It is an amazing space - we had the best time around the boma, our daughter loved pottering about the garden (and the swings) and the beach is just around the corner. An awesome find in a great area with plenty to do. Kirsten was very accommodating to our requests and made our stay a great one.

A very peaceful setting with wonderful bird life. Just be aware that there is no shower.

This a a fabulous find. The view is sensational and although someone else mentioned the road being close it’s behind the property and car parking area and not noticeable. The morning sunrise over the forest valley is very special. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lovely for before and after the Robberg Hike especially the pool!

A peaceful and beautiful stay. Perfectly located just outside of Plett. The house is lovely and well appointed, enjoy watching the bird life from the stoep. Paul and Bettina very helpful, would definitely stay again.

Pine Valley is exactly what we needed. An easy 5km drive from Glenburn Lodge. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfy, with lovely soft linen. More than enough pillows, towels and blankets. The ceiling fan in the room was very welcome! Checkin was quick and easy (and we arranged an hour earlier than advertised - no problems!). We loved the chocolates on our pillows and the fresh milk in the fridge was great. Communication was always prompt and helpful. I’d really recommend Pine Valley and will definitely stay there again

Beautiful and quiet guest lodge just outside Grahamstown. Peaceful with magnificent views and beautiful scenery. A must for anyone in the Grahamstown area.

We stayed at Sandi’s property for the month of February 2024. The house, which is situated in gated safe and secure parkland, is exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the living areas are very comfortable. The TV/satellite channels are comprehensive and the Wi-Fi worked beautifully. The patio area is large and a lovely space to sit, eat, barbeque, and relax in the company of the Bushbucks and other friendly wildlife. Fantastic highly recommendable places to breakfast, lunch and dine, are all within a 5 minute drive, as is the magnificent Brenton on Sea beach. The regular load sheddings posed no problems as an inverter is in place. On top of all that, Sandi was on hand to advise and support us if needed. Her local knowledge, professionalism and good nature was invaluable and was ‘the icing on the cake’ of our sta y, she is indeed a ‘Superhost’ and such a lovely person.

My family loved our stay with Penny and Warren! They are amazing people and made us feel like old friends. Very accommodating with our requests. The location is beautiful with direct access to the lake and private boats to make use of. Extremely private and quiet. We HIGHLY recommend this spot. We will be back as soon as possible. One of my most peaceful and enjoyable stays. The accommodation spacious with lots of natural light and air flow. It’s such a treat to read a book 📕 on the bench on the jetty, on the lawn or on the comfy couch. Our doggies were in heaven - they loved the spacious lawns, and feebly chasing after the naughty coots 🦆. Magical evenings at the braai nestled within shrubby nook and view of the lake. Well-appointed kitchen. Lovely easy-going hosts. We cannot wait to return!

Great location on the main beach with an ocean view from the balcony. Awesome host and friendly housekeeping staff. Spacious unit, neat and sparkly clean (serviced daily). Would love to return again and would definitely recommend the place.

The house was amazing! Very clean and there was a lot of stuff in the house. We all loved the beds! But the most important plus for us was the place/environment; it was next to the beach and the restaurant!! We loved it Perfect for big families or friend groups

What a view! Wow! A beautiful double storey beach house within 50 meters of a pristine secluded beach. Beautifully decorated, comfortable rooms. A fully equipped kitchen with everything one needs. There are options for seating all around the house. Whether you are seeking a place sheltered from the wind or in a quiet nook. Everyone can find their own comfy space without living on top of one another. Mgwalana is about 40 minutes from Port Alfred so be sure to pack all you need. Sue was great to deal with and provided fantastic support.
