Great place to stay for families and larger groups with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Large house in a beautiful location just a short drive from Alness and 30 minutes to Inverness making it a great base to explore the Scottish Highlands.

Lovely stay, easy communication with Vera before the booking. Literally 2 minute walk from the beach and 5 minutes walk from the high street so easy to access anything we could have needed. If we're up in the area again we'll be booking here.

Our third visit and it won’t be our last. We love the location and the cottage is so cosy. It’s quickly become our favourite getaway and this was a January holiday rather than a summer one and it’s just as magical!

We had a lovely weekend at The Squirrels, it was the perfect setting for a get together with friends. We all slept amazingly as the beds are soo comfortable and Sarah, the host, was very helpful and responded quickly when we had questions! Would definitely be back :) thanks Sarah! X

Perfect place for a family or group of friends to stay, comfortable, peaceful and convenient to many Highland activities. Cool outdoor space for happy hour, kids enjoyed darts and pool in the converted garage. Kay was delightful with many excellent recommendations and full of enthusiasm for the Highlands and Scotland. She gave us nice ideas for activities and places to eat and made us feel very welcome on arrival. Hope to visit Scotland again one day!

We had a large family gathering that needed a special location to be right. This home fit that description perfectly. Each of our family group was able to have their own bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The living room spaces, kitchen and dining room allowed us to have a large gathering with ease. The TV and kids play area were perfect for our family of 7. The view was amazing and the location just about 10-15 mins from Inverness. The host and assistant made our visit top notch. We were lucky to find such a great spot for this family adventure. I cant recommend higher.

Beautiful views and property. We felt right at home and would come back in a heartbeat. There were so many cute and beautiful things in the house and basically everything you need and then some more. We also saw deers visit the gardens and had a beautiful time overall,

Beautifully crafted renovation and still has the old church charm. Easy stroll into town and it’s couple of pubs and grocery store. Had plenty of handy items in the pantry (oils/sauces etc). Neil was very timely with local questions etc. My party loved the place and the horses strolling by was a great bonus.

Carol's place was comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay easy and nice. The location was great and our kids loved having the pool and playground right out front. We would definitely stay again if we go back to the area.

This was another very pleasant, peaceful and beautiful stay of many, while working on a project in Aberdeenshire. I finally had the chance to swim in their private pool on the estate due to my work load, and it was a soothing relaxing evening. The bird song is a wonderful way to wake up in their cosy bed and warm cottage. Thank you again. Matilda and brown dog.

Had a lovely two-night stay at Badger’s Den with a few friends. The bedrooms are very compact, but the living area was nicely spacious. The kitchen was well-stocked and two toilets (one with shower) were appreciated. It’s a short walk to the absolutely stunning beach, though the caravan park pool was an extra charge. Overall, a great small place for a short stay.

Just returned from a 2 night stay. We had a wonderful stay. The caravan was spotlessly clean, well stocked with utensils, and was in a great location. Our children loved walking over to the park. The beaches are superb. We will be back. Thank you!

Sarah was a fantastic host and really friendly. She kindly delivered new garden furniture which was really appreciated given the lovely weather. A great caravan with everything you need.

We stayed at The Grange No 5 for two weeks, and I have nothing but positive things to say. The little space was perfect for everything we needed, and we felt so at home. Everything was neat and tidy, and Shoana was on top of everything we might need. We appreciated the detailed instructions provided, and were so grateful for the quiet retreat. The beach is just a 0.5 mi walk from the house, and all of the attractions we wanted to see were within a 30-40 minute maximum range. Also all the little brochures provided helped us find hidden gems in the area (the Peterhead Prison Museum is a must!). We would 100% stay here again given the chance and highly recommend it!

lovely home, clean, and perfect for staying with a toddler. Train tracks are just behind the house, which might be a problem if you are sensitive to noise but the trains were not so frequent so it was not an issue for us, it even became an entertainment for the toddler!

We had a wonderful stay here. Chalet is calm and peaceful. The view out of the lounge window is beautiful! Excellent location; just 10 minutes to the local Co-op and a short drive to all the activity places that we’d planned. It was great to come back after a day exploring and chill. Lots of memories made! Would highly recommend!

Excellent host, superb location. If you’re looking for a place with outstanding views in a quiet and peaceful area: that’s the place! Inverness in 20 minutes, local distillery and golf course close by. The accommodation had everything we needed and is well kept, superb location clean and tidy. Would love to go there again (immediately). All thumbs up for Julie and her team!

What an amazing place. We absolutely loved all the photos and stories describing the history of the place and how it had been in Cat's family for generations. It really added to the personality of the place. We loved the oldie-worldie furniture but yet had everything we needed to be comfortable. Lovely wood burning stove. Great for wildlife. We can't wait to return. Thanks for everything Cat!

Great stay in great location! Jack is a great host and his place is perfect for anybody visiting Aviemore. Shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the property.

We came here to get away from the stresses of everyday life and to have a well needed recharge. Had a wonderful stay and haven't felt so relaxed in a long time, credit to Paco and Gunta for offering a wonderful experience. If we are looking for somewhere to stay in the area this would be the only place we would want to come back too.
