Fantastic views, very clean, incredibly helpful host with great recommendations. We were so sad to leave!

We have just stayed at Villa Angelos and cannot rate the villa, location and host highly enough! The villa is extremely spacious and very clean on the inside and outside. The pool was large and very well maintained, and this villa offers a lot of privacy from neighbours. The location was great, near the sea and walkable to local restaurants / shops. We did hire a car and I'm glad we did as we were able to explore some beautiful places further afield. The host for our villa lives in the nearby town and was extremely friendly and helpful before and during our stay. I had not used AirBnB for a foreign stay before and was a little apprehensive but Marcus and John helped me feel right at ease. From the moment I booked there was impeccable communication. John ensured we were comfortable during the stay and even was kind enough to supply groceries for when we arrived. We were given loads of great recommendations for locally and further afield. We will 100% be back!!

A little slice of PARADISE! Even more beautiful in real life than in photos. The view is splendid, the house is superb and extremely clean. Stelio is very attentive throughout the stay, from the delicious meal on arrival to the surprises on departure. We were hosted very well. Thank you for this unforgettable stay. We had a great stay at Villa Solaris. The outdoor area was fantastic, including a heated pool and BBQ with several outside seating areas. There were also lovely views of the nearby mountains towards Lake Kournas. The villa was well stocked with fruit, veg and other basic ingredients on arrival, which was very welcome. Our hosts - Giannis and Stelios - were very responsive and hospitable. They greeted us on arrival and throughout our stay, and even left us with some raki and olive oil at the end. We would recommend having a car for easy access to Chania and Rethmyno, as there are not a lot of nice tavernas / shops within walking distance. However, there is a relatively well stocked supermarket approx. 10 min walk away.

Breathtaking view! The house is brand new, it corresponds exactly to the pictures shown. The pool is very large & during the day there is a perfect mix of sunny and shady spots. There are many small taverns nearby, you never had to drive far. Very clear recommendation for this villa, it is perfect & we would love to come back anytime!

Without a doubt my favourite airbnb to date. The area and luxury of this villa will make you feel on top of the world. Pantelis had beyond exceptional communication, he was so helpful with anything that was needed. The location is fantastic, close to town and a couple beaches. I could not recommend this place more. Easily accessible by a vehicle, easy parking. Truly loved this stay.

A Slice of Paradise – Five Stars All Around! We had the most incredible time staying at this large and stunning villa in the Loutraki/Chania area. The property is nothing short of breathtaking, with lush, beautifully maintained gardens and crystal-clear water right at your doorstep. The direct beach access was a dream—so easy and convenient—and we spent countless hours floating in the calm sea and enjoying the serene, quiet atmosphere. The views from every direction were spectacular, making it hard to leave the villa! The villa itself is exquisite, with a spacious, well-designed area for cooking and relaxing. It’s the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Demetrios, our host, went above and beyond, offering incredible hospitality and even surprising me with a birthday cake, which made our stay all the more special. If you’re looking for a tranquil, beautiful retreat this is the place!

The perfect villas for a big group, we loved both and had the most relaxing time around them. Location is close to all the local beaches and only a 10 minute taxi to Chania. Evi the host was excellent throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed at all times.

Villa Penelope is a beautiful place where you can spend a great time in a large group. Especially the outdoor area with a large pool is outstanding, the view over the sea is unique. Giorgos was always available within a very short time. We were even able to get to the villa earlier upon request. You need a car for activities or grocery-shopping. Thanks for everything, we would definitely come back!

This was our second visit to Daphnis Villas as we enjoyed 2 years ago. Maria is an extra sweet and very accommodating host. She took care of us anytime that we needed anything. She responded very quickly and made it feel like home to us. I would not recommend staying anywhere else.

We loved our stay in Crete and it was comfortably the best hospitality we've ever received from a host. Manolis was super responsive to messages (usually within 15 minutes) and George looked after us amazingly well (without being intrusive) and was always so happy. The villa was exactly as described and there were a couple of days where we cancelled our plans to explore in favour of sitting by the pool and looking out over the mountains, watching the vultures and other birds. So nice. The butcher recommended by Manolis made for some delicious barbecues and was very reasonably priced. Really beautiful and relaxing location with the best hosts. Would definitely come back in future.

Amazing stay! Views from the mountainside are incredible to wake up to every morning including sunrise and sunset. The view from the infinity pool was fantastic and had toys for children. The host Mr. George was always accommodating and even brought us eggs one morning :) would highly recommend

We had the most wonderful stay at Nimar Villas. We were a group of 7 and all agreed that it was a beautiful villa and had an incredible week. The view and sunsets are breathtaking, everything looks exactly like the photos if not better. Great host, made sure we had everything we needed and super responsive. Location is great but you must have a car if planning to leave the villa often. Would highly recommend and would love to return already!

The villa was beautiful - spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated and furnished. We were a large group of 6 adults and 4 young children, but the house and outside space were perfect for us. The pool was fabulous, with a stepped shallow end that was really safe for the toddlers. The villa has its own lovely garden and is located in the countryside, with views across to the coast. The road up to the villa is rough and needs to be taken slowly, but the house is perfectly situated and just a short drive from a choice of local facilities.

Maria hosted us very well and was available and responsive throughout the stay. The villa is situated in a quiet location and offers a beautiful view of the sea and Chania, which is about 25 minutes by car. Great if you're coming for a stay for families or groups of friends!

This little villa was the perfect find for us! On a beautiful little cove with a beach across the street, private pool, very quiet and serene—a great hike up to a cave on the adjoining mountain, restaurants and groceries nearby, drivable to many of the islands locales—but even if you only get to nearby Chania, it’s such a charming town and well worth it. Stavros is the most gracious of hosts, very responsive and thoughtful, left us treats, kitchen was well stocked with basics, and he was full of helpful information to make our stay amazing. Wish we’d stayed here longer, honestly!!

Effie looked after us well, always at our disposal and proactively offering help. The place was perfect for our needs, comfortable, flexible and easy to live in. The location is out of the way and up a hill, which makes it peaceful and serene. The neighbour cats were very friendly, one of them leaving the gift of a mouse on our doorstep overnight-we are vegetarians but it’s the thought that counts! We highly recommend this place.

Had a lovely stay here, the host was brilliant and let us have a late check out. The villa was nice and big with a fantastic pool and outside patio area. The rooms were spacious and well kept. The kitchen was perfect and had everything needed to cook with! Would 100% recommend! Thank you!

Nikos and Joanna were excellent hosts. Clear instructions of how to find the villa and greeted us on arrival. The villa is immaculate, very high end finish and the surrounding area is stunning. Close to both Chania and the Marina, both worth a visit. We have had a brilliant time with the family and will definitely be back again!

The Sunflower sets the bar for accommodations in Greece! Alex was always a msg & 5 mins away. Honestly you couldn't meet a nicer man. The place is beyond amazing - pool, location, quiet, safe.... There are so many restaurants 5 minute walk, and only a few minutes more to the main beach road (stores/ more restaurants/anything). If we come back to Greece, we are coming here. This place in conjunction with Crete has set a gold standard. Thank you Alex for making our stay memorable!

We felt right at home. The incredibly lovely owners and helpers of the house have contributed to this, in combination with this great place to stay.
