We loved our stay at Wark Cottage. It exceeded our expectations in every way. It has been lovingly restored by Emma and Matt with a beautifully appointed kitchen and spacious bathroom adding a touch of luxury. After an unusual deluge, Matt called by to make sure we were ok. Country hospatility at it's best!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay and found the property was well suited to our needs (4 couples and one child). Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and not feel on top of each other. The barn outside provided a great space for everyone to relax and chat one the little one was in bed. Beds were super comfy and the house was well furnished and set up. Highly recommend and would happily stay again. Thank you!

Great location, a short walk to town, very mountainbike and family friendly. We had a lovely stay over the Cup long weekend. Ry generously welcomed us with fresh milk, eggs and break in the fridge - a nice touch. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing place to relax while working out of town. This is a definite return when we are in the area again. The hosts are helpful, polite and make you feel at home. They have an amazing property with great animals who are as friendly as the hosts. Two thumbs up. Can’t wait to book again.

The Captain's Cottage was a lovely place for a weekend away. We only wish we could have stayed longer. So many cute little touches on the naitical theme. Loved sitting by the crackling fire at night and sipping the complementary port. Highly recommended this as a place to stay.

Theresa was a very thoughtful host. The location next to the National Park was great. It was also a great base to explore across to Yackandandah, Stanley, Chiltern and Beechworth. Lush garden surrounds in early summer.

We stayed only one night and will not hesitate to stay longer at another time. Ticks all the boxes for a comfortable, peaceful stay in a very pleasant setting. Just the right place to relax after a long car journey. Will recommend this accommodation to others without hesitation. Thank you Trish.

Muskaan was kind and helpful and was responsive to address issues we face with respect to hot water.. great place to stop over on our way to Melbourne.. close to a fuel station and restaurant.

A good location, close to the Main Street. Quiet area and convenient to wineries and other attractions

We loved staying at Must Love Dogs with our two cavoodles. The accomodation is walking distance to the Main Street and only a short drive to the wineries. Chris was so friendly and accomodating. Her delicious breakfasts and chats in the morning were our favourite part. We can’t wait to return for another cup of tea from Chris’ Chihuahua tea pot 👌🏻

Jan was an amazing host, with quick clear communication. The home was lovely, and everything we needed was provided, and the pool was a refreshing treat during our warm stay. Location wise it was perfect, with heaps to explore in the area, walking distance to the main street, RSL and of course, the chocolate factory is literally down the road. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again next time!

We loved it at Linda and Geoff’s. So peaceful. Everything that we could have wanted was provided. Met up with my son and his two dogs,it was ideal. Went into Beechworth a few times but mostly sat on the verandah chatting and enjoying the peacefulness. And all the little birds. Slept very well in the comfy beds and when it got super hot the aircon was brilliant. We didn’t get to meet Linda but met Geoff who was lovely. We will be back. Thank you both.

From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Communication with Jo was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with the main street only 10 minutes drive away. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Jo and their property highly enough. A beautiful spot to stay on my drive to Canberra - loved the peacefulness and privacy of the cabin, looking out at the grazing cattle, lovely sunset and my dog loved the well contained yard and going for a stroll down the farm path - so much better than staying at a boring motel! Sharon was lovely and came to greet me, and I appreciated the milk and breakfast supplies and cookies, just lovely and would definitely stay again - highly recommend as a peaceful and comfortable stop to relax and recharge.

Superbly set up in a handy location. We we two couples enjoying the epic Trail and rail trails. The outdoor area was great for hanging out and charging our e-bikes. The breakfast supies and food basics were much appreciated. The cottage was beautiful and the washer dryer combine was very handy after a day on the muddy tracks. The open wardrobe and hanging space worked really well. The kitchen was well set up with everything we needed to eat in. We were able to walk to the main street to browse in the lovely shops and enjoy a meal at the Tans World pub. The Brewery was a great spot for a refreshing beer and very nice pizzas. Thanks for the attention to detail with the instructions and the tasteful set up of the cottage. We had everything we needed. Cheers Wendy

Our family had a lovely 3 night stay here. We stayed here as part of a road trip through Victoria. The place is homely and had all the facilities and amenities we needed. The outside area was great for our dog and the location was perfect to visit nearby towns. Mrytleford is a nice town and we were in walking distance of restaurants and pubs. We very much recommend this holiday home.

Hosts were great to communicate with, we changed a couple of things about our booking and they were more than happy to accommodate us. House was beautiful and had everything we needed for the weekend

Juliana is a friendly, thoughtful and generous host. She gave clear instructions for entry. The space is bright, clear and relaxing. It is a simple and roomy space inside with views across the farms and countryside through large windows and a covered verandah to relax on in front. It was great base for visiting the wineries of the King Valley Region.
