed and designed. We found a lot of equipment in the kitchen, so we hardly ate outside but preferred to cook. The lounge by the water is perfect for relaxing and taking a deep breath after a long day in Amsterdam. If we were to go to Amsterdam again, we would choose this property again. All in all, the price-performance ratio is optimal. The hosts really respond VERY quickly to questions etc.”
Wisteria Lodge has been created to give our guests a private, peaceful, cosy stay with a rustic feeling of getting away from it all. There are stunning views of Dartmoor from your decking. Perfect for walks on the Moor, the wonderful Beaches or just peacefully watching your favourite movies. I also want to reasure you that as the impact of the COVID 19 begins to really take hold, I have increased surface sanitisation/cleaning and endeavour to stay up to date via the Government website.
“An idyllic weekend in otherwise busy lives! We visited Canonteign falls, which was beautiful, as we're the reservoirs nearby. The dog has had a blast! The cabin is beautiful and the views are stunning. Loved listening to the sheep in the neighbouring field. It was fab having a secure space for the puppy to enjoy. You will find everything you need and more, including a bottle of bubbly waiting for you in the fridge. A truly peaceful and relaxing stay x”
