Location of house is ideal for Scotland and Northumberland - we did Edinburgh, Berwick on tweed , Alnwick, bamburgh castle , and the Northumberland Kielder forest .

Our fourth visit to Callum’s beautiful wee cottage in Melrose. We choose this place for several reasons: Always spotless Stylish interior Lovely wood burning stove (needed this during Storm Darragh!) Amazing place to stay, the bed and sofa were super comfortable, it is a home away from home. Great location with a fantastic friendly pub within a minutes walk away. There is a Sainsburys 10 mins away in Kelso. Lovely home in a lovely location.

Giles place was as it was described. Very well turned out, very private and good facilities inside. It had a beautiful view of the fields and woods. It also came with a very friendly cat.

Really loved staying here - living room space is so cozy and a really comfortable bed. Great location

We stay in a lot of places with our dogs but Mel’s place was by far the best we have encountered. The garden was safe, enclosed with decent fencing and right outside the door step. The cottage was super clean, warm and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. Super quiet and peaceful. Loved the decor. We will definitely be back again when in the area.

Very comfortable and well equipped, perfect for a couple of days in Kelso.

Lots of good things on our arrival to make us feel instantly at home: warmth, style, comfort, tea, coffee and biscuits, even a bottle of Prosecco. We loved our stay at St. Cuthbert's Barn in the pretty village of Ancrum. With the pub just up the road and the village shop immediately adjacent we had everything we could possibly need and so much more besides. Thankyou very much Katie!
