Welcome to our old farmhouse, of which a part of the former stable has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly furnished with a lot of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have a private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. AN EXTENSIVE BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one b and b space.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you can experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forest, it is wonderful to unwind. Even from your bed enjoying the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot the deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a nice starting point to explore the surroundings. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Guesthouse with "hayloft" as 2nd bedroom

"As in Roaske" ("Als een Roosje" in Frisian) is a cozy guest house/apartment with private entrance, located in a characteristic street of Burgum. The Waldhûske (built in 1918), in which we live, served as a butcher's shop at the time and has a completely renovated guest house at the back. Close to the center of Burgum and within walking distance of various eateries and shops in the heart of "De Fryske Wâlden" where water, nature and various cycling and walking routes come together.

Tiny House “Sleeping on the Lytse Geast”

At the end of 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment that is equipped with all comforts. And we speak from experience because during the renovation of our own house, we lived in it ourselves! 🏡 Also check out our website! The accommodation is in a rural location, but also close to Leeuwarden and Dokkum. The perfect base for hiking and cycling. These are the Burgumer mar and the Leyen. The area around Eastermar is rural and has many small roads, and beautiful sandy paths where you can enjoy cycling and hiking. Nature cottage the Twadde Hûske

Het Twadde Hûske is an apartment (opened April 2025) with underfloor heating which can be booked for 4 people. In consultation for 5 or 6 people by adding a folding mattress and/or camping bed, but this is only suitable for short stays. Further on, you can read more about the layout of the apartment. The Twadde Hûske has a wonderful view over the meadows with a lovely terrace. Het Twadde Hûske is the most complete Airbnb you can find, will you try this out? 🏡

Guesthouse De Wetterwille

Guesthouse De Wetterwille was originally a garage with an upper floor, but has now been converted into a guesthouse with all the amenities of a modern studio. The bathroom has a spacious shower cabin, bathroom furniture and toilet. The small but cozy living room is furnished with a complete kitchen with stove, fridge and oven, a small dining area and two armchairs. On the upper floor with loft is a double box spring. You have a private entrance and a simple patio.

Guesthouse Logement 105

Logement 105 is a centrally & quietly located comfortable 2-person guest house (50m2) in Burgum. You have plenty of privacy here. An excellent base for exploring the area on foot or by bike. Breakfast is not included. The city center is within walking distance and has 4 supermarkets and 2 bakeries. The cozy cities of Leeuwarden and Dokkum are 15 km away. Within half an hour, you can drive to Holwerd and Lauwersoog for the boat to Ameland and Schiermonnikoog.

PUUR Eastermar - Authentic and luxurious coach house.

Koetshuis Puur Eastermar is an exclusive apartment in the former coach house of our monumental farmhouse from 1860. The farm is located on De Lits between Burgumermeer and De Leyen. With its own jetty, this location is an excellent base for water sports or just to enjoy the breathtaking views. The area is also very suitable for hiking and biking in the typical coulisse landscape. The coach house is very spacious (75m2) and equipped with every comfort.

Welkom in ons unieke tiny house, verscholen in een privébos aan de rand van het charmante Friese dorp Noordwolde. Deze moderne accommodatie is ideaal voor rustzoekers en natuurliefhebbers. Geniet in de zomer van je ruime prive tuin met zitgedeelte, een veranda en een hangmat tussen de bomen. In de winter zit je heerlijk knus binnen bij de houtkachel die de ruimte binnen no-time verwarmd. De tinyhouse is compact maar van alle gemakken voorzien!
