We stayed in Oak Cottage at Elms Farm Cottages and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Carol was a fantastic host - very communicative, flexible and helpful and the cottage was perfect - very comfortable and with excellent amenities - all the small things taken care of. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day.

In stayed for a long weekend with my family. The house was lovely and perfect for me as the children could play in the conservatory. The garden was lovely and my boys really enjoyed being outside and playing. House was lovely and I would stay again.

Absolutely loved our two-night stay at Pitchers Barn. The cottage is exactly like the pictures, very clean and well kept, but the scenery is next to none and looks 1000x better in person. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere with a lot of privacy but there is plenty to do a short drive away.

Back to Rose Cottage for a getaway after a memorable visit in 2023. Just like the first time, I had an absolutely fantastic stay! Wonderful, friendly hosts with great communication throughout and the same warm welcome and all round fabulous break as I had 2 years ago. Peaceful and private amazing location - even my dog was happy to return! I picked a fab week weather wise so that made it extra special :-) Great location for those who want to get away from it all, relax the mind, read, be creative, wander the huge garden and be soothed by nature and beautiful views - the positioning for watching the sunrise is perfect. I’ll definitely be back - it really is an English paradise!! If you are thinking about going here - think no longer - just book it!

Lovely little cottage, we had such a peaceful couple of days away! Very private, gorgeous countryside area and the pub around the corner was fab!

Our stay at Sanjay’s cottage was delightful from the moment we arrived. We were thrilled by the place’s cleanliness. The hot tub was definitely the highlight of our stay. Every corner of the cottage felt cozy and comfortable, making it easy to truly unwind. The living area was warm and inviting. With cozy lighting and a fireplace, we enjoyed the homey atmosphere. The bedroom was super comfortable. The weather was great while we stayed so we spent our days walking around in the village. This little hideaway exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay again with no hesitation. It truly felt like a home-away-from-home with a touch of luxury - just perfect.

Outstanding hosts. We were super happy to stay with them for a second time! The welcome basket was a really thoughtful gesture and the extra touches like robes and slippers were very helpful.

Had a lovely 3 night stay here. Denise was very friendly and gave us all the info we needed on arrival. The hot tub was absolutely amazing! The bed was so comfy, I slept really well ( better than usual!) The massive smart tv was really handy as was the free WiFi. The orchard that’s there is huge, our dog loved running around it! Also the plum wine they make is so lush! Thanks so much Denise and Simon, it was a well earned break for us! Visited some lovely places to.😊

This was booked a few weeks before we stayed and suited us to the ground. Bicester Village was the perfect place close by to get to Oxford by train. Easy to get to Blenheim Palace for their opening Christmas Weekend and Festival of illuminations. The Property had everything you could wish for, air Fryer, Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Fridge etc Christmas really did start early for as we were leaving with over an inch of snow on the Green and then 2 hours driving home in a Blizzard.

Fabulous thatched cottage full of character & and in a great location for visiting Rutland Water. Very peaceful and easy parking right opposite. The cottage was squeaky clean and extremely comfortable. Sweet treats from the local bakery, fresh coffee and doggy treats were a really lovely touch. Highly recommend a stay at Bee Cottage, you won’t be disappointed.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

The Granary is a lovely thatched cottage tucked away in a peaceful spot on a no through lane in the old part of the village. The property ticked all my boxes for a peaceful and comfortable stay when visiting family living close by. The gated driveway parking directly adjacent to the property makes easy work of unloading/loading on arrival/departure. There are lovely mature garden surrounds to the property offering a good degree of privacy, although not fully enclosed if you have young children or pets. With two dogs in tow it was an added bonus to have lovely countryside walks directly from the door over the adjacent Edgecote Estate. Michael the host’s communication and directions for accessing the property were excellent throughout. Thoroughly recommend.

Just finished an all too brief a stay at Daphnes Cottage. What a wonderful location and a fabulous home. It was more than we could have expected, the welcome pack was a much appreciated bonus. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in this beautiful area, it's peaceful but close enough to major road networks to be able to get where you want with ease. I would definitely look at coming back. Thank you.

The cottage was tiny but perfect for us. It matched the photos and description. It was quiet but close to pubs for meals out. (Our favourite was The Curzon Arms.) Lots of good walks in the area.

Pye Cottage is a lovely place to stay and the village is beautiful. The cottage is a great size, tucked away in the centre of the village, with a sun trap of a garden. Cupboards are well stocked, and Joanna had provided bread, milk, fruit and (most importantly) a delicious lemon cake for us upon arrive. There was even a toy box for the kids to get stuck into. Joanna was also able to supply a cot bed and high chair to save us having to bring ours. We loved our stay so much, and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Thank you so much Lucie for letting us stay in your incredible cottage. It was so much more than we could ever have dreamed of with quiet and peaceful surroundings, and incredible outdoor space and secret garden, plenty of local walks and yet close to both Loughborough and Leicester. The cottage was immaculately clean and tidy and communication was quick and easy throughout. We have LOVED our stay and would highly recommend your place to anyone and everyone! For potential bookers: Definitely visit Bradgate Park Deer Sanctuary and if you're around on a Sunday, why not visit one of the car boots in the area! So many different things to see and do!

We had a lovely stay here for a wedding nearby, it was on a beautiful farm with gorgeous views around it. The house had the most comfortable bed and a lovely shower, we could have happily moved in!! Thank you x

We had a wonderful stay at Caroline’s beautiful barn conversion. Everything was immaculate, lots of space, well equipped and furnished and so comfortable in every respect. Caroline was so welcoming and helpful and had provided so many very thoughtful extra touches, from all the ingredients for a delicious full breakfast with bacon and amazing fresh hen’s eggs, chocolate brownies, sweets to toiletries and so much more. Caroline really had anticipated all any guests could possibly need. The setting is so peaceful and just a short stroll to all the amenities of this lovely village and so easy to explore Cambridge from too. We were all very sad to leave at the end of our stay.

Appreciated all the little extra products, like perfumes, fan in the bedroom, soaps and snacks. Great water heat and pressure for a cosy bath. Warm and welcoming.

We stayed here whilst attending the MotoGp at Silverstone, which was about a 30 minute drive away. The host was quick to respond and came across as very friendly. The house was clean and comfortable to stay in and great that the co-op was just down the road. My only negative feedback would be the TV is so small! I think maybe about 20”, so when we wanted to relax in the evening to watch TV, it wasn’t the easiest to watch. If you’re not bothered about a TV to watch then this cottage is a lovely place to stay.

Annamarie is such a warm and helpful host. It was lovely taking to her about the history of the cottage and things to do around the area. It is such a cosy cottage, lovely escape from busy life, utterly chilled. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The place is small but quaint and cosy and exactly what was needed. Visiting from the US, my family found it rather charming especially with the log burner and being on the canal.
