We had a wonderful stay, we loved that the dogs could join and there was plenty of room for the whole family. Very clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies

I really loved my stay with Helen. She was incredibly helpful with whatever I needed and checked in everyday. She gave great suggestions for food spots in the local area and the space for guests was so cosy and welcoming. I was in desperate need of a peaceful and quiet place, and this fit the bill exactly. I had been to this area of New Brunswick earlier this year but when my parents decided to come, I looked for something a little larger and came across this listing. The photos match the property exactly, and the amount of consideration given to even the smallest touches was top notch. I can see why families would love staying here with all of the recreational opportunities, but it's also the perfect place for a peaceful retreat. My only disappointment initially when I booked it was that it didn't have a fireplace, but Cassie and Dave even thought to have the tv set to a fireplace app, complete with crackling sounds, when we arrived! I loved being able to just sit and read all day in front of a crackling "fire" while looking out at such a stunning view. Thank you so much to Cassie and Dave for your hospitality and for sharing this little piece of Eden. 10/10 would go back.

Lovely place to stay! Very clean and well organized space. Dave was there to make sure we were able to check in easily. Loved the hot tub and the shower was great. Great seating area outside but we weren’t there long enough to enjoy. Convenient to town of St Stephen and to the border of Maine. We were there for only one night but would definitely stay longer.

I was familiar with Roque Bluffs before coming here to stay, and love it. I had never had the opportunity to spend several days right on the ocean here however. This cottage provided the opportunity and nothing disappointed. We were even rained in for most of a day and because of Axel and Greg’s absolutely lovely and peaceful cottage we did not mind a bit. Spacious, comfortable, and clean. Please consider these excellent hosts if you want to explore this area.

Vinalhaven Island is our favorite place, and Sean and Jessica gave us a genuine island welcome. Their house was built when Vinalhaven was making quarried granite columns for significant east coast buildings. Jessica's family has occupied it since those days. A 2 minute walk to town, and a lovely stroll to the nature reserve on a small cove, nearby. The library held a standing-room-only authors talk on their new book, 'The Art of Penobscot Bay'. Small main street cafes where we were treated as locals, super- friendly people everywhere we went. An intact community, a rarity. A must-visit is the museum, with its displays of artifacts of fishing and quarrying in their context. A bonus is the pleasant ferry ride from Rockland that passes by small islands on the way to Vinalhaven, seals and porpoise popping up alongside. No need to take a car,- you can walk to everything from the ferry terminal. Vinalhaven is OUR haven , and now Sean and Jessica's place will be our home base!

This was my second time staying here, Racy’s place feels like a home away from home. We had everything we needed, the gas stove was a huge plus to make the cold windy nights even more toasty. The hot tub is amazing. It was a huge plus having the backyard area to walk our dog. The first time l stayed here I was alone, this time my husband was with me, so we had a great time playing dominoes and walking around the neighborhood. Hope to return.

We stayed at Michael and Lori’s while in the area for an ultramarathon race. The home was the absolute perfect home base for us during our stay. It’s situated on a beautiful rise overlooking the water and is so peaceful. We enjoyed the wood stove and plenty of space to spread out and relax. Multiple bedrooms and baths make it easy to have your own private space. I was traveling with a buddy this trip, but already have returned home and talked about how easily the home could accommodate our family if we ever wanted to travel back and spend a weekend (or longer) exploring the area. Most of all, kudos to Michael and Lori for being super responsive hosts. They provide extremely clear instructions for the whole stay. They were a pleasure to rent from. I highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the area. You will be so glad you stayed with Michael and Lori!! I will definitely be back to rent from them again. Thank you, Michael and Lori!!
