This charming home was exactly as advertised in the description and photos. Jordana made special accommodations for my small family, and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. Toward the end of our visit, a snowstorm caused a town-wide power outage. Jordana went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during this time and she responded to our questions quickly. She was also understanding when we needed to check out early due to the weather-related outage. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this home.

We were so grateful to stay at Ambers place. We had brief visit to view the eclipse and coming back to this spotless, extremely comfortable, and peaceful spot was so nice after a full day out in the elements. The kitchen had everything we could need and the space really felt welcoming. My husband commented on how comfortable the couch was no fewer than three times. Amber was so accommodating and helpful, we really couldn’t have asked for a better home for the night.

Lyn and Bruce are wonderful people..this is our 5th stay with them! Always helpful and an all around great hosts! Place is always clean, the view is beyond words of beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice! God willing, we will go back again next year, same time. same place!

Warren and I were very pleased with our stay at The Lodge. Nancy communicated very well before and during our visit, and she went above and beyond in helpfulness once we arrived. She and her husband were extremely kind hosts. They were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Our accommodations were so pleasant, as well, and we felt right at home. And Nancy's blueberry muffins were scrumptious! We'll definitely make a return visit to Nancy's place whenever we visit Maine again.

Deb’s place offers a unique, non-traditional escape nestled in the stunning mountains of Maine. With so much to explore nearby, it feels like stepping back in time, where meaningful interactions take center stage. As city dwellers, we found ourselves embracing the simple pleasures of life here, learning that happiness doesn’t require much. Our host, Deb, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. She’s truly a gem. We had a wonderful time with Cody and the other horse, adding to the charm of the experience. The property is breathtaking, more beautiful than pictures can capture. We’ll definitely be returning!

This was our 2nd stay at The Red Rose which happens to be in my hometown, though I moved away years ago. I return to Rumford once or twice per year to visit family and friends and with a shortage of places to say, I came upon The Red Rose here on airbnb and was totally impressed with the reviews/photos and booked our first stay 2 years ago. What a cozy/welcoming place to be. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again, felt right at home, and will return. We have/will always highly recommend The Red Rose. Thank you both and Happy Holidays!

Courtney was an excellent host- she was always responsive and went out of her way to accommodate our special requests. She and her husband have put in a lot of effort in making this cabin a warm and welcoming home. Everything about this place is picture perfect- the lake view, the bonfire in the backyard, the kayaking and much more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place and would highly recommend it.

Cute little place in a quiet residential neighborhood. House was clean, nice bed linens, nice hot shower with lots of towels. If I have any criticisms I’d say the bathroom vanity is a bit too small, and the upper kitchen cabinets are higher than standard, so were a stretch for us to reach even the bottom shelves for dishes, etc. But all told, a descent place and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our 3rd visit to Mahony Manor did not disappoint! It's cozy, quiet, and our pups love the trails. We cooked, relaxed by the wood stove and got snowed in. My favorite is coffee on the landing! Thanks again, it's become a home a home away from home.

We cannot thank Steve enough. We were in town for a family event and Steve was very accommodating. I work from home and Wi-Fi was wonderful, the space was quiet and cozy. Beautiful back area with view of the river and we even had time to do a few hikes around the area. This will be our go to spot when in town visiting family. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay, easy to catch the shuttle at the end of the driveway and head out for a day of skiing. It was great to come home and relax by the fireplace after a full day on the hill. Wonderful layout, having the bedrooms upstairs away from the main area for privacy.

Fantastic, secluded, immaculate! Melissa provided clear instructions, and this wonderful spot in the Carabasset Valley area is very close to the Narrow Gauge trail, as well as the Maine Huts trail. Tufulios, a very good local restaurant, is within walking distance. Super cozy, clean, and perfect for this low key couple!

A very peaceful stay in the off season! Kitchen had lots of extras which made cooking a pleasure! Very comfy furniture and beds!

Lauren’s place was just what we needed for our getaway to sugarloaf. An amazing, spacious and clean condo with ample room for the whole group. It had everything we needed and more! This is a great property to stay at if you're skiing, golfing, hiking or exploring around Sugarloaf. It's well located near trails and the bus stop. Lauren was a great host and provided detailed information to ensure our stay went smoothly. Would definitely recommend a stay at Lauren’s place!

We love staying at Amy’s! This our third year renting from Amy. It is nice to be on mountain and have all the many possibilities surrounding the condo. Amy’s place is always clean, free of clutter and comfortable. We have never had any complaints when we visit.

We had a fantastic stay at First Tracks! The beautiful views of the Bigelow Range were breathtaking and added to the overall charm of the house. It offered easy access to the mountain for outdoor adventures. After a day of exploring, we loved relaxing in the hot tub—it was the perfect way to unwind. The home was clean and had all amenities need. Aka was communicative and accommodating. This was our second stay at First Tracks. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful stay! The location is only a 5 minute walk from all the amenities that Sugarloaf mountain has to offer. The condo was clean, spacious, and felt secluded during this time of year. The layout of the kitchen and living room gives a communal feeling, where everyone can spend time together, but the bedrooms are well separated in case you want privacy. I would highly recommend this location for families or groups of friends.
