Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in East Grinstead

This was a perfect find for us! We wanted a quite green neighbourhood within easy reach of central London and this was it. The neighbourhood has wide tree lined avenues with minimal traffic and a number of green spaces with Hilly Fields being the most prominent. The home itself was quiet, clean and comfortable with all the basics one would want in a home, we did not miss a thing. Local stores were next door and supermarkets a short walk away. If, however, you are looking to be in the thick of things with night life and supermarkets at your door step you may feel a little away from it all. To us we wanted to be away from it a bit. That said central London was a comfortable bus ride away and it was about half hour by train. Sid as a host was helpful and friendly without being intrusive. So from our point of view the experience was perfect!

kush was so excellent to communicate with, helpful, and all around wonderful. The space is extremely practical and comfortable and it is by far the best location!! 2 min walk from train and bus is just outside and Waitrose is below. resturants with 2 min walk...just perfect. we will definitely be staying again.

The flat and it’s location is perfect, you have everything you need in a very short distance. Every room was very clean and had everything you may need. Ezequiel is so friendly and very nice and always giving very clear instruccions. I’ll come back for sure! Thanks for everything!

Very close to the underground and buses. About a 10 minute walk to the station and the main shopping area. It’s about 20 minutes on the underground from central London. Very clean. Easy to find. Easy to communicate with Paula as she responds quickly.

The layout of the apartment is very nice. It is also very close to the Wandworth Town Station. A lot of good restaurants around the apartments. The host always responds quickly. Highly recommend.

A second short stay for my relatives visiting. Lovely, clean and cosy. Laercio was so kind and welcoming. The secure building and ground floor gave me peace of mind when booking.

A wonderful spot for staying in the Walton area! A stylish new build perfectly located near to the Walton train station for easy access to London. The halfway shops and restaurants nice to have near by. A 10 minute walk into Walton town centre. Friendly and helpful guidance from Anum as a host. Definitely recommend for others…

Grace’s cozy spot was exactly what I needed after working a couple of days in London. I felt right at home and would curl up on the couch and catch up on my shows and when it was time for bed the space was perfect for relaxing and had some overhead lighting for reading books. The bathroom did take some adjusting since it was tiny but it was just right for me. Also, loved that I could do laundry and enjoy the sound of the rainy weather against the skylights in the living room. There are a couple of shops in walking distance but I didn’t spend much time in the neighborhood and a bus stop right out front if you need to take the bus. Grace was also super accommodating and very communicative and eased any worries or answered any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Mariusz was an exceptional host. He was incredibly supportive, very friendly, and always quick to respond to any questions. The location of the apartment is ideal, with just a 4-minute walk to the bus, tram, and train stations, and a 3-minute walk to the shopping center. The place itself is calm, cozy, and free from any noise. Highly recommended!

Nata and her husband are five-star host without a doubt! Throughout my 4-week stay they have been super helpful and provided excellent support all the way including fix of kitchen sink and smoke alarm. Super friendly couples and the working area in the lounge was definitely my favourite spot, not to mention the TV with most the common channels and streaming platforms. Definitely will stay again if I visit that area or recommend to anyone who wants to be closed by Kingston or Surbiton ;)

I am very happy to be able to stay in Maria's house during my trip to London. As soon as I entered the door, I was shocked by the scenery outside the window and on the terrace. The view is really wide open. The transportation is also convenient. There are subway and bus stops not far away. There are also several supermarkets downstairs, which is very convenient for purchasing ingredients. In addition, I am very grateful to Maria for her welcome and instructions. Maria is very enthusiastic and considerate, and her response is also very quick, which provides us with a lot of convenience and tips! (By the way, Maria's hand-drawn map is really clear and lovely). The furnishings in the house are also very clean and the facilities are very complete. If you and your close family and friends come to London for a vacation and rest, I highly recommend you to stay in Maria's house.

Place was as described super cute & cozy! Flat was very clean, & spotless. The host was very sweet & kept in communication the entire time.

Hazels places created the perfect space for us to visit my sister and her new baby. The place was clean and easy to access, plenty of shops only a few minutes drive away. It was a very quiet area, we didn’t hear anyone else once we were inside. The only downfall is the parking space provided isn’t big enough for the average car, and often other cars were half in it anyway. However I did always find parking within the road itself so this wasn’t a massive issue for us & we would book to stay again.

Matt was a great host and his accommodation was really comfortable, very clean and easily had enough room for six adults, although the bunk beds might be a little challenging for some! It's within easy walking distance to public transport links (train and bus), with a large supermarket also a five minute walk. Matt was really helpful throughtout our stay, staying in touch and contactable for any issues. It's a great base for day trips into central London and to the O2. I would very much recommend it to anyone looking for a break and will certainly use Matt again next time.

We loved our stay at Franceska’s home in Forest Row! We were holidaying with our young children and my parents and all three generations loved the facilities and found the house very comfortable. The garden is lovely and enclosed so fab for the kids to play in and adults to sit in. The house was beautiful but also set up for family life which suited us perfectly. The playroom had loads of toys which our 2 and 4 year olds really enjoyed. The very easy access to the Forest Way right from the house made walking or cycling into Forest Row very safe and quick with the kids. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment for cooking at home which was what we did most nights. The beds were comfortable and the living area downstairs was more spacious than we expected from the photos. Forest Row is a good base for exploring locally with small food shops, pubs, and a playground. We easily visited Wakehust Place, the Bluebell Railway, and Ashdown Forest. We would definitely stay again!

It’s a lovely cosy home , exactly as per the photos, warm and welcoming. Ellie was in touch making sure we were checked in and comfortable., very happy with the whole experience. Would not hesitate to record her home .

Olumide’s Airbnb in Thornton Heath has become my go-to place to stay. I’ve had the pleasure of staying here several times, and it’s always a fantastic experience! The space is consistently spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. Olumide is an exceptional host—attentive, friendly, and always ready to ensure everything runs smoothly. The location is unbeatable, with great transport links and plenty of amenities nearby. Each stay has been seamless and enjoyable, and I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone visiting the area!

We spent 7 days at Renee’s place. It was very close to a small mall that had two grocery stores and a parking garage to park your car. Renee provided every thing we could possibly need. It had several foxes that sat outside in the street every night, that doesn’t happen in the US.
