Kid-friendly vacation rentals in East Lothian

I rented an apartment for my parents for a week and we are very satisfied. The apartment was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. In addition, Marcin was very kind, asked if we were missing anything, and answered all the questions. I recently had a wonderful stay at Gary's house and wanted to share my experience. The place was impeccably clean and tidy, making it a comfortable retreat. I appreciated how well-equipped it was, with everything I needed readily available. Additionally, having parking available was a significant bonus. I will definitely look to stay here again during my next visit to Edinburgh! Highly recommended!

Heathers place is in a lovely location with stunning views from the rear garden, the property is equally as nice , clean and tidy and the kitchen is well equipped, would definitely book again

We had another great stay in North Berwick, our second stay at Jo’s! We loved it the first time so an easy decision to come back!

My husband and I stayed at the Water Tower for 3 nights. It is beautifully restored with so much attention to detail. In arriving we explored it in total awe. It is very comfortable and each bedroom has an ensuite toilet and hand basin. The bathroom is totally wonderful - especially having a bath. The sitting room at the top has a sensational view and is very comfortably furnished. As previous reviews have mentioned the Water Tower is well equipped and we were made very welcome by Susan and Gerry and greeted with homemade muffins and our choice of breakfast ingredients. The Water Tower is really well located, with Morrisons, a wonderful Indian Restaurant called Itihaas for dinner and an incredibly convenient bus service to Edinburgh (£2 per ride - use your card on your phone to pay) - all just around the corner. The Water Tower is an incredibly special place and we would stay again if/when we come back to Edinburgh. Thank you very much Susan and Gerry for hosting us.

Lovely little cottage, with everything you could need and more. All the little extras were a lovely touch, and Liz was a great host. Would definitely recommend and use again.

This flat is roomy and very comfortable for a large family group, with great views, a spotless large kitchen, and a wonderful collection of books - all 2 minutes from the beach.

This was my third stay here. As usual it's quiet and comfortable with great views over East Lothian. Jane is a considerate host and communication/check are always easy.

Lucy's flat by the sea in North Berwick was very comfortable and spacious. We liked the nearness to the beach (particularly my granddaughter) and the views to the Bass Rock from the sitting room. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. There is plenty to do in North Berwick and it was only a short walk to the Seabird Centre and even shorter to the excellent local museum, which was a great place to visit on a wet day. We would particularly recommend the boat trip to Craigleith and the Bass Rock where we saw great numbers of gannets and rafts of puffins. There are some interesting shops in North Berwick's High Street with an old-fashioned sweety shop (much appreciated by my granddaughter), a high quality wool shop, and the inestimable Bostock Bakery for indulgent cinnamon buns and croissants. There are plenty of good restaurants too. Being without a car was fine, as all these attractions are just a short walk from Lucy's flat.

The different generations of the family (and the dog) all enjoyed this holiday. A cosy, comfortable flat which had everything we needed. A short walk to town and the park, no problems parking and easy to drive out for sightseeing.

We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous apartment. It was spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed. The hosts were very helpful and shared some great local recommendations for eating out etc. It's a very peaceful location and only a short walk from the beach. Thank you for having us!

Apartment was clean and as described. Perfect location for golf, the beach and local walks.

A great place to stay for us to explore Edinburgh. The flat was clean and tidy with lots of nice homely touches and well decorated. It had everything we needed as a family with young children.

Great location perfect for all amenities Shops, Bars & Restaurants . If you up for it you can always tackle North Berwick Law what a view.

Amazing place, we really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and we enjoyed exploring the area and easy accessibility to Edinburgh. Marciel and her husband were super helpful and responsive to all questions. Highly recommend!
