Monthly Rentals in Duns

Had a lovely stay at The Den! My colleague and I were working long hours so didn’t get to enjoy the surrounding area as much as I’d hoped but certainly loved staying at Amanda’s place! Had everything we needed and more :)

We booked the Thursday-Sunday for our anniversary trip and had an absolutely wonderful time, the farm house was dead cosy and we felt right at home. Would definitely recommend the breakfast hamper it made for a brilliant way to start the day. We hope that we can come back at some point and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you so much for having us.

Morag was very helpful with directions on how to access the flat. Property was very clean, warm and well equipped. Very kind of Morag to leave us tea, coffee, milk, butter and bread for our use. Lovely sunny flat and would highly recommend it.

I knew the places I wanted to visit in the area and Kate’s place was perfectly positioned for my plans. Alnwick and Craster on my way north, Bamburgh Castle and a walk on Berwick’s walls the next day, North Berwick and a walk between St Abbs and Coldingham Bay then on my way home, a visit to Cragside. Kate had given very clear directions so it was easy to find. Entry was easy via key in key safe. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. A great base for my stay. The little community of Whitsome Hill was really quiet and surrounded by beautiful open countryside. I travelled alone on this occasion and felt really safe and comfortable at Kate’s.
