This campsite is in a wonderful spot, it is spotless clean and host is friendly, helpful and knowledgable of the local area. It can be a stop off on Garden route or a base for a longer stay. We will be back ;-)

Friendly and responsive staff with the utmost peace at our cabin, aptly named, Tranquility. We only left the property to visit a friend in the nearby town otherwise we'd be happy unwinding at Teniqua for our entire stay. It felt like we were the only guests as every time we used the pool or other facilities no one else was around. My partner said it was the best eco retreat we've ever experienced and I wholeheartedly agree!

Thanks for a great stay! We had a tent with a hot tub. The wood was already at the tent and we could start right away. Our landlady was really great - she always helped us with anything, no matter what. Anytime again!

We loved our time at this beautiful spot hidden in the Knysna forest. The rustic vibe was perfect with open forest showers, clean tents, comfy beds and kind hosts. The amenities were exactly as described and we enjoyed the peaceful and natural space. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and welcoming. We would love to come again!

our stay at Gina‘s place was amazing. she‘s a very lovely person who will provide for everything you need! We even got upgraded into a nice tiny caravan which was perfect because of a rainy night. We were aloud to use the barbecue..., there‘s also firewood which you can use. The bathrooms are very clean and spacious! we can definitely recommend this place!!!

Paul was a great host. The accommodation was clean and fun for the family. Highly recommend it stay on Pauls farm.

Francette was able to answer my situation. I have great difficulty getting around. The philosophies of respect for the environment are real. The place was wonderful. We were able to benefit from the commented visit of the sanctuary. The only downside is the setting of the shower water temperature. It should be back in order. We had a great time in Avignon. Something unusual close to nature and peaceful

A real gem. This is a little slice of paradise. On our last day we didn’t want to leave. Easy walk the lake, lovely long swims, great interactions with the horses, and we met lovely people in the central eating and cooking area. The beds are very comfortable and the view is amazing. Mariette was a fantastic hostess - always at hand if you needed her and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Definitely coming back!

Greet hosts and location.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 days and it was absolute bliss. There’s 3 beaches to swim at nearby, beautiful hiking/ walking trails, quiet, serene, peaceful, just amazing!! Would definitely recommend this place if you want to get out the city to unwind 😊

Mariette's place is this beautiful location with tents in front of the lake. It's peaceful and you can do a bbq or enjoy a swim in the lake. If you're looking for a wonderful spot, that is kids friendly, and want to sleep in cozy tents then this place is for you. Just as a tip, bring your own power banks since the tent we had didn't have a plug. Also, bring your own food, there are restaurants 25 minutes away but my advice is to enjoy this little paradise.

Linmarie is a superb host and the place is great. Sturdy canvas dome tent, comfy bed, great linen, spotlessly clean. A fan, bedside lights- even a little carpet. Basically a glamping tent in a peaceful location with everything you could possibly need. I asked for lamb chops and salad and they were fresh and chops ready to braai. Woke up to horses and sheep and a lovely sunrise. Will definitely be back.

What a lovely place, wish we could have stayed longer to fully experience the place. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The pies were exceptional. would definitely recommend a stay there even if all you want to do is get away and escaped.

perfect getaway, awesome host, peaceful nature at its best, the most gorgeous sunrise. I wished I could stay here forever but it's so far out away from town, had to take a beautiful scenic drive on a well maintained gravel road to get to it.

Lovingly & beautifully secluded set up glamping site in the heart of Karoo.. with big heart hospitality and serene area with sheep glazing nearby...and a beautiful pool to dip your feet and body in cool water. Watching sunset and admiring sunrise with the chorus of birds singing their heart out... what more can we ask for? It is a place of rest, delight and tranquility. Each tent/caravan has its own braai area and shower/toilet - it is next to each other but the shady trees gave us plenty of privacy. Elzanne and Nellis were so friendly, kind and amazing owners of this beautiful accommodation. She communicated well beforehand, sent us a pin of the location. Everything in this site is lovingly and tastefully made, built and decorated. Breeze at night through the tent was perfect and the solar powered fan, fridge and microwave are also neatly set inside the tent. We ordered braai pack and had breakfast in the farmhouse garden which we highly recommend. We can't wait to come back!

Incredible place, friendly staff, very helpful great communication. Extrememly tranquil and safe with good security. Was relaxing clean and had all ammentites u need. Ill definitly be going back!
