Vacation rentals with lake access in Erie County

After arriving in Buffalo for a weekend with the family, we arrived at a horrific vrbo location. This was very stressful and was looking for something very last minute that would fit our family. I reached out to this listing to request booking and heard back within 15 minutes. They were responsive and kind. The price was good and the location was great within distances to downtown Buffalo an Highmark Stadium. I was thrilled with the response and communication. Arriving at the Airbnb thrilled us even more. It was so clean and the instructions to access were helpful and accurate. We enjoyed our stay and had fun using the ping pong table in the basement. The cleanliness was top notch and they even were kind enough to leave a few snacks and coffee pods. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. This came as such a huge relief after our prior experience. I would definitely recommend booking with them for a stay in Buffalo.

We were a party of a married couple, 3 teenagers and a toddler (with two pets)! We had a fantastic time! We didn’t want to leave lol. The porch is a perfect hangout with a fireplace for s’mores. The beach is very close! The house literally has everything supply wise. It felt like stepping right into our own home. There was even a guest house on the property when you wanted a little peace and quiet alone or let the teens go play their games together. We will definitely be back! Communication was excellent with the host the whole time! There was a local grocery store, liquor store and lots of parks to keep the toddler busy. Next time will bring the frisbee disks and head out to Evangola State Park again.

Lisa's home was the highlight of our family get-together. The house is so comfortable and clean. We played games, cooked, and celebrated Easter. The location by the river is perfect. We all left with smiles!!

It is a great place to stay - very easy to get to nice restaurants and enough room for a whole family.

A great farm house right on a stream that had fisherman in it EVERY DAY we were there. Big stream, just far enough away that you could see them! The whole house has a great feel with the fancy red bathroom but all the charm of a traditional old house. Can’t wait to stay there again!

This Airbnb was the best I have ever said! Great neighborhood, beautiful views near the lake, lots of space and amazing hosts! What more could I have asked for.

Pam was a lovely host and had plenty of recommendations for things to do, and her place was super peaceful! Lake Erie is not to be missed, and Buffalo is only an hour drive away so I’ll definitely be coming back to see more of it in the warmer months. Pam is wonderful to talk to, as well; we had a bonfire on the beach to stargaze and comet watch on my last night. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer! I came during the off-season with the intent to be a bit of a homebody and just read with the waves of the lake in the background, and that’s exactly what I got and more. It’s a gorgeous area when all the leaves are changing and even though I didn’t meet too many people, the people I did were very friendly.

Had a great overnight stay in the apartment Will definitely be back so much to do around the entire area. Quiet little spot able to walk to get some spot coffee in the morning was a nice addition. Parking was easy and organized and the apartment is best described as spotless; super clean. Friendly hosts and will be adding to my list of stay agains.

Comfortable, cozy apartment

A very nice place that was walkable to bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. Enjoyed our 5 weeks there. Would definitely like to stay here again for an extended time. Appreciate Brian being responsive to just 2 minor problems that were resolved immediately. We were in town for work and all food recommendations were a hit and I would recommend to anyone who hasn’t been in the area. Top notch place in a top notch neighborhood. Thank you.

Jolee was very nice and welcoming to her place. We loved and enjoy our stay. She gave us a list of places and things to do in the area which was very helpful. I’d recommend this place to anyone who looking for a little cozy place to stay as the have fun in the Buffalo area!

My wife, 8 month old son and I needed a last minute place to stay when a family emergency happened and we had to travel to Buffalo. Found this greatly priced stay avaliable and requested our stay. Ron was almost instant in approving us, and sent us our stay information right away. Ron messaged us upon checking in, making sure we had everything we need and that the place was to our satisfaction. Absolutely no issues with cleanliness, comfort, etc. This was an adorable beach house to come back to after visiting in the hospital. Lots of attractions around, and the beach right across the street (obviously a bit too cold for the beach this time of year, but I'm sure it would be great during the summer!) Wife and I discussed coming back to this stay when it's nicer out, on better terms. Couldn't recommend this house/host enough. Thanks again, Ron!

Our second time staying here…peaceful, comfortable and beautiful surroundings.

This was our second stay at Lizs cottage and we cant wait to make it back for a another stay! Its everything u could ask for and more..close to the beach ⛱️ and extremely comfortable for my family of 4. We attended a Bills game and the commute from cottage to stadium was so convenient and fast.. within 20 minutes of leaving the game my kids and i were cooking smores back at the cottage in the fire pit ! Liz had a basket out welcoming us back with smores and treats for my kids and they absolutely loved the personal touch ! Honestly we wouldnt stay anywhere else .. cottage is clean cozy and has everything for a nice quiet week at the beach !

We had a wonderful week at Sunset! This cottage is a great location! Less than 10 minute walk to the beach with restaurant, bar, and ice cream shop. Also really conveniently located to other stores such as Dollar General and Tops. This location makes it very easy getting in and out of Sunset Bay. Loved that it included beach passes! Has a great deck and great yard that give a nice break from the beach. Air conditioning adds a lot of value to this booking. Really spacious inside, plenty of room for our 2 kids and dog. Only reason I gave a 3 for cleanliness is that the kitchen counters didn’t seem to be wiped down. Not a deal breaker though - would definitely rent again!
