Monthly Rentals in Dungeness

We had a wonderful few days at Seagulls rest. It is first class accommodation you couldn't want for more we will definitely have a return visit. Very comfortable and a real home from home. It was perfectly situated for the events we had planned and a wide range of restaurants to choose from. Penny and Stuart have thought of everything to ensure a perfect stay.

The Mistral cabin is one of two right on the edge of the Dungeness estate. Situated at the front of a row of old cottages. Double doors open to an uninterrupted view of two lighthouses looking over the shale and array of plants. The area is very peaceful- we never heard the neighbours in the next cabin. Very high spec inside - like a good quality hotel. Everywhere in Dungeness is walkable from here and it’s a great location. Rye is a beautiful medieval town 20 mins away and is a must for quality cafes and antique shops. Very close to the Pilot pub which is the best for food, great fish and chips but probably worth going to Rye as well for a change a menu. It’s a great location and a wonderful experience to stay here- just roam around yams discover the surreal area.

From the moment I made the reservation Adams communication was superb. He was very welcoming and made things easy. It was the start of a wonderful few days. The cabin met all expectations large, warm, spotless comfortable, homely and very well equipped. My husband and I were with our dog and we were celebrating her twelfth birthday if she could write a review. It would be about the awesome walks, sea and countryside outside the door and just being able to walk to pub and spend time altogether. Dungeness is a raw, wild, industrial landscape but the more I understood the history of the people who in the 1920s dragged the rolling stock to the area to live in. I respected the importance of the area being preserved and protected. We loved the view of the lighthouse lit up at night. Thank you Adam for your hospitality.

It’s so hard to know where to start! Channel View is a stunning property in an amazing location. Being last house off the main road through the Dungeness Estate and thanks to the amazing design of the property we had uninterrupted views of the coast through numerous large windows. Dungeness is a fairly quirky place with some eclectic properties but so worth a visit. Channel View was a great base. The house has been so well designed with so many taking points - the small kitchen window providing another viewing point; the porthole bedroom windows with its special cushion which acts as a blind; the positioning of the bedroom window so the lighthouse isn’t disturbing; the retro sofa and of course the central railway carriage around which the property is built. We didn’t want to leave and I hope we can return in the not too distant future.
