Absolutely beautiful spot. Stopped in before taking the Port Aux Basques ferry, but would definitely return to this lovely area as a destination and spend some time. The cottage was comfortable and clean! Would certainly recommend.

We had to book last minute as our ferry from Newfoundland to Nova Scotia was postponed and we wanted a place to stay closer to the ferry. After booking Travis' cottage based on location we were extremely and pleasantly surprised at how nice the cottage was. The pictures didn't do it justice! We arrived late at night in the dark so couldn't see much outside but quickly made ourselves right at home inside. Travis even supplied fresh baked bread, local honey and eggs for breakfast. When we woke in the morning to take the dogs out the scenery was breathtaking 😍 I wish we had more time here but we will definitely be back to explore the area and select this cottage to stay in. Highly recommend this place as one to seek out!

Amazing and beautiful location. The kitchen was fully equipped and ready for us. The hot tub was AMAZING. Best one I was ever in. The sunset and sunrise on the balcony will take your breath away. Amazing view of ocean and lighthouse. 10/10 will recommend to anyone travelling across the island. Convenient location only 40 mins to the boat.

Shane was excellent to deal with, beautiful home. beautiful scenery, it was the perfect spot for our visit.
