“The cottage is such a nice Vineyard retreat. You cannot beat the location. The neighborhood is charming and allows for just a quick walk to Vineyard Haven. The cottage is so well appointed. It has a relaxed, comfortable style that so suits MV. It provides a wonderful kitchen for anyone wanting to create a feast! We had everything we needed for our Christmas dinner. The bedrooms are a nice size and the beds are very comfy. The backyard is even more spacious than we imagined. I could imagine lovely evenings by the fire pit if the weather wasn’t quite as wintry. As a host, Jim is very responsive and accessible. He provides all of the amenities one needs for a fun vacation, whether you want to play games in the yard or settle in by the fire for a game of Clue. My family and I would definitely choose the Cottage again and again.”
This is a 3 bedroom "upside-down" house one mile from Vineyard Haven, close to town but with a country feel. The house is unique for its great room where a group can enjoy the large open kitchen, living and dining space.
“Nice location on dead end street. Huge windows that look out on the woods - and a huge flock of turkeys! Clean, well stocked for anything. Close enough to Vineyard Haven for all our needs, and easy drive to any town or hike. Perfect for our winter holiday gathering.”
Adorable new cottage, 10 minute walk to Vineyard Haven. Wonderful, cotton soft waffle robes. Garnet Hill linens and towels. Gas grill, full kitchen with all accessories. Beautiful landscaping. Lovely farmers porch with adirondack chairs and table. Very private. Off street parking. No dogs or any pets of any kind, . Please only 2 people. Children are people!
“This was our second stay at Little Lobster, and we could not be happier that we chose to return. Hurricane Dorian hit the Vineyard the weekend we visited, and despite the disappointment of not being able to spent all of our time outdoors, we knew we'd be perfectly cozy and relaxed waiting out the rain inside. I truly can't say enough about how charming Little Lobster is - aside from being incredibly well-appointed (as you can see in the photos), the bed is a dream (seriously, we took a minute to peek at the mattress and pillows so we can replicate), the garden and backyard are beautiful and private...even the water pressure deserves mention (including in the outdoor shower)! We plan to return as many times as we can!”
