Milson Cottage -nr Ludlow. A Home with a View

ElenaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This cottage is a little slice of heaven in the middle of the Shropshire countryside. None of the pictures do justice to the beautifully presented cottage. Victoria gave us some helpful instructions on how to get there and even though it is quite remote, it was easy to find. When we go it, Victoria had lit a fire for us and the cottage immediately felt cosy and like coming home. It is beautifully kep, decorated and really well equipped. The Aga was amazing and so convenient as well as keeping the cottage nice and warm. We had everything we needed to cook, make coffee and use. The bedroom has beautiful views, is enormous, and the bed is larger than life and so comfortable. We had a great night's sleep every night. The location is wonderful if what you want is beautiful views, access to country walks and the chance of stargazing on clear nights. Victoria was also super accommodating with our dog and he loved every second. We would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much

Lodge Spa sauna, hot tub, fire pit & log burners.

LaurenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I stayed here with my family for a pre Christmas trip with our dogs. There was 6 adults and 3 dogs and we had enough space to all sit comfortably around the table and enjoy quality time in the living room and bar area, but also the bedrooms were perfectly large enough and spaced out that if you wanted some personal space you could go off and get some time on your own. Each bedroom had its own bathroom as well which is perfect for the mornings as no queuing for the shower! The house is beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice! Beautifully decorated and very cosy and homey! We didn’t want to leave ! The only thing to mention is we arrived late in the afternoon when it was dark, and it was a little hard to find in the dark down a one track lane which is very bumpy! Michelle was an amazing host so helpful, responsive and proactive. And the little touches like a dog goodie bag, and some mince pies to welcome use was very cute. You couldn’t have a better host! Would definitely stay again

Malvern Hills rural escape outside bath

Amazing location, easy enough to get to with local shops nearby if needed while also being far away to get some peace and privacy within the countryside. Katie has great response time and has great communication sorting out some issues we were faced with during the upcoming days of our stay. Overall it was a really pleasant experience and would definitely recommend.

Stunning views and walks from the door

BrettRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay here over New Year. It’s a lovely cottage in a beautiful, quiet spot with great views. Paths onto the Long Mynd are almost on the doorstep, while Church Stretton, with some great places to eat and drink, is about half an hour’s walk away – there’s also a nice pub at the bottom of the lane. The kitchen is clean and well-equipped for cooking and the bed is large and very comfortable. Upstairs is more spacious than it looks in the photos. The shower is excellent. When we stayed the weather was bitterly cold but we were nice and toasty indoors. Despite being an annex, it felt very private, though Mary and Mark are responsive and on hand if needed. Overall, we can wholeheartedly recommend The Pottery and hope to visit again soon.

We had a lovely weekend getaway here. Everything was clean and tidy, the hot tub was nice. It's a very remote location but easy to find. We had a visit from a very friendly cat a few times a day, and there are sheep in the surrounding fields. Great for animal lovers 😊

COTSWOLDS COTTAGE RETREAT. BIG GARDEN

RachelRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We absolutely loved our long weekend here, it was comfortable and warm and had everything we needed, including high chair and travel cot for our baby. The rooms were really comfortable and the 3 bathrooms were lovely and clean, perfect for 7 adults. The village itself is beautiful and we did a lovely walk down the river and through the fields, finished with some food at the gorgeous local pub. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cosy stay in the countryside, some beautiful towns a short drive away too. Would definitely return!

Central Stow on the Wold

IsabelleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great little place to stay right in the centre of town, warm and cosy, surrounded by plenty of independent shops, antique shops, eateries and some lovely pubs. Unfortunately not the best selection of real ales for the Cotswolds considering some of the local breweries and the number of pubs in Stowe. Had a great meal at the Stag, and very friendly staff. Parking was easy for unloading / loading the car, then Tesco car park only a short walk. Would definitely recommend!

Comfort & tranquility off the beaten track

JaneRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had the most lovely holiday at King Grove. The spotless cottage was very welcoming to walk into, full of polished wood, ornaments and pictures with a teapot, milk and biscuits all ready for us after a long journey. There is a great wood burning stove, comfortable sofas, cosy beds, and absolute peace and quiet. We slept so well! There was everything we could need in the cottage, including information on walks and a tempting collection of intriguing books. King Grove is set in a beautiful hidden valley in a wider area of stunning Shropshire landscape. We spent our days walking and visiting castles! Leena and Geoff live next door and they have designed their wonderful garden so that guests have plenty of private seating areas. They are very friendly and easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to return.
