The reviews I read were instrumental in my decision to choose this Airbnb, and now it’s my turn to share my experience. Where do I even begin to describe this incredible journey? As Americans, we had some concerns about the political climate, but we encountered absolutely no issues during our stay. From the moment we arrived, Marco arranged for a driver to meet us right at the airport exit. Our driver, Juan, was the epitome of kindness. He took us for a quick bite to eat and helped us pick up some essentials like water and snacks from a local market. On our way to Guatape, I had the chance to try a Colombian fruit called mangosteen—highly recommend it! Once we reached Guatape, Juan shared fascinating insights about the area’s history and culture. We were then taken to a secure, gated marina, where Santiago, our boat captain, was waiting to take us to our cabin. This treehouse was everything shown in the pictures. Beautiful views with an amazing hot tub. At night it gets pretty chilly so a nice hot tub is just what you need to stay warm. The food in the restaurant below was delicious and the staff were really nice! The way up the mountain was a little scary but nothing you can’t overcome, and when you get to your destination it’s worth the scare. I would got there again!

What a spectacular place! Excellent to forget the cravings and stress of the city! Delicious weather, the view makes you feel on top of the world! Very comfortable beds, the space is very cozy! The hosts are super proactive, they are always looking for everything to be good! Super recommended! If it is recommended to go in a tall cart and wear good coats because it is cold! I would certainly visit this place again again!

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during my time in Guatape. Andres’s home is absolutely beautiful—exactly as described and even better than the photos. It was spotless when I arrived. The location is fantastic. It’s close to everything. The Lake and mountain view are breathtaking. The building is new and it’s the most modern in Guatape. The kitchen has plenty of utensils for me to cook. It has two bathroom. Andrés is a thoughtful and responsive host, always quick to communicate and make sure everything was perfect. I’m so grateful for the hospitality and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—it’s an absolute gem!
