House vacation rentals in Dolphin Sands

Peace & Plenty truly fits it's name. The stunning location and views encourage relaxation. The house is very well appointed, from the kitchen to the artwork to the bookshelves.We loved picking vegetables from the garden to accompany our dinner. After a day spent sightseeing or enjoying the beach in front of the property, it was fun to come home to our own little indoor pool. Charmaine is an excellent host. A bottle of wine and a selection of condiments awaited us at check-in. She responds very quickly to any questions. After we checked out, we realized a piece of jewelry was left behind. Charmaine quickly had it located and arranged for it to be returned to us. We would definitely choose to stay here again if in Tasmania.

Such a beautiful home! You can watch the sunset from the balcony and hear the ocean waves while you sleep. And of course the heated pool was lovely with amazing views. Also it’s not too far from Freycinet National Park for the hikers. Would 100% recommend!

A stay at Rockpool is truly food for the soul. We spent a memorable week in this glorious house, soaking up this beautiful pocket of Tasmania. The house is so cleverly designed - it is expansive and luxe but also earthy and relaxed. It embraces and respects the wilderness it is nestled in and allows you to really watch nature’s great show. We were thrilled to share the space with the local wildlife, to stargaze at night and enjoy the soundscape of the ocean and birdsong. Thank you Lynne and Paul for sharing your breathtaking property.

This was a fabulous place to stay with children. We booked a number of other holiday cabins with other families and the kids and adults all had a ball. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back. There's lots to do in the area but equally lots to do in the resort . The local scenery and beaches are stunning.

This is an amazing historic house with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The rooms are massive. It is well equipped for a group. The location is great. It is a short walk to the cafes, supermarket and cinema. It is quiet. The swimmimg pool is a bit cold.

The Ocean Retreat is an absolute pleasure to stay at. The deck and pool overlooking the ocean is what sets this place apart, the view is breathtaking. The heated pool is a great temperature, we used it even though the weather wasn't really warm. The kitchen has great amenities and is well stocked for entertaining. Having two dishwashers and a butlers pantry is brilliant. BBQ is huge! Makes cooking for the family easy. We loved that every bedroom has it's own bathroom/ensuite, makes it great when you have 4 couples staying like we did. All the bedrooms are very spacious, plenty of room for the bassinet and stuff for our infant. The layout of the loungeroom is well considered too, the gas "woodheater" gives all the ambience of a log fire without the mess and warms the area really well. Thank you Nigel and Courtney for a fantastic stay, we hope to be back again soon!

The Property is situated in a nice quiet location overlooking the water. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location was fantastic for exploring the adjacent national park. Close enough to adjacent Coles Bay with a small grocery store and ice cream parlour. The accommodation was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. The barbecue was excellent quality.Wendy was helpful and friendly. The neighbourhood was peaceful and welcoming. I cannot think of a better location to stay for a holiday at the national park. One thing that could be an issue, but I don’t think should be an issue, is that the home is on tank water. Wendy recommended that we boil the water before use; which we did not do (because we are on tank at home) and it was absolutely not a problem. Rainwater tastes so good. Absolutely we would stay here again and recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay as a family! The fully fenced yard, warm outdoor shower for sandy feet and toys and books were great for the kids. The beach is close and walkable. The beautiful hill to the side of the property is just serene and lovely. The kitchen is so well set out and the rooms and bathrooms comfortable and great! Wish we could stay longer!

We enjoyed our stay at Alison and Rod's. It's a spacious, clean home with a large deck area where you can sit and watch the sea. We loved walking down to the beach. It was also a great base from which to explore Freycinet and the rest of the East coast.

This home was amazing! The kitchen was very well appointed with a separate walk in pantry for lots of storage. The living room area was great. The bedrooms were all great - comfy beds & linens. The door between the living space and the bedroom hallways was much appreciated. The outdoor space is fabulous - a huge table for meals, a nice barbeque, beautiful fire pit, and very private. We had six adults plus a 4 yr. old and a 1 yr old - there so many options for toys, books, games etc for the kids was such a nice touch. There were plastic utensils and dishes for the kids. There is a separate full bathroom in the outside laundry room. The main bathroom was great. Oscillating fans in each bedroom for nighttime was the only thing missing. We walked to the beach with the kids & to downtown. This home was spectacular.

Jane was very responsive and she was great with the communication. The place was amazing, it really felt like home. It literally had everything we needed. Very clean as well. Very close to St Helens and beautiful beaches. Highly recommended.

Absolutely awesome spot to stay. Very private on 200 Acres and great view of the water. Only upgrade I can think of would be to put a toilet in each ensuite instead of having 1 separate toilet but with just two couples it worked fine. Outstanding place to visit.

The Retreat and Numie is an absolutely stunning accommodation with great facilities too truly zen. Lee was so thoughtful and accommodating with our needs on the day but really everything was so perfect in every way that every part just made it exponentially better! The Retreat is so easy to be at home in and be inspired to relax, zen, and get creative! We will totally be back and recommend this investment to anyone that wants to enjoy Freycinet away from the hustle and bustle with amazing sauna, hot n cold tubs to boot!

A beautiful spot to decompress after a busy few days in Hobart. Betul and Defne’s home was a stunning location to cook up with some friends and enjoy a bit of R&R. A good book, some card games and great company with the most beautiful outlook!

Martin was a great host, responsive when we had queries. The place was beautiful as well, with a great view of the town :)

My family and I had such an enjoyable, relaxing stay at Saltwater Solace. The house was set up perfectly for our kids, with toys, books, games and stunning outdoor areas that provided endless entertainment and fun for them on the sunny, warm days we were lucky enough to experience. The view was next level and made for the most amazing backdrop everyday. Beds were comfy, great location close to major attractions, lovely host etc etc! It was bliss. Would definitely return.
