Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in El Portil

We had a great stay 😊 Cindy and Sergio were on hand to ensure we got to the Airbnb easily and arranged for an early check in. We were left with various snacks, fruit, water and juices which was brilliant with a 6 year old. The area was close to the ferries and cafes/restaurants.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Bonita, wonderful space and features, well equipped, comfortable beds. We enjoyed the outside eating area and terraces, once the weather improved. It was our first visit to Olhao and the eastern algarve. The Casa is within easy walking distance to the superb fish and fresh produce markets, ferries, restaurants and bars. We caught the ferry to Armona once and Farol twice and ate at the hosts recommended places, particularly loved the beach bar Maramais. We hired bikes from Cool Bike rentals and cycled the path to Fuseta and back, really enjoyed cycling through the salt pans and seeing all the bird life and wildflowers. Definitely hope to return.

Thank you Norbert for restoring our faith in Airbnb! The place was exactly as described, local to everything and nice little touches like beer and juice in the fridge were appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans as well as a range of condiments. Beds were comfortable and great choice on TV.

Had a fantastic stay. Was a great welcome by Isabel and was super easy check in and out. It was a perfect location to the main street with a brilliant selection of beautiful restaurants and shops. The home was lovely, really homely and had everything you need. We loved the rooftop view it was nice and private also. It's perfect location to everything with lots to do with the trips to the islands and Train station was just a few minutes walk away spent the day going to different places like Tavira & Monte Gordo and many more. We will definitely come back to stay again in the future

We had a lovely time staying here. The rooftop patio in the morning was a favorite. The three bathrooms was very convenient and the kitchen was well stocked. It is beautiful, authentic, and in a great location. I would note that all bathrooms are downstairs with the bedrooms and the living room/kitchen are upstairs. It was a little challenging for my 75 year-old mother. Wasn’t an issue for me or my daughter at all. Otherwise everything was just as advertised!

We met wonderful, likeable and helpful hosts with Karijn and Brian and immediately felt very welcome. In the very nice house Raminhas, very tastefully and exquisitely furnished, with a large property and very beautifully landscaped garden near the two houses, we recovered well and enjoyed our two weeks weeks. We say thank you to Karijn and Brian and will be happy to come back!

We would definitely stay again if allowed. It was a bit difficult to find on the first pass but Fernando arranged for someone to look out for us and show us in. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the town was lovely and walkable! Stay here if you are able!

We stayed at Cesar's place for three weeks for an athletics training camp. There was plenty of room for three guests. The stay met our expectations. The place was clean and included everything you needed to live for three weeks. The host was friendly and responsive to messages and requests. Check-in was very flexible and we were able to get there easily. From the photos, we assumed that the rooftop terrace would have been completely private, but it was shared among the other residents of the house. We didn't mind, though, because there was no traffic on the deck. I can recommend this stay!

This is a perfect location for a short combined work / break. Excellent outdoor space, fast internet, room to work, interesting old town and plenty to do if you want to go further afield. Super close to Faro airport and easy to get an Uber.

The House of Orchids was a wonderful vacation. Fatima was always reaching out to us to see if we needed anything and was quick to respond with lots of local information. Vila Real de Santo Antonio is a beautiful village with elegance. Not a party place but with lots of great restaurants, shopping and grocery stores within walking distance. The train is a short walk and easy to catch a train to take day trips to other villages for the day or see the rest of the Algarve. or a short walk to the marina for a day out in Spain. The apt was very spacious and comfortable with a very large courtyard where we used the outdoor grill a few times. The kitchen was well equipped and because we had a 4 week stay I was very happy to have the washing machine and dish washer. I would recommend this apt with pleasure. Thank you Fatima for a lovely holiday.

As other guests have mentioned, you are staying in a real home, not a place outfitted for short-term rentals. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, with a large fridge and ample cupboard space. Gabriela instructed us on restaurants and grocery shopping. The comfort of the apartment proved especially welcome, as we had a number of rainy cool days at the beginning of our stay, so remaining indoors was not a hardship. There is a large living room and dining area, the bedrooms are large and spacious, there is heating in each bedroom and the living room, there are throw rugs on the floor for warmth against the cool tiles, there are bedside tables and lights on both sides of each bed, and the terrace is large with spectacular views of Tavira. The steps up from the road to get to the neighborhood were a nonissue for us—they are easily manageable. We rented a car for a few days and there was a parking spot for us. There are no downsides to Gabriela’s beautiful unit.

Great check in with Bruno who showed us around, he runs the cafe round the corner (Kais Cafe), very good snacks and drinks. The apartment was massive with everything you needed, lovely private terrace and amazing views from the roof terrace. Close to some lovely restaurants and the beach, everything within walking distance. We did not meet Isidoro, but he was very helpful and even offered us use of the bikes in the garage 😄

Wonderful location, easy walk to restaurants and the river walk, street parking was easily findable (April), hosts met us upon check in and provided all relevant info, and, our favourite, a neat little cafe right outside the back door. Highly recommend!

The apartment is super comfortable. It has a terrace with great views and you feel at home. Adrian is attentive to everything. We'll be back.

The apartment was spacious and very well equipped. The location is great in terms of distance to ferries and restaurants. There's some traffic noise on the balcony but it was still great to sit out to have morning coffee and breakfast. We really appreciated the blackout blinds in the bedrooms. The hosts were very nice but slow to respond to questions. Overall, we would go stay there again if we return to Olhao.

Everything was perfect!! The place is great, everything was spotless and an unbeatable location. We had a great time and will do it again. Thank you in particular Irina, who is charming, responded immediately to all our doubts and even approached the house to explain the operation of the air conditioner to us.

A few minutes walking to city center, private and shaded car parking and great serene vibe in the common garden and pool makes this place a gem if a find, definitely be back for more in the future.

Great apartment in a nice neighborhood. Has all the amenities necessary for a long stay and great Internet for working from home. Grocery store at the entry to the complex and a mall less than 10 minute walk. Tavira old town approximately 20 min walk. Car would be helpful to get around the Algarve, but not necessary. A bus stop is nearby and it is an easy walk to the train station.

The description fully matches what we found, the apartment has everything, everything is very clean, the beds are very comfortable. Very good area with restaurants and supermarkets within a 5-minute walk. Access to the beach is just a few minutes' walk through a pedestrian area in front of the exit of the residential development. We will definitely be back.

Had a great stay. The apartment matched the photos, it was very clean and in an excellent location. It has a sea view from the balcony and is a couple of minutes walk to the market. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with lots of thoughtful things like blankets for cool evenings on the balcony, separate towels for the pool and beach, a trolley and beach accessories should you want them in addition to a well stocked kitchen and washing machine and drier. There are two pools on the roof you can use, one outdoor and one heated indoor. This is a lovely space to relax, sunbathe and swim. Maura gave us all the info we needed and kept our bags when we arrived early. I would highly recommend this place for a stay in the heart of Olhao.
