(Walking access is only 2 mi away). We are nestled in the middle of the gateway to Olympic National Park, and everything this area has to offer. We are only 10 miles from Port Angeles. Welcome to one of the most beautiful and pristine lakes in North America - Lake Sutherland. Situated between entrances to Olympic National Park, this spectacular lake front cottage is 608 sq ft with high ceilings, a modern design and a 1,400 sq ft dock to take in the sweeping views of the mountains. The cabin's gracious floor to ceiling windows let you soak in the views while you cozy up by the fireplace. Whether you are inside or out, you will be getting your much needed dose of nature.

Boutique hotel-style private suite—part of a larger home surrounded by trees. Guests say our space is “beautiful, peaceful and clean.” You may hear some light noise transfer or see others guests (or our family) on the property. Here you can barbeque up dinner, relax by the fire, sit on the porch and enjoy your favorite movie on the projector. Then you can fall asleep listening to the sounds of nature with a crackling fire to keep you warm. You may wake up to the sound of a rooster crowing as you steep a fresh cup of coffee before you head out on your adventure exploring all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer.

Mountain View Shire Getaway

Relax and enjoy the amazing view from the deck of this unique glamping site. This hillside getaway was created from a culvert and planted into the side of a hill, nestled among trees and forest flora. Low voltage lighting, propane on demand hot water, cook top and heater. The view overlooks a pond, the valley below with Mt. Baldy in the background. An outdoor shower also has an awesome view! This countryside glamping site is near the ONP, Discovery trail, and Port Angeles.

Olympic National Park, The Wapiti Rose

Hand built by a former Olympic National Park back country carpenter and trail builder this home is both a work of art and a tribute to the forest of the Olympic Peninsula. The home shows the love, care and respect of the natural environment that he maintained in the Park during his years of service. Now owned by Jeffery and Sophia they hope to carry on his traditions and allow you to enjoy their home while they continue working and traveling.

Madrona Retreat

Madrona retreat is on 25 acres 6 miles west of Port Angeles. Cozy and quiet, nestled among evergreens, it is the perfect base camp for relaxing and unwinding between adventures. The barn loft is a stone's throw from Olympic National Park, the Elwha River and the Olympic Discovery Trail. This hidden gem is close enough to Port Angeles for convenience with all the benefits of being secluded in the beautiful Pacific NW countryside.

River House is a 2672sf home on a high bank above the Elwha River across from the Olympic National Park. A deck with a barbeque and a hot tub has views of the River and mountains. The clean air of the Olympics makes for brilliant stars in the deep blue night sky.
