Everything was as it was described. We also paid for the whirlpool which was an real highlight. As we stayed there off season there was no running water, as mentioned in the description, we had enough water and we new that there is a place close to get some water. For a few days it was absolutely fine, for longer time I think it's tough. Other then that everything was fine and the hosts were absolutely helpful also during the stay and were reachable in short time. The small town it's so beautiful and there is a small shop for all the necessaries. You just definitely need a car. It's 1 hour from oslo, it's a super cute small town which is a nice difference to hectic Oslo.

We were very pleased. The house is very cozy. The view is very nice and the location very quiet and perfect for excursions or hiking in the area. The house was just what we wanted. The kitchen is extraordinarily well-equipped. It has a pellet grill and a stovetop. It has dining tables in the house and outdoors. The living room is very cozy with the fire pits. The place was perfect for us.

We had the pleasure of staying at Christoffer’s place for a full week, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The communication with the host was seamless. He even provided a high chair for our baby even he didn’t have to. The space itself was exactly as advertised—clean, spacious, and well-appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made cooking meals easy and enjoyable. The living room was cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights after a day of exploring with our 7-month old baby. The location was ideal, with easy access to Botanical garden and a lot of other attractions, Kaffebrenneriet for coffee to go and a several good shops, such as Coop. The neighborhood felt safe, and there were plenty of convenient public transport, yet still peaceful and quiet at night. The small touches, like fresh towels, toiletries, and a welcome basket with tulips, really made the experience feel special.

From the start, we were very well received. Tomasz was ready to greet us when we arrived, so we were in really safe hands. He just reviewed the amenities with us and everything was really nice! We had an absolutely perfect stay at Tomasz's place and our trip couldn't have been better! We will definitely be back!

Anniken's house is amazing. Really well decorated, nice garden. Not central but city center is easy accessibles spent 5 nice days there with our kids. Unfortunately the weather was rainy every night so we couldn't enjoy eating outside in the great garden. Watch out if you have small kids cause there is a steep stair going down, right after the entrance. Anniken was very nice with us and easy to contact anytime.

Anne's house is very welcoming and warm. We used the Oslo-pass for public transportation and we recommend using this. The pass is worth the investment even if you sightsee for one day. We highly recommend Anne's place.

We had an amazing experience at the summer cabin in Hvitsten! The cabin is absolutely beautiful, in a perfect location that gave us peace and beautiful views. We, including our small family and dog, enjoyed ourselves for 4 nights and could not have been happier. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our inquiries. When we experienced some challenges with wifi, it was sorted out right away, which we really appreciated. All in all a delightful stay and we are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Upstairs apartment which really gave a Norwegian feeling. Everything is neat and clean and equipped with everything you need. Good beds and a lovely cozy seating area. Homely furnished . Relatively quiet location with within walking distance a lake restaurants and shops a short distance by car. Super friendly and helpful host . We would love to come again.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

This house is more beautiful than the pictures show. The location is wonderful and so peaceful. We were lucky to have the snow and it was just like a winter wonderland. We were a group of 7 people. We had the best time in Oslo at the apartment. Very well positioned. Just perfect - and Kevin and Maja, the perfect hosts. Couldn’t have been better. 🤗

Great Apartment in an awesome and stylish neighborhood right by the water, lots of restaurants and close by Munch, national theatre, the train station and the city. We were a large family group gathering for our first time in Oslo. The island location is gorgeous and the house is both beautiful and well suited to a family group. Catherine was proactive in getting our groceries delivered so we were comfortable despite no stores on the island. We also had free use of their boat which allowed us to arrange our schedule as we liked. Pacing with our large family group meant accounting for two shuttle trips to get all of us across to the mainland. The 31 bus line was close and frequent for getting us into Oslo. We bought a week pass but no one ever seemed to check the bus ticket. The house itself was well equipped with everything kitchen, fireplace and gorgeous outdoor space. It was a little cool and rainy for the pool but the hanging outdoor bed was a favorite spot to hang out.

Great host, great stay, exceeded expectations. We were really happy with the place, it had plenty of room and beds for our guests. There is room for 2-3 cars at front, could not hear any road noise so it was peaceful, plenty of bedding and everything felt clean and fresh. Kids loved using the trampoline and playing some of the many games that are around. Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and everything you need. Iron and ironing board was handy as well as washing machine. Gym was a nice to have with TV whilst you work out. The host was really quick to respond when we had questions and they were very professional. Overall, we loved our stay here!

The home is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. It's great for a large group or family. Plenty of bedrooms, large kitchen, large dining room table and very comfortable seating in the living room. The pool outside was outstanding. It was more than a house, it was definitely a home that was warm and inviting the moment you stepped through the door. There was a complete guide left for us on how to take care of the house, local places to eat, and where to find public transportation. Our hosts were very responsive before our trip and during our stay there. We Highly recommend this wonderful home and hosts if you're interested in staying in Oslo!
