Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Erewash District

This is a new house on a new estate; it's a building site on Google maps but easy to find from Ben's directions. Clean and tidy, pictures/descriptions are accurate and excellent communication from Ben. Everything we needed for a short break.

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was clean and spacious and as described. Alison was very helpful and replied to all queries within a matter of minutes every time. We enjoyed the Italian down the road and our trip to Alton Towers and hope to come back again in the future.

Great spot, perfect for exploring Buxton and the surrounding area. Lovely house and although the bedrooms are a tad small we only needed them to sleep in and that was more than made up for in the excellent kitchen, garden and living areas. Perfect for a girlie getaway! Grace was a great host, very responsive to messages. Some basic kitchen bits and bobs (including mini milk bottle!) were a nice touch. Would stay again

We had a good few days at Matthew's place, which was easy to find, and very convenient for what we wanted to do locally. Matthew is a very responsive host, and easy to get hold of. We appreciated the little touches, like a bottle of wine in the fridge after a long journey and chocolates on the pillows. Our son didn't want to leave when we left 🤣.

The property is stunning, roomy, well stocked with utensils, crocks etc. It was clean, linen fresh, beautiful surroundings. Chris has obvious pride in his property, and it is clear to see. Barbecue and Hot Tub on patio, picnic table and lovely garden furniture. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

Belinda’s flat is absolutely lovely. Very peaceful, neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe, it’s a lovely residential street. 5 mins from bus stop, easy buses into city and beyond. Car parking, permit from Belinda, parked right outside, no problem at all. Clear guides for the heating, waste etc, which is always helpful. Belinda left a welcome pack of provisions that I hardly made a dent in during my 3 night stay. It was very handy as I never had to go to the shops. Had 3 of the best night sleeps for a long while, comfortable bed and really nice pillows, not the usual “bricks”. Never got to meet Belinda unfortunately, I was out all day at the cricket. But she had messaged me with her mobile in case I needed anything. The perfect host. I would definitely stay again if ever back in Nottingham and, would certainly recommend Belinda’s flat.

Great Airbnb with great hosts. Very communicative, friendly and helpful. The place was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Only thing to note is that it is not very soundproof from the noises of the street (birds, university kids out and about, etc.) so I would recommend bringing some ear plugs.

A clean, warm and comfortable apartment approximately 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Andrews communication was spot on from booking to departure. We would definitely stay again when revisiting Buxton.

From booking to check in all communications were fast clear and friendly. The place was immaculatebwith all amenities you need and more. Some lovely touches with the games machine, board games, dab radio and more. Beds were very comfy wirh lovely linen. Location was great. 10 min walk from the opera house. Yes its uphill coming home but nothing too strenuous. Lots of shops around the apartment if you need anything. Parking on the side street was no problem. We loved our stay and will certainky be back as we use the opera house often. Highly recomended hosts 🌟🌟🌟

Small and perfectly formed! They left breakfast and milk for us, and the place was spotless. Beautiful rural location. They let me charge my electric car for a small extra fee which was much appreciated. This m you very much!

Very nice clean apartment would definitely stay again. Only downside is there was a gentleman directly above us who was very loud throughout the night, constantly going in and out at stupid times. Playing music and the tv was loud enough that I could hear it directly below us. Apart from that the stay was fantastic and would recommend :)

We had a lovely stay over new year, cosy fireplace and friendly pubs within walking distance.

our stay in Buxton was a really good weekend we stayed in a very clean and well self contained flat the cobbles Sarah was on hand 24 7 if needed highly recommended

A great find and perfect home from home for me and my boys whilst exploring the Peak District. Pool table was a huge hit. Place was clean and really spacious. Picture‘s do not give it any justice. Right in the centre of Buxton so walking distance to shops and restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice touch to find a bottle of wine and milk on arrival. Will most definitely stay again. A great stay at Sarah and Nick's place and we would definitely return. Great communication ahead of staying and nice hospitality in supplying milk, bread and some homemade jam. Much appreciated! The apartment is lovely and is within easy walking distance of Leek. No issues with parking and a 5 minute walk to the local Asda. We found Leek to be a lively town with some really good restaurants, and of course close to The Peaks. The locals in the Blue Mugge pub, a few minutes from the apartment, we're also really friendly. Highly recommended

An amazing weekend James was such a great host & this place was home from home … we will be back. The park Inn for a Sunday evening was the icing on the cake. Brilliant evening

Brilliant spot. Everything you need in one spot. Bed was very comfy and relaxing. This has no impact on the location or the place itself. Really enjoyed our stay.
