Osamijima, Shimanami Kaido. A large deck with a view of the sea and the sunset. Open-air bath with a view of the sea. Seaside retreat

This accommodation is limited to one group per day and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the many islands in the Seto Inland Sea and the sunset. Designed by the host, an architect who has won numerous awards overseas. Not extraordinary, but a "delicate life" with the theme of enriching everyday life. You can experience that kind of life here. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. If you wish, you can also dine at a counter made of pure cedar, similar to a traditional Japanese restaurant.

A house overlooking the Seto Inland Sea

The ultimate hideaway to escape the noisy, busy city, and spend time quietly with family, loved ones, and close friends, just watching the sea. I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

There is a craft ice cream shop on site, and a coffee and donut shop will also open in December.A sweet bite to taste after running through gently refreshes the memories of your trip. There is also a quiet beach within walking distance, where the morning sea breeze and the evening light will give you a memorable time. The convenience store is also a short walk away, and it is a few minutes' drive from Omishima IC. A one-of-a-kind old house surrounded by forests. There is also a friendly black cat outside

※ There are no bears in this area. You can stay with peace of mind. A house in the woods. In a magnificent old house at the end of a Ghibli-like forest road, you can enjoy BBQs, campfires, Goemon baths, and other natural activities that can only be enjoyed in the mountains.
