Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Doorn

Lovely cottage for a week away with our toddler. Beautiful quiet park and wooded area. The garden of the cottage offers all kinds of nice playgrounds for children, so you can sit quietly as a parent.

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

Ruud and Peter were great hosts, there to welcome us and provide very useful tips on our arrival and whenever we needed them. The White Tulip was clean, bright and comfortable with a lovely little outdoor area and garden to use. The house had everything we needed, including a big comfortable bed, a large bathroom with an amazing shower. As we had a car we were able to travel the short distance to catch the train to Amsterdam and to visit Haarlem and Ruud's tips allowed us to park for free on each occasion.

We had a great stay in the very nice cottage. There is a very spacious living room with a good kitchen, two bedrooms and another sleeping arrangement in the living room... The house is also good for small children, there is a staircase but it only leads to storage space so you do not need stair safety. There are also some toys, which made us very happy. The garden and the surroundings are especially beautiful, you can take great walks through the forest directly from the house. The only drawback (the landlords also write it in the information brochure that is in the house) is that there are an insane number of ticks in the garden, we were only in the grass for an hour and had to remove two ticks from us - but of course no one can do anything about it.

We had a wonderful stay at Bart and Carole's guest house. They were very warm and welcoming and really happy we were there. They were very reachable if had questions or issues. They even arranged a full cleaning half way through our stay for a fee for the cleaner. The unit was perfect for us, a party of two, for three weeks, a home away from home. It was walkable to shopping, dining, and the grocery store, great location. When we come back to the Netherlands we will be checking on the availability of this wonderful home.

We had a wonderful stay. Remco was always easy to reach and always responded and helped super quickly to requests. The surroundings are totally beautiful. Many restaurants are within walking distance and a supermarket is right next door. We highly recommend the place

The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I've never seen so many dogs. All on a leash and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes walk you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the leash. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq , is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Thank you for the nice days.

Conny’s place is lovely and the area is even nicer than pictured! It was just as the listing described and we had everything we needed. Conny was also a super helpful and responsive host. Would recommend :)

Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! Nice and unique appartment with great hosts. Tailor-made for a stay with kids (a lot to explore and discover). Very well equiped kitchen (nothing was missing). Located in a quiet and cozy area in the suburb of Utrecht (train/bus connections around the corner). We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time in Naarden and enjoyed the space to explore the surrounding areas, had some proper night sleeps with our little one and can recommend it. Great Airbnb and great host as part of our trip across the Netherlands.

Nanda’s place is very spacious and comfortable, with lovely large windows and all the facilities you would need. The apartment is on the first floor (no lift!) with the hosts’ living area on the ground floor and bedrooms on the second floor. Easy 5 minute walk to buses, just 3 stops to Central Utrecht. Nanda was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Recommended!

Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

The property is located 20 mins from Schiphol Airport, in a quiet gated community. The house was neat and clean and located beside a water canal. The kitchen and cutlery were well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy to get to the city and to the other attractions. As stated in the description there is no washer / dryer. Bedrooms are located on the floor above the ground floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and courteous. Upon request we were given a late checkout which was very helpful and very kind of the host. Indeed a superhost! Would love to come back someday!

We had a lovely stay and Anneke or her daughter were always available for questions during the stay. The house is very nicely decorated, everything was clean, good amenities and the pool and Jacuzzi were great. I am more than happy to recommend the place.

We had a great time. We loved the place, everything was perfect as in the photos. The cottage is cozy, comfortable and good location. We really enjoyed the amenities like sauna and bikes. The hosts are very kind and communication was easy and efficient.

The location of the vacation home is very idyllic, no car traffic (a small cart for luggage transport is available and is also useful), direct access to the water incl. Jetty and SUP and occasional flight noise during the day from nearby Schiphol Airport is not too much of a problem. Nevertheless, the condition of the kitchen requires a small upgrade (baseboards, etc.) and the windows could be cleaned extensively. Jan responded quickly to questions.

My family and I (there are five of us) found the place really spacious! It’s a great house that matched the description perfectly. It's surrounded by lots of restaurants and supermarkets, making it very walkable. The house is also located near a bus station, and it's just an 8-minute ride to the central station. It was a really nice place to stay! Moreover, the hosts were very friendly and responsive whenever we needed anything or had questions. Overall, we were really happy with our stay!

Splendid place for a weekend with friends. Big enough for 12 people, with a gorgeous garden and a nordic bath. We really enjoyed our stay! Only point which could be improved: the kitchen is a bit small if you want to cook.

Insanely great house with super nice hosts. Joke and Peter always help with quick answers and give good tips. There are tips for activities, also to be found directly in the house. The house is a real dream and you feel right at home. We love staying here and have come here once a year so far.
