Comfortable holiday home in a good location. Close to shops and riverside walking track. Plenty of books, games, and well maintained kitchenware.

It was a comfortable cottage with a homely feel, pretty garden setting, easy walking distance to main street amenities. I recommend it for anyone looking for comfortable, quiet, affordable accommodation at Augusta.

Don’t think you could get a place that is any more centrally loccated in between the center of town and the main jetty/boat ramp, yet it feels like you are in your own bit of paradise. If you have young kids, they will always have others to play with as the local pub property is at the end of this property and lots of kids.

What an amazing stay! As soon as we walked in, we knew we had found a gem. It was cold, wet and dark when we arrived. All we had to do was unpack the car, connect our easy listening playlist to the Marshall speaker, Open the bottle of wine that our hosts had left for us (and indulge in some Tim Tams.. yum) and light a match. The fireplace had already been prepared and within minutes we were relaxed to the wazoo! There is nothing that hasn't been thought of at The Shipwright's Mistress.. From the story of how it came to be, to the lighting/ambience of the space, to the AMAZING bodywash in the shower (thank you for your secrets, Pepper), to the interior finishings throughout the whole place, and the exquisite decorating and colour choices. This place is just perfect. PERFECT! We wanted to stay longer! We will definitely be back.. This place hasn't been scaled back for an airbnb. It's like we were staying in someone's home... in the best possible way.
