Lilla Hammar

A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

We have beautiful large yard with 2 patios with 2 table sets and sun beds available. Our rowing boat and life jackets, 2 sup paddle boards are at your disposal.

Laituri uimaportailla, pieni hiekkaranta, soutuvene, pelastusliivit, ulko-wc, pysäköintialue, pihavalot tunnistimilla, nuotiopaikka, kaasugrilli ja grillikota. Keittiössä on erillisuuni, keraaminen liesitaso, mikro, liesituuletin, jääkaappi/pakastin ja led valot. Juomavesi tuodaan valmiiksi mökille. Terassilta käynti paljuun. Palju on varattavissa erikseen. Cute, small cottage on the shore of clear-water Kalkkistenkoski. Your own peace is guaranteed and nature with its landscapes is second to none. Sauna, swim, take a hot tub, or take a canoe trip. Or just hang out on the hammock. You can swim from the pier or directly from the beach. The beach is quite sudden, so it's not suitable for young children. A lot heats up next to the sauna terrace. Bed linens and towels are ready at the cottage. Warmly welcome!
