House vacation rentals in East Grinstead

The accommodation is delightful, in a quiet location, well equipped, very comfortable and squeaky clean. It has everything that any visitor could possibly want as well as a couple of foxes who visit the garden. The location is very central with many attractions and National Trust properties close by. Corrina answered my enquiry, regarding an extra nights stay, within 10 minutes and left very clear and concise instructions regarding Wi-Fi, heating etc. I would thoroughly recommend the accommodation to family and friends and we hope to stay again next year.

We had a lovely time at Sophie’s place. It was warm and homely and perfect for what we needed. We were a family group with a mix of ages and it was just right for everyone. The pool was a great source of fun for the kids, while the adults enjoyed snooker. The garden is stunning and was full of autumnal colours. We were even greeted by deer one night! The rooms suited our group with enough space for everyone (and enough bathrooms!) The house is in walking distance of pubs and beautiful woodland walks yet still very private. We had a lovely week and would definitely come back again. Thank you!!

We spent a lovely week at Alison's farm. Beautiful location near charming Ticehurst and Wadhurst (both have good Pubs), incredible views across open countryside and hills from the heated outdoor pool, which our daughter loved. Slides, swings and a trampoline bonus points with kids. Alison was friendly and helpful. The Shed itself is warm and comfortable, kitchen is kitted out for basic meals, and the two ensuite bathrooms are super spacious and have good showers with hot water plus bathtubs. There is so much to do in the area from beautiful walks, tastings at vineyards, to cyclyng in Bedgbury, boating in Bewl Water and seaside beauties Rye and Camber in the vicinity.

Carrie is a fantastic host and we enjoyed our stay at her place. The cottage has everything you need for a long family stay. And families with young kids will enjoy extra stuff like high chairs and toys. There is also a nice private garden and the bbq area.

We had a fantastic stay at the barn this November. Michelle was a great communicator for any questions I had which made the whole process effortless. The owners are lovely and the barn exactly as described. Hoping to return in the Summer to be able to take advantage of the pool.

Amazing spot for a group weekend away, hot tub fit 10 adults and plenty of space for 6 younger children including high chairs provided which was great!

This house is absolutely fantastic. Our group of 9 including a teen and two 9-year-olds stayed very comfortably for a week with a typically English mix of weather and the house accommodated us amply. The spaces were all individual, relaxing and full of beautiful furniture and art, we loved the characterful high-ceilinged garden room and the sitting room big enough for all 9 of us to play games. All the first floor bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and generous storage, and the second floor attic with two bedrooms and a relaxing space between was a great little world away. The rambling garden and the tennis court, trampoline, warm pool and table tennis were a real hit with our group. Locally there was something for everyone, highlights including great walks from the house along the river and up onto the spine of the South Downs, and garden visits to High Beeches and Sussex Prairie Gardens. Enzo and Lucy are well deserved superhosts, we would return in a heartbeat.

The accommodation exceeded what we expected from the photos. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for a nice relaxing weekend. We would recommend this to anyone The Host was very responsive and gave clear instructions for check in and how to use everything in the property. We will definitely be returning

Our family had the best stay at Ricky and Marilyn’s place. Our kids loved the playground and space to run and play. The house was clean and comfortable. Ricky and Marilyn were the best hosts, greeting us personally when we arrived and showing us around, leaving fresh eggs from the hens for us to use, a sweet gift of fresh flowers and a card for my daughter’s birthday and quick to answer any questions we had. They were kind enough to even wave us off goodbye when we left. We felt like we were staying on family property (without feeling intrusive either). It’s truly a gem of a place!

Beautiful property exactly as described. All communications with the host were very clear concise and extremely helpful, Anne did all she could to ensure that the stay was superb from booking all the way through to checkout.

Lovely cottage in a rural setting just minutes drive from local villages such as East Grinstead, Ardingly and Turners Hill. Wonderful walks available from the cottage with a herd of deer living in the woods behind the property. Warm and comfortable with a modern boutique feel - perfect for a county escape! I can highly recommend both the cottage and Angie’s excellent hosting.

Great place and location for a girlie weekend of shopping in nearby towns and really early flight departure as only 10 mins drive from airport. Would stay again.

We had a fantastic couple of nights for a weekend away with friends. It's such a beautiful cottage, down a quiet alley in Henfield. Its within a short walk to pubs and shops. There are also loads of country walks that can be done from the house. The house was lovely and cosy, with a wood burner as an added bonus. We had everything we needed in the modern kitchen and there's a lovely dining area. The whole place was spotless. We're already talking about when we can return!

Jane kindly messaged us to say the barn was ready which was before the stated check in, this was really helpful. The barn was located in a beautiful area with walks from the doorstep, the local village of Penshurst is very pretty with a great pub the Leicester Arms. The barn had everything we need and a lovely courtyard garden which we sat out in each evening as the weather was good. A great property and would definitely return. Thank you!

Great location within an easy walk to the village. The cottage has wonderful views out the back across fields and was very relaxing. Had everything there I needed for a 5 night stay.

I enjoyed another stay at this very welcoming and comfortable AIrBnb - it is a great location, everything is as described and easy to operate. It feels a bit like a home away from home and Judith is very responsive and helpful. I very much appreciated her providing me with an extra chair to work at the table and for having the ktichen and all amenities so well set up. Even though it was geting wintery there is a lovely view on to the garden which adds to the peaceful and calm feeling. I'll be back!. julie

We loved our stay at Annabel's cottage. We felt so at home the minute we arrived - it was such a cosy cottage, perfect for a weekend away. There are lots of walks close-by, as well as some lovely pubs. We all (including my dog) loved it and we'll definitely be back. Thank you, Annabel!

Charming home in an idyllic setting; was exactly what we needed to disconnect for a few days. Daniela was a responsive and helpful host. So much to say… as for the setting; Hartfield is a lovely little village with a good butcher, nice pub and Winnie-the-Pooh themed tea shop (& museum!). You’ll be steps from the forest walking trail (though advise against walking along the B road), and an ostrich appears to live in the field next door! The cottage was like stepping back through time, though preserved in immaculate condition. Just make sure to duck underneath the doorways, but this is all part of the charm. We loved getting cozy with the wood burning stove in the evening.

We had the best stay at Pennys Cottage. It was in an amazing location with the most beautiful surroundings. She left lots of lovely small touches like cookies, breakfast, hot chocolate etc and nothing was ever too much to ask, she was so helpful with lots of recommendations for near by pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Had a wonderful stay here. It was a beautiful space. Bed was incredibly comfortable- we slept so well there. Helen and Kevin were really friendly and helpful throughout. The fresh homemade bread we received was a lovely treat too! Would recommend to others.

Had a lovely stay at Lizzie’s orchard room- it’s perfect for 2 for a quiet weekend! Lizzie was fab the whole way, helping me with directions when I got lost finding the place in the dark! 100% would stay again, thank you!

A wonderful house for a stay with extended family with toddlers and babies. The playroom was ideal and the kitchen with the huge island and table made for very sociable mealtimes. The house is in the most beautiful setting and we enjoyed visiting the village.
