Rustic, and undergoing minor renovations, but a very cozy, clean place to stay. The Lake is clean and great for swimming! Full kitchen with most everything, an outdoor fire pit for nice nights, and a piano for rainy days. Heat pump, BBQ, fibre op, & Roku TV + Netflix! Wood stove is functional for extra heat and ambiance, wood not included however.

No cleaning fee!! The location says Tusket, it is actually Quinan on Lake Kegeshook. The cottage is a farmhouse/mid modern style with all white walls. Large windows and high ceilings allowing for great light. We recently renovated our kitchen. The cottage is remote, quiet and perfect for relaxing. The place is heated by a heat pump with additional base board heaters when needed. The cottage is a 20 mins drive in from the Tusket exit and 35 minutes to Yarmouth.

We loved our stay there. It’s exactly as seen in the photos. Everything was in working order. We used the hot tub and the fire table without any issues. It’s very private there. We ate dinner at White Point Founders lounge one evening. The meal there was reasonably priced and the portions are large. They have live entertainment at Founders nightly starting at 7:30 pm. The next night we ate dinner at the Quarter Deck Grill. If you have to choose between the two we recommend White Point Founders. We visited White Point beach, Summerville beach, and Carters beach. All are very close to this cottage. Summerville beach is easiest to access and closest. You can see it off to your right from this cottage. Carters beach is a beautiful beach but despite having a new parking lot it is disappointing. The new parking lot is now the main parking lot and it’s a 7 min walk (450 m)through the forest and up and down inclines. You will not have any regrets staying at this cottage. Enjoy!
