Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Donegal

The Deer View property is an absolute story book setting. Nestled on a cozy property surrounded by lush green landscape and herds of sheep chomping away at the grass. You get to be set back in time at this peaceful cottage while getting to fully enjoy modern days amenities like a beautifully remodeled bathroom & a piping hot jacuzzi outside. They have a great outside bbq /fireplace to make the vibes even better. We’re very thankful we had the opportunity to stay in this location. Thank you to Emer & John!!

We had a lovely May Bank Holiday weekend at Christine's place. Everything you need is in. Spacious living room with beautiful view, well equipped kitchen to prep meals for us and kids. Firepit outside to enjoy smores in the evening. House was clean and well prepared for group of 3 families with kids. Highly recommended!

House was very clean , could not fault it in any way . Everything works perfectly as it should , and has everything you need in the house. Very modern and comfortable house in a very convenient location which is not far from letterkenny , with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby . Christine is a lovely host and is very easy going . Check in was very straight forward. I would highly recommend this house to someone and I will definitely stay here again !

This home is worth any price they ask! The magnificent view made us want to simply sit at the huge window and watch the days go by. But there were many other things to do in the area. Meeting the host was an enjoyable experience. Every possible convenience was available. The bedding was comfortable and exactly as described. We fully intend to go back again.

Sharon was a fantastic host, super responsive and no question or query was too much trouble. The house is lovely and clean with laid-out instructions for the broadband and heating. The view is brilliant stretching across from St John’s Point to Ballyshannon, Bundoran, Leitrim and Sligo (Benbulban). I would say on a good day you can see Mayo! There is a coffee pod around the corner and the beach is about a 3-minute drive towards Killybegs. We have a young family and Sharon made sure there was a travel cot available which was a great help for packing up the car for the long journey. I would recommend and I will be back to Largy!

Lovely house with quirky decor which we loved. Very comfortable house which fitted our needs perfectly. Location was great and close to the beach, town etc Also a great area to tour around North Donegal.

Jill and Alistair could not have been better hosts. From initial booking inquiry through checkout, they were incredibly helpful, responsive, friendly, and went the extra mile without any prompt. Directions to the stay were crystal clear, the property is immaculate, beautiful, private, and well located for the exploration of Finad and all of Donegal. Rathmullan is a wonderful town, and I can not recommend enough a stay with Jill, and Alistair, and especially their wonderful dogs. Alistair was extra helpful in navigating the area, providing recommendations, asking for feedback, and saving a few strokes up at Portsalon Golf Club. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay well within reach of some of Ireland's most beautiful drives, landmarks, and scenery, this is the place to be. We have travelled quite a bit over the last few years, and this stay was the best we have experienced due to not only location, but the hospitality of Jill and Alistair. A review of 5 stars is too few.

Lovely home with modern appliances and a clean, beautiful designed space. Mona was kind enough to let me do laundry. She is an great baker and gave us amazing baked treats. Her dogs are adorable. The place is close to so many amazing hikes and walks and natural beauty.

Grahams place was lovely, beautiful surroundings. Very close to the town of Letterkenny only 10 min drive. Place was lovely very comfortable, hot tub was amazing great addition for the price your paying great deal . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to come to Donegal

Stephen was an absolutely great host, and very friendly. The house is in a beautiful location, close to water. Every bedroom has a bathroom and there’s one in the kitchen aswell, this was very nice to have! Thank you for a great stay Stephen, would definitely recommend to a friend 👍🏼

The Mall Chalet is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful furnishings and a magnificent view. The hostess, Norita, is very friendly and helpful. The cookies, wine, sweets, and a rose upon arrival mark Norita as a wonderful host. Thank you very much, and we'd be happy to welcome you again.

Martina's hideaway was so quiet.....if you listened carefully you could hear sheep in the distance and birdsong but other than that it was still and calming. Perfect hideaway for those who want some time in the middle of nature. We loved it. Small and compact but had everything we needed apart from WiFi which didn't work.

Amazing accommodation in a brilliant location. The apartment is absolutely beautiful, very spacious and gorgeous view of the water. The hosts are brilliant. Will be back!

This is a fantastic apartment in a really lovely part of Donegal. The apartment was spotlessly clean, airy, and beautifully furnished with a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and powerful showers. We loved the outdoor terrace with a fire pit and the most amazing views of Portnablagh harbour and bay. Cove restaurant is just across the road and Dunfanaghy (with grocery store, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops) is a 3 minute drive. This is the perfect location for exploring the beaches, castles, and forest parks of North Donegal. Also the perfect location for just chilling out on the terrace and enjoying the views. Hilary, Alan and Joanne are excellent hosts, great communication and a warm welcome on arrival. Lot's of nice touches to make you as comfortable as possible during your stay. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely cottage convenient to beach and village. Spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short break. The cottage, while part of a small group of It holiday cottages, is secluded by shrubs giving a sense of the countryside by the sea. It was ideal for us as a family attending a wedding at nearby Rathmullan House.

Great place to stay, only 20 mins to Letterkenny city. Great views from the hot tub. Place was kept very clean. Everything we needed was provided. Instructions on everything, kitchen utensils, toiletries, etc. all in all a very comfy and welcoming place to stay. Very easy to find . Host was very communicative and was always happy to help.

Peaceful location. We had a lovely stay in the snug cabin. The pub is fantastic and well maintained. Clear instructions on how to find the property and a list of local recommendations were appreciated.

Colin and Lisa were super friendly and welcoming. We were their very first guests, and they were so excited to have us, we truly felt at home! They shared lots of great tips about nearby places to visit and even gave us a little tour of their lovely fruit and veggie garden. We had some really nice chats too. Their home is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a personal touch — especially the amazing paintings by Lisa on the walls! They also stocked the kitchen with breakfast goodies and all the essentials for cooking. Even though the Airbnb is new, it had everything we needed. The view from the house is stunning, since it’s up on a hill — just like in the pictures! They were so kind to send us off when we checked out, which made us feel really appreciated. Such a sweet and memorable stay. We highly recommend this place to other travellers looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.
