Vacation rentals in Essex County

Renee was a great host. Check in was easy, the garage and doors were easy to use, Renee was responsive to all of our questions and the house comfortably slept our family of 2 adults, 3 kids and a baby. There are a ton of amenities like a wine fridge and smart TV that meant we could have a chilled glass of red while the kids found their favorite shows. The house is beautiful and sits on a scenic hillside in South Orange. It’s easy to walk up the hill and see panoramas of NYC. We loved walking to get bagels with our kids or grabbing pizza from one of the many great spots nearby. The streets are also great for running with wide running lanes and challenging hills. We had such a great time spending most of July here.

Our 3 week stay with Judy went as smoothly as we could possibly have hoped. Judy is an excellent host and went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Communication was simple and we had everything we needed for a great stay. The space and location were both perfect for our needs. We look forward to staying with Judy again in the future!

Sherri’s place is a timeless and enchanting refuge. We occupied two levels of her beautiful, warm, comfortable, New England home for Christmas 2024. This place is stunning. Gorgeous rooms with luxurious yet welcoming decor gave the sense we were being coddled. A lot of our time was spent at in-laws/relatives nearby, but honestly — ‘coming home’ each evening after family dinner, or shows in the city, was something we looked forward to. Luxurious bedding, perfect pillows, soft lights and morning coffee became an unexpected enhancement to our “Christmas in New England” vacation. We came to be with family and celebrate a holiday. I can happily report that the experience was only enhanced in unexpected ways because of this amazing lodging choice we made, and Sherri’s forethought and attention to details that make memories enduring.

My family and I had an amazing stay at King’s Airbnb! King was incredibly accommodating, even waiting for us late at night to welcome us and show us around the apartment. The space was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and perfect for a family. My wife and kids loved how comfortable and well-equipped everything was. The location was ideal – just minutes from EWR and a quick trip to NYC. King’s attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable. We’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to families or anyone visiting the area!

Luis was a great host. The space was much larger than expected and very accommodating for the four of us. The AC was available in both bedrooms and even a third window unit in the spacious living room too! It was turned on low which was perfect, was also very quiet which made it very comfortable for NJ in late July especially upon our arrival after a 7 hour drive from Canada. Private second floor self-contained unit as described on photos and would stay again anytime if NJ and NYC is our destination. Felt like home! Luis was able to accommodate our slightly early check-in which was very appreciated. Great location for us, even better host, great value for our stay.

The place was beautiful, I loved the view of the city. The host was great, she was very responsive and very helpful. The home was spotless , had a lot of things we needed for our stay. Would stay again.

I had the pleasure of staying at Sunday’s beautiful Airbnb that had all the accommodations that you could possibly need and more. I must say if you are a music lover, you need to put some respect on the sound bar that’s available in the living room. (But obviously keep it at a modest volume). Thank you so much Sunday for making such a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy!
