Casa do Postigo exceeds all expectations, especially in person. Well-equipped, well-decorated and cozy. We were just sorry we only booked one night.

We had a lovely stay at Joaquim’s place. It is a large studio space (possibly a former dance studio?), with a well equipped kitchen. We loved the swimming pool and it was so welcome in the heat. Joaquim was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and also provided good information on Moura. The supermarkets are conveniently close at hand, and everything in the town is walking distance. We tried a couple of restaurants - Vermulhudo and André’s - both really good with a lively atmosphere. We climbed to the top of the tower at the castle, had a boat trip at the Alqueva dam, visited the oil press museum and generally enjoyed Moura which is very pretty. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back.

This is our second stay at this property. It is situated in a lovely area below the hilltop medieval town of Castelo de Vide. The grounds are spectacular with trees, plants, rock work and charming details. There are several exterior spaces for quiet reflection as well as dining. There are views both large and small. A rooftop terrace is perfect for morning coffee accompanied by chirping birds, the tinkling of bells from the necks of sheep grazing near by, and the sound of the fountain feeding the pool. Or for cocktails at sunset. It is heaven! The house is quite large, with ample space for gathering both indoors and out. Suzanne, the hostess, is very responsive and helpful with suggestions about places to see, local restaurants and events. We will be back.

It was like a retreat! It was just what we needed: rest, calm, privacy. We were able to catch up on our tanning and reading. Having breakfast outdoors is such a simple thing, but in the rush of life it is not so easy and at Ana's house it was mandatory! We loved all the sunsets we watched and hope to return. Marvão is undoubtedly wonderful. We recommend Paulo Gouveia's studio where we bought a beautiful painting where cork is the main character. It will have a special place in our living room where we will remember this vacation filled with peace and harmony. We wish Ana and her space the greatest success and thank her for all the tips and the tasty bottle of wine she left us!

The place was beautiful with amazing amenities. It was very relaxing and in a good location, not far from the main town. I would stay again.

We spent a really enjoyable time in this property! The space was not only comfortable and clean but turned out to be great for children as well. The kids enjoyed discovering the place and having fun with the amenities, and we enjoyed watching them having so much joy. I would definitely recommend this place to families who want to unwind and spend quality time!

We spent a few days, with the family, at Miguel's accommodation. Everything was perfect for us. Homes were comfortable. The common space was large and well organized for the conviviality. We really liked

Housing large enough for a family. It met our expectations, as we were looking for a relatively close and well-connected accommodation, but not within large cities. It has the necessary amenities, tidy and clean with good ventilation and bright. Self check-in is available. I don't consider it suitable for people with reduced mobility because you have to climb stairs and the entrance has a step that prevents access with wheelchairs. Parking is easy, right at the door. There are cafes and small shops within a hundred meters and a small recommended bakery (Tahona Díaz). The owner, Andrés, responded quickly to messages and was very cordial. In general, recommended if you're looking for tranquility and good connections to visit Extremadura.

Second time staying here. The apartment is beautiful, one of the best Airbnbs we've used. It has everything, even the details you don't expect like a toothbrush or soap for the washing machine. Veronica responds super quickly to any questions and is very friendly. The area is ideal, you can get everywhere easily. I had to telework a couple of days and it was a luxury to work there.

I would recommend to anyone looking for a 5-star and 😊 super attentive getaway from the city.

We love everything. Maria Francisca and her husband are extremely polite, helpful, friendly and always available. Their place is exactly like in the pictures. A not so modern house, but with all the comforts and comfort. The air-conditioning is also excellent. I highly recommend and as soon as possible, we will be back.

Mrs. Maria de Fátima was always very helpful everything met the expectations the house was how in the pictures and scent they offered a good wine of the region toast and sweet pumpkin 🎃 with walnuts and maps of the city also thank you very much and I will even recommend

Spent three weeks in this charming house. Absolutely unique place. Situated in a hidden valley with beautiful surroundings. Lovely walks directly from the house, nothing other than natural sounds make relaxing in the garden a real pleasure and the lack of light pollution makes for stunning star gazing. Daniel is an excellent host for whom nothing is too much trouble. We loved staying here and would recommend it unreservedly.

No words can describe how nice Carla is and how friendly and inviting she is along with her daughter. We felt right at home and her place was very comfortable, clean and the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. I recommend her place to anyone who wants a country side retreat with the most amazing views and not too far from the town centre.
