Lazaro and his wife are great hosts. Lazaro was attentive to my needs and took the time to advise me on the activities to do in Santa Clara in very good English. Their home is well located and close to the main points of interest of Santa Clara. The room is well equipped and very clean, the bed very comfortable. What good memories of my stay in their home. Elaine is an endearing, communicative, kind, and friendly woman who helps you with everything you need. She adapted to my arrival by checking me in first thing in the morning. The location is excellent and the apartment is totally comfortable and private. I would definitely stay in his apartment again.

Rosa is a very nice and very helpful lady. It was like being at my grandmother's or my mother's house. I highly recommend breakfast and a chat with her, one of the most genuine people and one of the most beautiful mornings spent in Cuba. Really recommended! Thanks for everything :)

Stop scrolling and book this casa right now! If you want to know why, read below ! (: We had an amazing stay at the casa. If you come to Santa Clara by the Viazul bus, it is a close walk to her casa. When we arrived at night (12:30am), Sheila was waiting for us at the casa. Even in the night she opened the door with her bright smile and welcomed us to her casa. The next morning a huge breakfast was served to us and at night she also cooked us a lovely dish the traditional Ropa Vieja. De mini bar was also a nice plus and was refilled every day. She also changed our bedsheet and towels for us without asking. Thank you so much for that. We stayed for 2 nights in her casa, because it was so close to the center we could walk there. Near her house are some small shops owned by people living in the house. It is super cheap. If you want to change money, Sheila recommended us to go to “ casa de cambion “ which is a 10 minute walk away from the casa. It has a really good exchange rate, so we would recommend it too. Be aware of the scammers in front of the office, so DON’T change money on the street! Even if they say they have the best rate! Dear Sheila, thanks again for our pleasant stay at your casa, if we ever come back to Santa Clara we will definitely come back to your casa.
