This is a spacious apartment above detached garage, with a roomy balcony. The property sits on the Rappahannock River- guests are welcome to use the beach and dock! Property has a private entrance. The bathroom which is located on the first floor. Apartment is up a flight of stairs above the garage. Plenty of parking. EV charger available. We have self check in and the host is extremely flexible.. We welcome all tenants! The Birds Nest is a perfect getaway destination for relaxing and fun.

What a beautiful oasis on the Rappahannock River! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our four-day stay at this charming waterfront home. We spent hours relaxing on the porch, listening to the birds—it truly felt like a bird sanctuary. The house was spotless, well-organized, and equipped with all the essentials, making us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

The Fernwood Cottage

Jessica's home is perfect. The house was spotless with wonderful white cotton linens. The house is open and airy and very comfortable with spectacular views of the river. We really enjoyed fishing off the pier. We prepared most of our meals at the house and had everything we needed right there. It is such a beautiful setting we didn't want to leave. We did venture out a few afternoons to shop in Kilmarnock and Warsaw. Both were an easy drive from the house. Jessica was an excellent host and contacted us upon arrival to be sure we had everything we needed and to see if we had any questions. This was our absolute favorite air bnb stay and we hope to return again soon.

Water and Beachfront River House

We really enjoyed our stay! Spent the weekend playing yard games, playing basketball, and played golf at the local course. Was exactly what I was looking for to get a group of guys together. We really appreciated that a new cornhole set was purchased and delivered the day we checked in as well! Jeanette was extremely helpful and very responsive. House was also very clean and matched the pictures exactly. Definitely recommend staying here for a fun getaway!
