Compact and bijou apartment

The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Laura provided excellent directions which took us straight to the gate. Stewart was there when we arrived, so let us in and made us very welcome. The garden is beautiful, and he did say we could use it but sadly we didn't have time. As others have said, Laura provided milk, orange juice, bread, butter and marmelade which was a nice touch and meant we didn't need to shop. The whole apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, with a cosy and comfortable sitting area. We only used the kitchen for breakfast but it looked well enough equipped to cook in if necessary. Beds were also comfortable and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of birds in the garden and no traffic!

The Lodge in Marsden

I really enjoyed my 2 nights at this accommodation. It was very clean and well presented. The hot tub was nice and private with a lovely little seating area with a beautiful view. Lovely lounge area with a tv and I took my own firestick as per previous reviews so I could watch my own Netflix etc. Would definitely recommend

BumbleBee Cottage - Cosy Countryside Cottage

KayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We decided to take our book club on a 2 night getaway. We found Bumblebee cottage and fell in love. The 5 of us stayed here in the beautiful property reading, chatting, sipping wine and eating snacks. We loved the house, it really is stunning. There is lots of space, the cottage is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The local are is absolutely stunning and we went on a few lovely walks. The wildlife we saw was incredible and we got so lucky with the weather. I can’t recommend Bumblebee cottage highly enough. The host was lovely and accommodating too. So responsive and helpful. The welcome pack was lovely and included lots of information about the local area. If you want a quiet, relaxing area with stunning views and lots of local wildlife then this place is definitely for you.
